Showboat's Drive by Pie

You don’t find too many places these days that specialize in making great pies, but Granby, Colorado has one. Worthy of a stop. While they may seem a bit pricey, it provided my wife and I a treat for four nights during our RV adventures near Granby. Don’t miss.

Dining should be an experience with real food. Sherry and her love of food showed through in the lasagna, fresh breads, pies, and cookies. Real food in the mountains isn’t cheap and wasn’t shipped frozen from hundreds of miles away. Ask Sherry what’s fresh or call ahead and enjoy!

Was in Ganby for vacation and saw this place while walking around. Sherry is the nicest person you'll ever meet. She is so personable and helpful. We ended up getting the Killer Apple Pie. It was really good! I like my pies to be a bit sweeter so I threw a little ice cream on top but my family enjoyed it just the way it was. Pie was $30 which I think for a home made pie is a fair.

Your mountain trip will not be complete without stopping in and rock out on some amazing pie! The best conversation with combined with consistently serving food full of awesomeness! Wooohooo!

Found this gem last year didn’t disappoint as working up there during that time.

This year drove by again still same cheerful lady AND this time she had some chocolate chip caramel cookies and Maine Blueberry Pie I’m now calling for Food Coma as damn again even after all the headaches of COVID and Inflation she still delivers.

Just wish she was closer them again I might be fat after 2wks of trying all the Pies

We got a mixed berry pie. Quick stop when in Granby and delicious, the crust is so unique. Cash only. Will definitely make a stop in the future.

I had a corporate event where I wanted a private chef to impress my clients for both dinner and breakfast the next day. Sherry did not disappoint. She made a meal for us at our lodge that was fit for a king. From the appetizers of brie & cherry jalapeno jam and a 6 meat charcuterie tray. Then we had a salad that Monet or van Gogh would have painted. It was so pretty I didn't want to eat it. Then for our main event, Prime Rib she had cooked for 2 days, shrimp scampi (huge prawns), Green Chili corn bread with honey thyme butter, that was to die for, scalloped potatoes, baby glazed carrots, and finally, the piece De resistance, Homemade Apple pie with locally sourced vanilla ice cream. My friends and clients were in awe. The breakfast the following day was equally as wonderful. If you are looking for a private chef to wow your group, look no further. Sherry and her staff, Jodi, were absolutely AMAZING!

Great place to drive up and get tasty hand crafted food - be sure to call ahead to find out the fresh specials and don't ask about cream pies!

Love Sherry and Drive By Pie! We had visited a few years ago and then over the summer. Sherry took care of us when we had an issue with our order and made sure we had a beautiful pie for this weekend. Even gave us candles when we said it was for a birthday :) Love supporting local business.

My boyfriend and I stopped by for a few slices of pie while visiting RMNP. We got 2 slices of blueberry pie and it was the best pie I have ever had! The fruit filling is plentiful, fresh and flavorful, the sweetness level is just right, and the crust perfectly flaky. It was so good that we picked up a chocolate pecan pie the next day for our drive back to Denver! We also loved our interactions with the owner, Sherry. She was friendly and upbeat, and even remembered us the next day. Highly recommend this place!

Stopped by on our way home from camping. We got the wild berry pie. It was amazing! Filling was tart yet sweet and the crust was perfection. Honestly I dont think I've had a homemade pie quite this delicious. Our family of three has already eaten half of it today. Not only was the pie great but Sherry was a delight! We will for sure be back for more.

We were passing through Granby this evening and spotted the sign for this business. We had to stop and check it out. I am so glad we stopped. First of all, Sherry is an absolute treasure. Super friendly and absolutely kind. Her apple pie was amazing. This is a must when in Granby. We will definitely stop in again.

We picked up our pie Thanksgiving Day around 10am. We used a gift certificate we got from a family member who loved the apple pie they got. She gave us a complimentary cinnamon raisin bread which was delicious. Mix berry pie was great, very fresh and sweet. We were short $5 but didn't have cash or check. She was very sweet, told us "oh don't worry about it. Life is short, enjoy your Thanksgiving". $35 a pie doesn't seem unreasonable to me considering your in a small mountain town. People have to make a loving up here too.

These are some of the best pies! A little pricey, but worth every penny. The cherry is delicious, made with fresh cherries and not too syrupy. Remember to bring cash - I only had enough to get a single slice the first time, but definitely plan to go back for more!

These are obviously home made pies and worth the money. There is a lot of filling in every pie that we have bought from this window. Backed to perfection. Firm crusts. Cooked fruit. Delicious warmed up with ice cream, whip cream or just for lunch. These are 10" and are only sold as whole pies. Cash or check only.

I can't say enough about Sherry and her amazing blueberry pie!!! I live down the hill and my boyfriend works in grand county. He was working on his 50th bday and she delivered the most amazing warm blueberry pie (his fav!). All the boys rabed about it! She really helped make his birthday special!!!

Highly recommend. My husband and Daughter loved the experience of seeing the emergency pie sign, driving down an alley to a little house with a drive up kitchen window. They chose apple pie and it was amazing.

Oh my! Sherry was so accommodating with my pie order - the take and bake apple pie turned out beautiful and delicious. I can’t wait to order the green chile apple pie, green chile cheese bread, and the smothered burritos soon. 🤗🙃!!!

We used showboat’s catering service for our wedding in April and wow the food was amazing! She even included a pie for us to share after getting married. 😊 It was so kind and thoughtful. Thank you!

Had a couple slices of the slice of the day (Apple when we were there) and it was outstanding. Tasted fresh and delicious. Service was friendly just like you hope when you go to a small, local place like this. We will definitely return when we are in Grand County.
