I drive by Franklin's once or twice a week and finally had a chance to stop in to eat breakfast with my family. Everything was great! The SOS, pancakes, bacon, eggs, grits and hash browns were all excellent. The pancakes were huge! The prices were reasonable, lower than any restaurant in Woodbury. We'll be back. My wife says we should go every Saturday. Our server was on point, keeping our drinks full and checking on us just enough to let us know she was there when needed, but not so much to deter from our great meal. All the staff smiled and wished us a great day.

Traveling on the road I stopped and picked up a couple burgers and fries. Cooked by Nita (sic) Started eating the fries on the way home when I had to have a bite of the burger. I had to pull over to write this review because it is just fantastic. Thank you guys.
Sorry for the bad photo but I had to share.

This place has so much charm right in the heart of Warm Spring GA. This was our first time dining here, and breakfast until 3pm is what attracted us to Franklin's. The staff greeted us with a friendly smile and took us to our table. She was prompt to get our drinks and orders. She did let us know that everything was made fresh to order and it would take about 15 to 20 mins for our food to come out. We were in no hurry. Our food came out and everything was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was prompt to refill our drinks and a manager came by to make sure we were pleased with everything. We will definitely eat here again next year when passing through. This little town was pleasing.

Soooo, firstly, coffee to drink for starters.....annnnnnd the coffee was cold, I didn't understand that. My wife ordered an omelet and asked for american cheese, but got chedder cheese? I didn't understand that either because there is a distinct difference between the two. I ordered the SOS with wheat bread....buuuuut, I received white bread, which me and my toilet both understand that I must not eat white bread, IF you know what I mean. And I thought the SOS toast was supposed to be toasted, but mine wasn't. White bread and wheat bread aren't hard to distinguish between one another.

UPDATE: Order a little bit of the same food as the first visit, and the food was fabulously delicious! Coffee was hot, and the food came out as expected. My beautiful wife ordered French toast, eggs over medium, and skillet potatoes, which were delicious. I ordered the same SOS on wheat bread with sausage crumbles. The picture on the right was from today's visit (7-27-2024).

Honored to be the first person to leave a review. I was in town visiting and wanted to grab something to eat since I heard that they were now open.

I took a look at the menu and noticed that the prices were very reasonable. That was a nice surprise.

I ordered a single burger with cheese and bacon. I was surprised at how tasty it was. The bread had a good taste to it and the meat tasted well too. It was fresh beef and it was a very hefty burger, especially for the price. The fries are home cut and thick, they were okay, I personally like a different type of fry.

I also tried the Fallah Dog with chili and slaw. What I didn’t know is that the Fallah Dog is actually a cut up beef hot dog on a toasted bun. Nonetheless, it was good! The hot dog itself was good as well as the chili and slaw.

Overall I was pleased with everything. I went on the restaurant’s 3rd day of being open and felt like they were doing a good job. I will go there again and recommend to others.

They had so many options, so I had to do all sides. We had eggs, French toast, bacon, skillet potatoes and fried squash. All the workers were phenomenal as the food and atmosphere, this place is a must try!

So glad we found this place.... Fun, friendly waitstaff! They have a lot of FDR memorabilia to enjoy while you eat! Oh, and the food was great, too!

My husband and I had dinner Monday Night April 29th, 2024. The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is great. The staff is over the chart. On it. Better than Tid Bits in Pine Mountain and also Casons at Callaway Gardens. We'll be dining there again tonight with our friends that live at Longleaf at Callaway Gardens. Can't wait to try more of there delicious food. Thanks for a wonderful dinner. Larry and Kevin McCutchen.❤

Me and my husband came in and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Virginia is incredible! We watched her take care of multiple people with the brightest smile and upbeat personality. She makes it a great experience for anyone who walks through that door. If you have not been to Franklins go! Ask for Virginia and you will never be disappointed.

The food is good, but not woth the price or the wait time to eat here. It's a tourist attraction.

Virginia the manager, she is absolutely wonderful. I really enjoyed the way she encourages the staff while making the customers feel welcome. And the food was great as well. The cook followed directions to the tee. Great experience overall.

Food was good. Traditional southern fare that was all warm and filling on a day of traveling and a cold night.
Great service despite being short staffed (we visited between Christmas and New Years). Bartender had great recommendations for things to do in town.

Four of us arrived ready for coffee and a hot breakfast to start our day. The restaurant is nicely decorated and there is much about the history of FDR and his life in Warm Springs. We were waited on by a sweet young lady named Georgia who was very friendly, attentive and quick to make sure we had everything we needed. The coffee was great, the food was hot and tasty and took care of our appetites, and we didn't wait more than perhaps 15 minutes from the time we ordered to we received our breakfast. Most definitely will go again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast for lunch. Love that meal and Franklins did not disappoint. Eggs were over medium, the way I wanted them. Pancakes were simply delicious and the coffee was hot. Friendly staff with Jill. Look forward to breakfast for supper! History cards are fun and very educational.

Good breakfast anytime. The food was awesome! (JJ was the chef). Service was very good and professional. Music was not diverse enough, but the beautiful weather outweighed it. Therefore, all in all, we had a superb visit.
