Taos Valley Lodge

This was our 1st time to Taos and had no idea where to stay. After reading reviews, I decided on this property. We opted for the updated room and it is very nice and super clean. The front desk help was more than accommodating and super friendly! The Espresso bar is a nice treat. Very trendy and a great Latte. I'd recommend this property to anyone coming to Taos.

We had an excellent stay!
The room was super clean, comfortable and we’ve been told that it was recently remodeled. They did a great job!
There is a coffee shop on site where we had great coffee and delicious in house made pastries. I couldn’t decide which one tasted better!
All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Exceptional service!
We will be back for sure!

The weather got extremely windy. We decided getting a room was better than staying in a roof top tent. Soooo
glad we picked Taos Valley Lodge. Milena went way out of her way to accommodate ALL our needs. The smoke alarm was beeping. She sent Nick to replace the battery...nice guy. We asked for a place to eat he recommended Guadalajara Grill. Very good food and everyone there was so nice.

We recently stayed as a team at the Taos Valley lodge for a high school tennis tournament in Taos. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were comfortable, spacious, clean, and well appointed. The extra large TV’’s were an extra bonus. The espresso bar fueled us for our tennis matches and we will definitely return on our next visit. Thank you Nic and Jelena for your exceptional service!

Hotel staff was very courteous and attentive. The newly-remodeled room was clean and modern. After a bad experience with another nearby hotel, this place seems like the best option in Taos!

Love the new deluxe rooms, very nice, modern and comfortable. They have recently remodeled the lobby as well and it is beautiful. The staff is supee friendly and helpful. The Espresso Bar is gorgeous!

Best in all of New Mexico!! Friendly staff, great room's , good location. We come and stay here when we travel to Taos. We will keep coming back to stay here every time we travel back and nowhere else. If you're looking for a great place to spend the night I recommend you stay here

We stood here 4 days. Rooms were beautiful and very spacious and clean. The girls at the front desk were very nice. Over all was a great stay and service. Will be coming back and would definitely recommends

I just happened upon this place and ended up staying for 3 days. I had my doubts when we first pulled in though since a sign out front indicated they were remodelling and where the temporary office was located. All of that work must have been occurring on the other side of the building, we were not early risers and still never heard anything at all. We were very lucky to get one of the not yet remodelled/updated rooms which was significantly cheaper (Taos is expensive lodging wise!) Our room was just fine, comfy bed, good TV, clean as a whistle. Not sure why a remodel/update would be needed, even the carpeting, paint and bathroom fixtures were fine.

This lodge has an outdoor patio with tables and chairs and a bar-like rail seating area with a great view of the mountains to the north which kind of glow at sunset, perfect for bringing your own sundowner drinks and snacks or maybe grabbing a coffee and pastry from the cafe indoors.

On the other side of the building is a picnic area with picnic tables and gas grills. We didn't use them, but they looked to be in great shape.

Best of all, the young woman who checked us in, and later extended our stay, was always so friendly and cheerful. Considering she was working from temporary digs in the cafe while the office was being remodeled, I really had to admire her persistent good spirits! I will definitely stay here again if I return to Taos!

My husband and I stopped in for a coffee after we checked out of our nightmare of a room at a different property. The service was so great that we decided to ask if they had any availability for that evening. We were able to check into a nice remodeled/updated room. Clean, comfy beds, quiet...it was just what we needed.

Great service, easily accessible and wonderful, friendly staff! I accidentally left my Apple Watch behind and the staff was honest enough to report it and kind enough to offer to ship it to me back home!

I travel a lot for business and always come back to Taos Valley Lodge when I’m in Taos. The staff is 5 🌟 and they go above and beyond for their guests. True hospitality is hard to find! And the coffee…. The Espresso Bar rocks!

We needed a last minute place to stay secondary to an allergic reaction at our prior housing. The service was too notch, the rooms were very clean, updated, and large. There was an air purifier in the room as well! We enjoyed our short stay here and would absolutely stay again. The espresso bar was a huge plus!

We found this beautiful hotel open about 1 o'clock in the morning! So Happy!! We were exhausted! Had a restful night. Very friendly. Clean. I believe it was Daniel that checked us in. And I apologize to the very nice young lady who got our coffee for us! Thank you! We will be back! Happy you were open at that time we were so tired and needed a place!!

Our stay at Taos Valley Lodge was WONDERFUL! The rooms were nice, the beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was amazing! We loved the coffee shop too. Thank you Taos Valley Lodge! We will for sure stay with you again!!

Loved staying here. The new Deluxe rooms were very clean. Smart TV was a great addition when everything closes early in town and you wanna lay back and watch your favorite Netflix show. The staff is super friendly! Front desk, coffee shop & housekeepers , everyone took such a good care of us. We would definitely come back!!

Excellent place to stay in New Mexico! Last stop on my trip through SouthWest and this one was definitely the best hotel so far.. I got my money’s worth… New Deluxe rooms were great, with comfortable beds, new AC, smart TV.
Super cute coffee shop on site and VERY friendly staff that takes such a good care of this property! 10/10

Accommodations: 4.9/5 rating. I had an amazing experience at the Taos Valley Lodge. The price was excellent given that it was only 30 mins away from Taos Ski Valley resorts. The rooms were very clean and had a modern design. The towels and toiletries were plentiful. The pillows and bed were comfortable. They had huge smart T.V.s and an air purifier. The room definitely exceeded my expectations for the reasonably priced booking.

Service: 5/5 rating. The service was absolutely excellent. I was greeted by a friendly host named Milena. She was very polite, friendly and professional. My late check-in was very quick and easy.

I recommend the Taos Valley Lodge to anyone looking for a reasonably priced stay with all the perks of staying at the Taos Valley Ski resort.
