This review is for the main dining room, not the hotel. My husband and I celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary here last night. Everything was perfect! The wait staff was attentive without "hovering." The space is lovely and quiet, with just some ambient piano music from the bar in the other room. The food was absolutely delicious! Extra touches such as a finger bowl and chocolates were nice surprises. We plan on coming back at least once a month for extra special date nights!

Wonderful Inn on 14 acres. Rooms are large, and we have a fireplace. There is a patio on the front of our suite as well as back. The grounds are wonderful and pristine.

This was one of my favorite hotel experiences in recent memory. Arizona Inn is not what you would expect when thinking of Tucson, and I mean that in the best way possible.

As soon as you walk through the doors, consider yourself taken care of. They get so many little details right to make you feel at home, from the front desk service to the switch-activated fireplace right in your room.

The decor: Classic.
The amenities: Classy.
The staff: Class.

I would come back to Tuscon just to stay here again, and would strongly encourage anybody whose looking for lodging in this town to try Arizona Inn and fall in love with it for themselves.

Thank you again for the awesome two nights, Arizona Inn!

Lovely and luxurious. The AZ Inn is special, and feels -- in the best way -- like it is frozen in time. Everything exudes classiness. If you get the opportunity to stay here, it will be memorable.

This is my first visit to Tucson and also the Inn. What a gem. Our suite was classy and everything I’d hoped it would be. Classic elegance from a slice of time worth recalling. We will definitely return to this beautiful desert retreat. The main dining was spectacular and the evening cocktails were the finest I have ever had…I don’t say that lightly…the Vieux Carre with side car was something from my dreams. Our entrees were gourmet delights, especially the Brussels sprouts with goat cheese pannacotta…just wonderful. I looked at other resorts around the area but my affluent local friend insisted I stay here and I’m so happy we did. Lastly, the staff were true professionals and so friendly. Thank you
Update: 10/11/23: As I said, in my review above, I booked their finest patio suite and I loved my first day…greeting and escorted by Lorin, a wonderful gentleman and the front desk staff were classy professionals …our room was a beautiful suite, and the grounds spectacularly landscaped; I was most looking forward to the classic pool and elegant dining. The pool and the main dining room lived up to its fine reputation. It was simply awesome. I wrote in my previous review that the dining room cocktails were superb, and their wine list was amazing and it was a treat to be pampered; wonderful dining sitting in classic dining room with fantastic staff, Lilly was our server and a true professional. Excited by my previous evening’s culinary experience, I returned the next day but the lunch menu had only three items (a turkey sandwich, tacos, and a burger) and the two women working tables also “acted” as bartenders but didn’t make proper cocktails; I ordered the exact cocktail that I had the evening before called a Vieux Carre, and it was awful, was served half full on the rocks in the wrong glass and no sidecar like the previous evening….I should’ve sent it back, but I was thirsty….so fast forward to Oct 10th, I went down to Mexico for a three day family event but couldn’t wait to come back to the Inn to have another fine dining experience after eating disgusting tourist food in Puerto Penasco. Sadly, the Inn main dining room is only open Thurs-Sunday but good news, they are serving dinner on the patio BUT it just happens to be the exact same disappointing lunch menu with only three choices and the same two women that can’t pour a correct cocktail. I was so depressed that I walked a mile to the nearest restaurant that was rated on TripAdvisor called the Kingfisher, an old school restaurant but better menu than tacos, burgers or a sandwich. I had planned to come back to Arizona Inn multiple times in the future but if the dining room isn’t going to be open, it’s not worth coming for me.
So, even with my critical words, I’m still giving it five stars because it is such a classic wonderful gem.

Had lunch there on the patio today. The food and drinks were great. Dining room is now open for dinner but you can get breakfast or lunch or drinks in their bar/ patio. Beautiful setting

A new discovery for me, and I look forward to returning to this wonderful property. This is a "you get it or you don't" place, and if you do "get it" then you get a lot. I was there for work in mid-August (yep - hot as hell) and the hotel was wonderfully empty and quiet. Incredible pool, immaculate grounds to wander, bar & restaurant on-tap. I loved my room (127), a favorite place I will remember for years with its outdoor patio, fireplace, sitting room, bar and tiled bathroom. Decidedly non-corporate, worn-in, and quirky the property exudes character befitting of a place founded in the 30's (amazing story). The library is a gem, as are the entire staff. Highly recommend.

