Veterans Park

Great clean playground. Not too big, but very nice to be able to see the kids wherever they were playing. Good distance from the road allows for some peace of mind with children's safety. I did not venture onto the walking path, but it looked very nice from the playground.

Smaller park but recently rebuilt and has what looks like a great playground. There is a walking trail but it isn't very long. That's why I went and I won't go back because there are lots of other trails around.

It's a nice park plenty of room and things for the kiddos to do😉. Clean restroom. Picnic areas. Nice pond to feed the duckies. The plane's are awesome to see. Come on out is hot stay hydrated.

They have totally redone this park all new playground very fun my kids loved it!

My son loves the veterans park it's small but a lot of kids go there. People walked there dogs and even rode their bikes.

This park is awesome for kids to get an adventurous time !!

It’s beautiful out there and peaceful and every time I go I see the ducks and just love it

Great place to get away very peaceful and has something for everyone, playground, Creek, restroom, picnic shelter, electricity so you can charge your phone etc., walking trail, plenty of parking spaces,it even has a war jet

Great park, right next to my grandma's house. Hopefully they can get it cleaned up again after Mike came thru!

Great little public park with walking areas, playground, and places to sit and just relax

Such a beautiful, well maintained park. Very relaxing aside from the random homeless persons.

This is a beautiful little park with men and women's handicap accessible bathrooms, playground, and covered picnic tables. I have taken some beautiful pics here. The little stream that "runs" by it, tends to stink because the stream is actually more like stagnant rain runoff. It's a good thing that pictures don't capture the smell. Nice little Park

I Awesome good place to eat

Love this little walking water park. It's track is 1/5 of a mile with deck's placed sporadically out over the water and a small cusp of tree's on the waters edge.

Although small and quiet, it is a great place to power walk, jog, or cycle. It has a paved path, a small play area, covered tables, restrooms, and doggie bags in case your exercise companion needs to go! 🐶💩
They have events at the park especially on Veterans Day.
However, as of the emergence of Hurricane Michael the park has been decimated. Sorry😞

Thank God for a country under thee and our veterans everywhere. Thank you for a park which is equipted for children to meet and have fun, learn, an see water wild life. Veterans Park is all new under a US jet. Can you find Rosy? Can you? Happr hunting kiddos.😉

I love this park there's water with turtles fish little wildlife all in a small stream plus the playground bathrooms picnic tables under a gazebo and a jogging trail. It's quite most of the time and always kids can play without the worry of other children being so packed in that they all run each other over or hurt one another... The kids have a blast and so do I... Its one of my favorite park's town and especially early in am or right before dusck because of all the wildlife and sounds of nature... The animals like ducks, squirrels, birds, and turtles will as almost come directly up you to play... more-so if you catch them hungry. Just beautiful. The park overlooks the bay and is so well kept and designed. Very nice memorial.

Pretty cool with a real fighter jet and air force themed great place !!
