If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, look no further than this resort. Did a family staycation for Labor Day weekend and had the best time. The pool is fantastic for kids and adults alike (they have a swim up bar!) Everything you could need is on the property, but also close to lots of other restaurants if you’d like to venture out. We will definitely be coming back!

We really loved this place! The privacy, the views and the customer service was on point! The pools all looked amazing and clean! The breakfast buffet had a omelette bar that was delicious! We will definitely return!
Thank you for an amazing stay:)

Gorgeous hotel as expected. Very clean and lovely grounds. I enjoyed the plaques indicating the plant and animal life. Plenty of parking, but having to walk from the lot to the rooms may be challenging for some. Pool area was safely fenced off and great. Front desk at night seemed new - wasn't sure about breakfast vouchers (waiter at the restaurant got them for me the next day), and requested water to the room as I don't have my room serviced daily was forgotten. NOT big issues at all. Would definitely stay here again and bring the family next time!

I had a lovely experience at The Westin. The architecture here is stunning. The site and greenery is amazing, you get a perfect view of the mountains which makes you feel integrated into the landscape. This is my first time in Arizona and I felt very comfortable here.

The staff is very accommodating and welcoming. David Belcher, the outlet manager made sure me and my company were well taken care of, I greatly appreciated him. The pool here is amazing, they have a main pool, and an 18+ pool for adults for more relaxation.

There’s a few restaurants on site so you don’t need to go off site to get a bite to eat which is perfect. However, if you want to, there’s so many places in a 5mi radius of the resort.

My company got personal massages and a spa treatment, and absolutely loved their experience. There’s other activities on site like tennis and golfing!

Give this place a try i’m sure you’ll have a lovely and relaxing time!

This was a great stay. I visited Tucson for a church conference that was held at the Westin. Arthur helped me at check-in and went above and beyond with his service. He was patient, kind, welcoming (and cute too!) I asked if he had any rooms available on the top floor that were non-connecting and he took the time to search and find just the right room. I always sleep with a fan on because I like the sound and the air circulation, so I later returned to the front desk and asked Arthur for a fan thinking it was probably an odd request. Arthur said he would have the staff bring a fan to my room. I attended some conference events that day and when I returned to my room, the fan was set up and already turned on. That made my stay so much more comfortable.

The room was spacious and had a nice view view of the golf course and a partial mountain view. The balcony was spacious as well, although I didn’t spend much time out there due to the heat.

The pool area was amazing and such a treat at the end of a day filled with conference events. My favorites were the cold plunge pool with the waterfall, the water slide and the hot tubs. I also love that there are waiters who you can order food and drinks from and they bring it right to you at the pool.

Other reviews mentioned construction and some expressed dissatisfaction about it. I barely even noticed it as it was quite inconspicuous. Someone had to point it out to me. Maybe they put a pause on it for the conference, but it wasn’t a problem at all. I’m actually happy that Marriott cares about the upkeep of their property and are making the changes needed to keep it in good shape.

If I am ever in Tucson again, I will definitely stay at this resort and I highly recommend it.

Special room with quite a lot of do and explore in/near the hotel. Remember to bring your swim suite or you will regret not to go on the water slides a few times a day to cool down, especially during the hot seasons. Was here for a meeting; so never left the hotel the entire. The food is decent (at least those organizers chose) and reasonable bar service (although not any local beers available). The hotel is pretty big with multiple buildings; they do have golf carts to help guests to go from reception to their building if it's far away.
The hotel does provide shuttle to the nearby mall, even though it's a bit remote from everything else.. I did not have time to try any. Will definitely be back with family.

We did day pass for the pool. The pools were nice and they had a fun slide my son enjoyed. Nice view from inside while I worked from the restaurant area as well.

Absolutely amazing! My Husband and I try to come at least once a year! We came on my birthday weekend this year and they made us feel very special !! The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious!
Shoutout to David, Teddy, Kent, Jose and Donna, you’re all awesome! We can’t wait to come back!

