The Valley Cork

Excellent wine bar! Went with the Misty Mountains mead flight and it was fantastic! Tons of options to taste and buy. Strawberry funnel cake fries were a great accompaniment. Friendly service. A must-do if in Luray!

We had an amazing experience at The Valley Cork! We were in Luray for the weekend and stopped by on a Saturday shortly after they opened. We were bummed when we arrived to a sign that they were only doing take out that evening due to limited staff. The owner saw us peeking through the window and allowed us to come in to the empty restaurant for wine and a cheeseboard! Everything was delicious and the owner was absolutely lovely to talk to. Our time at the Valley Cork was one of the highlights of our trip! Their dinner options also looked delicious, would definitely recommend!

The absolute best place to eat in the Stanley/ Luray area. They take a lot of pride in what they prepare, even the packaging shows more effort than most other restaurants or food chains. Eat ther, and you will enjoy everything they have. My Favorite 😍

We had my bridal shower at the cork. They did a wonderful job decorating and having a grazing table set up when trying to clean up they denied our help and made the whole experience so enjoyable if I could give 10 stars I would.

Visiting Shenandoah National park and we found this place on google maps. It was a Friday and they’re having a Trivia night! We had so much fun! We had awesome drinks (wine and cider). Also we had the opportunity to meet and talk with the owner and she was really nice and friendly with us!

Flights are not currently on the menu but they do have them! You can pick any Virginia wines(possibly others but we only did VA wines) or you can ask them to help you pick. Our pours were extremely generous for $25. Very friendly and helpful service.

Atmosphere is very welcoming.
Menu is small however everything was great! The California flatbread was amazing!!
Prices are great. Daniel was our server and did a superb job!

We had such a lovely evening. Called from the road, 2 hours out and they had a table waiting for us when we got there. Lovely wine, a flight of ciders for my husband who's not a wine drinker The charcuterie board was excellent. Can not recommend enough.

I am not from Virginia and loved trying a sampler of local wines paired with a cheese board. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also really enjoyed the space itself, especially (what I think was) a massive old apothecary cabinet.

Awesome atmosphere place. Drawers are from when the building was originally a hardware store. They have wine, ciders, and beer.

This is a fabulous compliment to progressive downtown Luray. The Valley Cork has restored the building beautifully and provide a comfortable environment for social gatherings. Their wine selection is outstanding and friendly service superb. Enjoy!

We had a great night. It was busy but our waiter was working very hard. The charcuterie board was fabulous and we had the chicken flatbread ( would be better with a little BBQ sauce added to this but it was good). We ended up getting a bottle of wine Jam Jar Shiraz. Overall great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. We would go back!

The Cork is a valley gem! The salad bar is always top notch, and the rest of the menu is excellent as well. Friendly service, and a tasteful, casual atmosphere make the cork a great place to grab a meal, or just have a drink.

Tourists from Los Angeles and we were blessed to find this great restaurant! Well, actually we didn't find it, the owner found us... We were there off season so other than the local firefighters, we were the only ones there shortly after they opened for lunch. We ordered the Chicken Flat bread and the salad bar. Both were great! Salad bar had everything I love and more at a great price. My husband loved his flatbread, more toppings than expected, and tasted great. Thanks so much, Jim and Carole

Diamond in the not so rough. Camping nearby, we arrived too late to set up and cook. So finding this gem was a real treat. Reasonably priced. Moderate variety of small plates, all of which seem well prepared. Large wine variety. Courteous staff. Certainly plan to visit many times in the future.

Great place for lunch! The inside is very attractive with a gorgeous bookshelf feature along one wall. There was a nice salad bar available but we both got chicken tenders and fries with a glass of wine each. Both Virginia wines were fantastic and the waitress, while being very busy, was still attentive and very kind. It was obvious we were tourists in a small town and she welcomed us to the area. We had a lovely time, thank you!

The owners are lovely! Beautiful decor and wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and wine.
