Heartpine Cafe

Stunning cafe.
We visited while waiting for our tour in the Luray Caverns next door.
I loved walking throughout the property at their beautifully preserved buildings. We stumbled upon their wine tasting just in time and enjoyed it with a group of people visiting from Germany. The mountain views and fresh, crisp air puts me in such a state of happiness (the wine helped).
Truly a beautiful place. We had bratwurst and chips inside after our wine tasting and marveled at the quaint, cottage charm. Hope to be back one day.

Darling lil place to stop at. Food was amazing. Small selection, but amazing. The alcohol is expensive because you get to keep the mason jar mug it comes in. A very cute lil keepsake. The cider and beer (made on site) was delicious. You can't beat the views or the atmosphere

Yummy sandwiches panini style. My son said, “they make very good food “. We ate 4-different ways; Reuben, turkey avocado, turkey, and ham & cheese. Loved the atmosphere; outdoor patio seating under shade with speakers in the rafters. I think blue grass.

This little vineyard sits right across from the caverns and even on a very busy day feels like a getaway. Good food, great wine and a beautiful view this place deserves 5 stars

The food was so perfect. especially the pineapple & ham panini and pork bbq sandwich. Highly recommend! Staff are also highly knowledgeable about the real history of shenandoah. Ask questions and they’re happy to answer!

Prices looked fair decided to try it out very good sandwiches. Soup of the day was great. Staff was very nice

Great place to eat as a vegetarian. The price of the food is fair for what you get, close to Panera Bread prices. $13 for veggy sandwich, a bottle water and some chips. Limited in door seating (4) tables. The staff are friendly and always smiling. Nice outside views and great local root beers.e

Very pretty location next to Luray Caverns. We stopped by for a wine tasting, and it was pretty good! We did not try the food, but man, was it slow paying for anything. Maybe it was just the family ahead of us, but it took a good ten minutes just to pay for our wine tasting and we were only the second group in line. The staff was friendly but seemed a little lethargic, maybe because it was so hot outside, so I won't knock them too hard for it.

The food here was simple, and delicious. The atmosphere on the patio looking out at all the old houses and mountains in the background is pretty cool.

Great pulled pork sandwich! But $9 a glass of wine with $21 bottles, people are making a killing. Btw, it's not a ABC law about having a bottle of wine on the patio, it's their rules to make you pay $9 a glass :)

The food was excellent. Really. It was nice they have seating outside. I will recommend the Heartpine Cafe. This is only my opinion, I would rate this Cafe 8 out of 10.

Staff was excellent! Food was good but slightly pricey for what you got. But you can’t beat the convenience next to Luray Caverns and the activities to do around the property we’re great!

Very cozy little cafe with ok food at tourist prices. They did have blue berry soda and a very good turkey sandwich!

Nice place but pricey near Luray Caverns. Good sandwiches but not the best for kids.