Even with newer resorts in town, this gem will always be my favorite! Renovations by the main entrance will be finished this fall (2024). Staff are always friendly, rooms are always clean, with recent high winds the pools had a bit more leaves but staff keeps things in great shape.
We enjoyed our recent stay. And we enjoyed seeing the two huge owls that live on site! They have a favorite tree there. Look for the owl sign near the main lobby.

Great stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Pool is great. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Convenient location near restaurants and shops. Only disappointment was golf course was closed for a tournament - there are many other courses nearby but check ahead as they did not alert us it would be closed during our stay (they did offer to let us cancel which was appreciate). Nice gym and tennis courts. Good bar program.

The location is beautiful with views of the canyons, golf course, pools, and mountains.
The rooms are spacious, mostly clean, but not spotless. The shower only gets warm, not hot and there are a few mediocre things like tears in the blanket, but overall good accommodations.
The star of the show however is the service from David and his team which was second to none. He made me feel welcomed and important, even with 40,000 guests attending a golf tournament that weekend. It is something extraordinary to feel you’ve made a genuine friend when visiting a hotel/resort for a work event.
Thank you David, Reagan, and team for taking great care of me last week!

We stayed at the La Paloma resort and wanted to come out of our way to say how awesome the pool manager, David is. David is the nicest man and employee you will meet on the campus and will go out of his way to ensure you have a great time and have a smile on your face. 5 stars for David!

Love this place, have mostly stayed for business. Always good food and kind and accommodating people. The gym is very nice and the pool area is relaxing. I took a picture of the view from my room at sunrise.

Amazing pools, view and staff! The manager David was very accommodating and made it feel like we were the only guests there. They have huge pools, 3 jacuzzis, a cold plunge, and even a water slide all outdoors with a beautiful view. I’d recommend going in winter to avoid the crowds.

I hope they will get start offering a vegan meal option at the restaurant, we have 4 vegans in our crew and had to leave the resort for every meal. Otherwise, no complaints.

Gorgeous resort!! We had a wonderful experience! The view is spectacular and the grounds are impeccable. We swam a lot and there's about 5 pools. One has a great twisting water slide and it was fun!! One has a walk up bar. 3 hot tubs very nice! This is a beautiful place!

Overall, it was a good experience. They really take care of their guests. The bellhops were extremely helpful, shuttling us and our luggage by golf cart, since it was a long walk from the parking to the room. Make sure you bring cash along to tip those hardworking bellhops!!

Beautiful grounds and exceptional views!!

Our only complaint was that our room had HVAC dust all over the top of the shelving unit that held the fridge, coffee maker, and ice bucket. It looked like they replaced the AC filter (on the ceiling) but neglected to clean up after themselves. I would have expected better.

We recently visited Tucson for the first time for pleasure and stayed at the Westin La Paloma Resort and spa. I traveled a fair amount thru out the year for work and pleasure. This particular trip was intended to relax and recoup for the busy work year ahead. We brought our golf clubs w the intentioned to golf at the resort but not knowing there was a senior golf tournament that was being hosted there. This is their first time hosting this event so chaos was expected. Eventhough I was not able to golf during our stay but the pool manager David Belcher came to the rescued. He greeted us w a heart felt welcome and after a short conversation, David felt bad about us not able to golf and appologize sincerely and went out of his way to make sure all of our needs are met. We can tell David was short staff, like all industries currently but we didn’t even notice because he was doing ever needed to be done himself. He was serving food, getting drinks and running around like a busy bee. Overall the resort is nice but the service we got from David was over the top!!! I would return to this location just because of Davis Belcher. Thks again David for making our less the ideal visit due to golf tournament a memorable experience at the Westin La Paloma Spa & Resort. Had a great trip at La Paloma Resort this weekend. The room was nicely furnished, very comfortable bed and balcony overlooking the city. Spent all day at the pool, hut tub, water slide, and Dead Sea mineral plunge pool. We had top of the line service from the driver who gave us a lift to our rooms upon arrival, to the manager David who checked on us throughout the day to ensure we were accommodated during our stay and really made us feel like his guests. The best part was the view of the sun set pink glow across the Catalina Mountains from the northern steps of the Azul Café. Would recommend and will be back. Hoping to see some vegan diet options to the menus next time.
