This is a must stop location if you’re nearby great spot for fishing or to launch your boat. There’s even a barbecue and some picnic areas down by the spot to drop in the water. I love this place I will go back 1 million times.

Hidden gem. This park has a very nice boardwalk. Small boat launch and a couple covered picnic tables. Great shade in hotter months.

Hidden gem kayaking along the canopied old Florida creek. Beautiful.
Plenty of parking for hikers and paddlers. Clean permanent bathroom facilities.

Beautiful preserve with an amazing boardwalk. Now if I can just figure out how to borrow or rent a boat or kayak to get out into the preserve. The boat launch was busy with lots of people putting in their kayaks.

It's a ways out there, lots of dirt toads to travel and not well marked. But the kayaking was super. Tons of wildlife, birds, gators, and small animals.

Stumbled on this for Thanksgiving with the in-laws. Great spot with tables and bathrooms. The trail is beautiful especially with the high water this season.

Back again to Kayak. Saw Manatees, owl, raccoon, eagle, vultures, egrets, cranes crocodiles and turtles. Perfect 3 hours out and back.

Excellent spot to kayak - very peaceful, some shade, little if any current. Unspoiled nature.

Definitely a gem. Only one other person was here when we were, absolutely beautiful, although rustic place.

This is one of my favorite places for paddling. Quiet and sheltered Haw Creek is easily accessed via Russell Laning.

Beautiful one mile round trip boardwalk through shady hammock. Lots of wildlife - owls, squirrels, birds, gators. Considerable plant diversity. Very pristine. True old Florida at its best.

Excellent board walk for walking trail. The kayaking is great too. Birds, a few alligators, and lots of turtles. There is much more shade if you paddle west.

Beautiful place to have a picnic or just go for a walk. Has a boat dock and fishing area. Public restrooms and picnic shelter. Long, wooden walking path with 5 branches leading to a deck with benches. Trashcans along the path to dispose of trash and pet waste. If you love Florida's Marsh Scenery, this is a great place.

Great place, elevated decking thru the woodlands. Easy for wheelchair, easy walk, very serene. Trail about 1 mile long to a campground site with nice overlooks along the way to haw creek. Also a nice wooded sand road to the site.
