Lambert’s was quite possibly my favorite dining experience. The atmosphere - dim lighting, cocktail jazz, Southwest style - was amazing, food was to die for, and service out of this world. I had the lamb shank and an old fashioned with their sourdough bread to start. My server was engaging and present, knew the menu well, and answered my questions so patiently. You gotta go.

Amazing restaurant in Taos! Staff was so friendly, food was delicious, atmosphere was perfect. Many vegetarian/vegan options available that were all unique and divine.

This was a very special, unique experience. The atmosphere is very intimate. The sections of the restaurant and very small and closed in. My partner and I didn't realize how upsclae this place was. You'll feel more comfortable if you dress really well..

We ordered the carrot bisque and roasted beet salad for starters. The bisque was spicy, but delicious! Beet salad was good.
Bread and butter with roasted garlic were fabulous!

As the main, my partner and I both shared the special scallop dish and Regal Crest Farms Chicken Breast. The food was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were fantastic. I would highly recommend both dishes.

Wish I could give more stars. They got us in on a Saturday night without a reservation and gave us an amazing table. Our server was wonderful and our food was beyond delicious. Their fillet and butter poached lobster tails are out of this world. The entire experience was so perfect that we made a reservation for the next night and ate there again only to have an even better experience because we tried more menu items. Romaine salad was like a much tastier Caesar and the seafood spaghetti is also a huge yes. This place is a MUST visit when in Taos, so call in advance to ensure you get a table!

I love Lambert’s! Our family eats at Lambert’s 3-4 times per year. The food, service and atmosphere is consistently excellent. Located in charming downtown Taos, NM, this restaurant has been a mainstay of fine dining for years. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available.

The restaurant uses local produce, meats, and fish from farmers and ranchers. The menu always offers wild game dishes. The menu is varied and there are always very interesting and creative dishes. Fresh seafood is also offered.

The bar offerings are very diverse. The service is always excellent.

They have a nice outdoor area to sit in which is what we went for. We started with the shishito peppers and bison relleno. Both were so delicious! We are gluten free, and they offer gluten free bread crisps they call “bird seed” in place of their homemade bread. They are delicious salty crisps you can top with butter. I really appreciate all the gluten free options. They offer many organic/natural wine varieties (labeled in green on the menu). The rib chop was cooked perfectly and delicious, and the employees were all kind and attentive.

Fantastic dinner. Alex's service was wonderful! Highlights were the lamb (thinly sliced, so tender), the tomato tart, and the garlic confit and smoked trout mousse bread accoutrements.

We had their Chile w Bison and it was Excellent! The steak was fantastic too, and a very nice great dressing caesar salad! Very nice ambiance and excellent service!

First time in Taos and we dined at Lamberts upon friends recommendation. The wonderful atmosphere, great food as well as our fav DuMol pinot was outstanding and the overall dining experience very memorable. The courses weren't rushed and the acoustics were so good, we could actually converse w/o competing with loud conversations and the music. Wait staff discrete, attentive and friendly...would definitely return!

Great food, service, and ambiance! We sat outside and enjoyed the romain salad, steak tartar, chicken, steak filet, and pasta dishes. They all were excellent. The strawberry rhubarb pie was perfectly sweet and sour combinationand delicious way to finish the meal. Ask for Joe for the waiter. He was so polite and responsive.

Highly recommend, they were incredibly nice and the food was amazing. Shoutout to Joe!
Expensive, but actually worth it!
Drinks were great too, including great mocktails!

Vegan options are limited on the menu, but they made some recommendations and it turned out great.

We love the bar upstairs (the treehouse). Local vibe, good service and yummy food. Loved the smoked trout deviled eggs. Elevated and unique menu items.

We made reservations a day in advance for an early dinner. Lambert’s was highly recommended to us by an Inn Keeper in Santa Fe so we decided to give them a try. I’m so glad we did! This was the best Filet Mignon of my life! It was so tender, moist and flavorful with a rich sauce and crispy onions. The corn chowder was too sweet and not very good so we’ll stick to other things on the menu in the future. And we will definitely eat here again next time we’re in the area! The only down side was how dark it is and that the tables we sat at were super close together and it was definitely awkward putting my butt in someone’s face as we tried to leave. The service was OK (there was room for improvement) and I’m giving them five stars when I should probably give four because the Filet Mignon can’t be beat.

This place warmed our our hearts! Great bar, warm cozy ambiance and fantastic food. Do not miss, but go early and get a reservation. Taos is an early town haha. Lovely steaks, etc.

First time there. Our waiter Joe was wonderful. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was very nice. We highly recommend you check it out.

We loved our experience at Lambert’s of Taos! The food and service were superb. Very quaint and pleasant. Their romain salad is probably the best I’ve ever had and the filet was perfection. Highly recommend this place

We arrived without reservations on a Monday and were seated in the bar area where we received excellent attention and service from our server, Danielle. Deb had a filet mignon done to her specifications which led to her satisfaction. I had a tartare small plate and a small plate truffle fries that we shared though it was so large it was almost hard to finish. Almost.

Dinner was followed by a desert called Bowl of Bliss. Warm gingerbread over caramelized apple slices, topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled with toffee syrup. Aptly named.

We’ve eaten at Lambert’s over the years and have always found it a great experience. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful way to enjoy dinner in Taos upstairs at the bar at Lambert's on Bent Street. Got the Roasted Squash with Chicken Breast with Southern style Black Eyed Peas. Fantastic flavors and high quality ingredients. Reliable, delicious and good service.
