Manchester City Hall

Went in to have my water turned on purchased a new house I had my bills in my name for the same address but I had to go home and get the closing statement which makes sense so take your closing statement if this is a house you purchased.

They say that the water bill is due on the 20th of each month but charge you late fees even if the office is closed on the 20th. How is that fair? I've tried paying it online and my payment never went through. Personally I think if they say it's due on the 20th of each month they need to be open on that day no excuses.

Edit: the water always tastes and smells like bleach. And I don't know about anyone else but all the strong chemicals they have in the water, it's killing my hair.

I wish I could get a job here, only open about half of a week, I just now came to pay my water bill and it is closed! Yes thry close at 4:00 pm (must be nice, the rest of the world works until 5:00pm!) but I arrived at 3:45 pm they were already closed, and GONE! It was obvious that they had been closed for a while. Poor customer service, rude, better than bankers hours and they can't even stay open until the posted time?!?! Give me a break! I am sure no one will card about my review just like no one cares about any of the other bad reviews. Tok bad we don't have a good mayor, maybe a good mayor could fix this office. Yep I get people being Nad when they get thier water cut off because they didn't pay thier bill, but this office makes it very difficult to pay your bill. Pay with a card or on line snd you have to pay extra, I have cash today and I am supposed to drop cash in the drop box!?! I think that is a bad idea! What a joke this office is, someone needs to clean this up, if our current mayor can not than it is time for a new one!

Terrible water. Yellow to brown color 90% of the time. They overcharge consistently. Wont refund without a battle. Not to mention the water bill is outrageous as it is but they literally get accounts mixed up all the time & will bill you for someone else's account. Never sign up for autopay. You'll likely be charged 100's more than your bill is. Neighborhood fb group is full of complaints as well.

Water consistently tastes like chlorine. It tastes that way because if they didn't put chlorine in our water it 100% wouldn't be safe. Also it would be a dark brown color. Lodge your complaints in person. Go to city meetings and co plain in person thats the only way we will get change

When is this city going to be investigated. With this many people having this many issues there is definitely some wrong doing going on. My bill wasn’t even 100 dollars and they cut my water off. In the past they have cut my water off because they supposedly got things mixed up with someone else’s account information. They need to get right.

NAACP AND A REALLY GOOD LAWYER REALLY NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS CITY THEY ARE SO CORRUPT! I HAVENT EVEN APPLIED FOR MY PERMIT FOR MY SHED AND GLEN THE ZONE AND CODING MAN HUNG UP ON ME AND BLUNTLY SAID HE WOULDNT APPROVE MY PERMIT IM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A GREAT LAWYER ANYONE WITH RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHO TO USE TO SUE A CITY FOR VIOLATING YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT AND THR GA LAW PLEASE REACH OUT!

Everyone I have talked too here about my utilities is so unprofessional and rude. The clerk that works there literally told me she was busy and didn’t have time to deal with my issue and was just ungodly rude to me for no reason. Shame on you all for the way you handle your business!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

They lie about same day service.they still have not turned my water in .maybe it's because I'm black .

Why don’t they answer the phone when someone is calling in regards to a citation I’ve called a million times still no answer
