Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing! Despite arriving late, security was incredibly kind and escorted us to our spacious and spotlessly clean room. The front desk staff were equally friendly and accommodating. The hotel's restaurant surpassed our expectations with delicious food. We're definitely planning to return for another stay in the future!

We were pleasantly surprised. It looked nice online and the place did not disappoint. When you enter the property it feels safe and serene. The stucco decor was great at blocking any city noise. Great room with high ceilings and we had a great fireplace. The only negative was the fitness center which felt like an afterthought, and had a very strong musty damp smell. Did not even attempt to use it because of the odor.

Such a lovely resort style hotel! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful grounds and delicious restaurant. Rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I want to say thank you to all the staff, especially Katelyn and management for accommodating me during a difficult time. I was there visiting my grandmother who is not well. Katelyn, booked a room up front for easy access in and out of property. My room was nice and comfy, staff was friendly and accommodating to my needs and schedule. It really is a beautifully well kept property, with lights, great for walks, and pet friendly. The complimentary breakfast wasn't just your standard hotel breakfast, the food was amazing and made with love! I look forward to returning there in the future on a happier note, thank you everyone!

It's my favorite place to stay while I'm in Tucson! I arrived at 4:30 am and they had my room waiting for me. Beautiful atmosphere and clean , amazing rooms. I feel safe and comfortable. I love their customer service, very friendly and professional. They also have an amazing breakfast included. I highly recommend this place!

This place is a hidden gem! It’s an old school revival mini resort and my family enjoyed our stay. Complimentary breakfast was better than most places and the bar and dinner service at Cielos was good. The rooms that were upgrades or spa deluxe rooms are the best. I had an issue with my door for my first basic king room and they upgraded me to a better room for the inconvenience. I wasn’t expecting the upgrade but it was very much appreciated. Also, my family and I arrived 2 hours early and they let us do an early check in. The outdoor pool and hot tub are wonderful. You will not regret staying here!

Beautiful place to stay. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Santa Catalina Mountains, the five-acre property provides the opportunity to experience the unique and genuine southwest charm. Its midtown location is centrally located and only minutes from many of Tucsons distinctive attractions, restaurants, shopping centers, and some of Arizonas most captivating National Parks and recreation areas. The Lodge on the Desert is kinda tucked away with a wall surrounding the entire property, providing more privacy. The Lodge offers a restaurant and bar where you can dine on contemporary, seasonal cuisine that pays tribute to the Southwest. Pool and hot tub, fitness center, laundry service, dog friendly with a pet fee per night.

We had a wonderful stay here. The front desk, cleaning, and event staff were all exceptionally pleasant and easy to work with. The facility is well maintained, and they are quick to fix any room issues. The restaurant (Cielo's) is excellent and convenient for us. We utilized one of the meeting rooms for dinners and the staff there worked hard to make it a special evening for everyone.

The location is also really great, and is centrally located to a lot of destinations we visited.

Thank you!!

Great hotel! We were so surprised to find such a beautiful hotel at a reasonable rate. The staff is very nice. The layout of the hotel is peaceful with nice paths throughout. The room was better than many upscale hotels. Our room was large with a gas fireplace.

Breakfast was included and was good.

If I had know the hotel was this nice, I would have stayed longer. I plan to be back and highly recommend staying here!

We had our wedding hotel block at Lodge on the Desert and it was a total dream! Gisela was one of the nicest people I have ever worked with and was caring, responsive and so kind as we were planning our wedding weekend for our several out of town guests. My now-husband and I stayed in the Casita Suite during our wedding weekend and it was nothing short of magical! All of the rooms at Lodge on the Desert were gorgeous and spacious and we loved getting to run into our wedding guests at the free breakfast (delicious!) and by the pool. We even ended up having our "first look" at Lodge on the Desert before going to our wedding venue and our pictures turned out so beautifully. This hotel is gorgeous and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you again Gisela and all!!

I have zero complaints about my stay here. My family and I enjoyed it. It was a clean as advertised room. I did not do the blacklight test but honestly I wasn't there for that kind of visit. My kids really enjoyed the pool even though a gentleman decided to cop an attitude because my child was too young according to him to be in the pool. There was a misunderstanding with pre payment but that's more of a me issue as opposed to them issue. Last thing I'll say is this hats off to the ladies working the front counter on Saturday. I'm not sure what it is about the older crowd. I.e. over 60 but chill out. I would have been a lot more abrasive had you spoken to me like that. Y'all need to understand that service sector employees don't get paid enough to put up with the perceived slight of not getting your breakfast vouchers. Grow up.

We spent three nights at the lodge while exploring the Tucson area. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and tidy. The included breakfast was a tasty way to start a day of exploring. Definitely recommend the lodge on the desert.

What a beautiful oasis in the middle of bustling Tucson. The walled adobe style cut all the noise from the street outside. I loved the casita style of the individual buildings. The only thing better than the rooms, was the great customer service. Even though they were fully booked, they(I think her name was Sheryl) found a way to accomodate a room change, when the second floor didn't work for a couple in their late 70,s. And thanks to Kaitlyn, we arranged a late check out since out flight wasn't until 5pm.

I really enjoyed our brief stay there.

The room was very nice and spacious and the beds were REALLY nice!

I slept like a baby and also enjoyed a nice dinner there with my wife.

Parking was also plentiful and it is nice to have a wall around the premises.

This place is amazing. Our room was clean and the best sleep I had in a long time. It did not even feel like we were staying in a hotel. It was so comfortable. In the morning we found a injured owl. Manager Michael came out and helped us and took the guy to safety. He was on his time and took the time out. This place is great. Wonderful food, great rooms and wonderful management.

Better than staying in any hotel. Best Chile Verde ever. Wonderful atmosphere. A must stay for us anytime we go through Tuscon from now on.

This is a gem in the heart of Tucson. You feel as if you are in the desert with the meticulously maintained flowers, plants, and cactus all over the property. The rooms are spotless and provide all of your needs. We stayed in a king-sized casita with a lovely bathroom and plenty of room for about $150 a night, and that included a delicious breakfast buffet in the on-site restaurant Cielo's. The breakfast has lots of offerings, including churro waffles, delicious fresh fruit, oatmeal with toppings, eggs, bacon, hash browns, and much more. We ate our first dinner at Cielo's, as well, and the food was outstanding with a happy hour menu, and a full restaurant menu. Everything we tried was stellar. This is a tremendous find.