A lovely and quaint historic inn providing a serene retreat. There was no loud noise when we stayed there. Rooms are casita-style spread over 14 acres of well- landscaped grounds. Rooms are well-appointed with quality, traditional furnishings. Amenities include a pool (heated in winter), sauna, fitness room, badminton, tennis, croquet, pingpong, and bicycles. There are 2 dining rooms, one is seasonal. Great place for a staycation.

What a treat. I'm new to Tucson and had the chance to attend a filmTucson talk and getting to see the Inn was an extra treat. What a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city 💝

I had lunch at the Arizona Inn with a group of lawyers … the Annual Meeting of the Pima County Bar Association.

As usual, the banquet room was immaculate, the grounds were immaculate, and the food was really, really good … especially when you consider it was ‘banquet food’ … meaning not made to order for each one of us.

I gave the “location” 4, partly, because I don’t know what Google means by ‘location’. If it means where the place is inside the City limits of Tucson, it is perfect if you have business at the University of Arizona. But, if you have business or pleasure up in Oro Valley, or over West in Marana, it’s not quite as perfect. Hence the ‘4’.

On the other hand if Google means “how is the location”? Then the Arizona Inn gets a 5, because it is always exquisite and well appointed. This time was no exception.

I gave it a “4” on “Service”, because there is no place in this review to rate the food. And, I would have given it a 5, except that the Arizona Inn, for all the wonderousness of its food preparations, has the worst Iced Tea in town. It doesn’t taste bad, it is just weak and tasteless, like drinking colored water. Maybe that is the way that ‘well-to-do’ people who frequent the Arizona Inn like it, but I like my Iced Tea to taste like tea.

All in all it’s a great place … I can’t rate the rooms, however, as I’ve never been inside one.

We went to the Arizona Inn to celebrate our anniversary. The main dining room is closed until next week, but we sat in the lounge. It was beautiful and they had a lady playing piano. We were able to order food from the main menu. I had their famous bacon cheese burger, and my wife had the pasta. They were both great. That may be one of the best burgers I've had.
The service was excellent. We'll be back again.

We really enjoyed our visit to their Arizona Inn. The property is so beautiful and well maintained. It really is a little oasis, so peaceful and inviting, makes you not want to leave. The staff was also wonderful at the Arizona Inn. We would like to mention that Jackson and Blanca really made the stay awesome. Friendly would not describe these two great people. Made sure that we were taken care of and for us they helped make it a home away from home. Thank you to all the staff at the Arizona Inn. Your collective efforts made this a beautiful getaway for our family. Blanca and Jackson; y’all are awesome. Thanks again from Texas.

Beautiful property. We had a very good lunch here. Great salads! A lot of history worth looking around at the pictures inside the Inn. We didn't stay here, just had lunch. We drove up from Green Valley AZ to eat here.

This is my second stay at the Inn…first time just for leisure. Historical hotel with so much charm. A special shoutout to the restaurant. Their food was really amazing. We had breakfast and dinner there multiple times and never had a bad meal. The chefs burger was absolutely the best burger I’ve ever eaten. All the staff was so nice and accommodating but special shout out to Rebecca who served us on the restaurant a couple times. She was fabulous

Take a step back in time, enjoy the flowering citrus and pink adobe, and imagine Tuscon before all the houses spread out. It's got a great pool, paths to wander and lawn games to play, an adequate restaurant, kind staff, and truly massive rooms (we had an adjoining suite). There's even a herd of javelina roaming the nearby streets at night. It's a bit away from the action of the city, but that can be a good thing. A great place to just relax. (My only complaint was frequent landscaping noise, but the grounds are extensive so I guess it takes time. Maybe one or 2 more crew?)
