Golden Gate University

This is the University I graduated from years ago. It’s a great Institution for information and learning. It has an excellent environment for individual growth and stimulation.

It changed my life in a whole lot of ways. I recommend it to young professionals and students who want to apply for higher education.

Being an alumnus of this University is an honor and a privilege.

The school is specifically for people who are very focus in being a CPA or lawyer. I came from a huge big school that has its own highway inside the campus to a small boutique school that has almost nothing. But this is where it counts, right in the middle of the financial district. Going to class is like going to work, carrying a suitcase (at least at that time). No partying. Only studying. If you want to have a good time for being young, then go somewhere else. If you want to be a CPA and lawyer, this is the place.

A little bit pricey but totally worth it. I took two courses here during my graduate study. I loved my Prof so does the 6-15 ppl small size class. It is not as overwhelming at as many other schools. I got plenty of attention from my Prof, teaching assistant, and guest speakers. 4.5 star!

I am a recent grad from U.C. Berkeley. As an older "returning" student, it became apparent, quickly, that Cal Berkeley was not interested in my academic future and made it very clear that I was not the type they were looking for regarding graduate programs. I reached out to GGU's faculty and staff, looking for a good fit, and professional treatment by educators who were interested in me and my future. I have been Very pleased with and appreciative of the time, energy, helpfulness, and professionalism I have received at this school. Highly recommend.

The LL.M. in Tax program is outstanding for lawyers wishing to specialize in tax litigation, estate planning, probate, or business taxation. Faculty is superb and facilities are very good. Location is ideal, especially since the Transbay Terminal is being built on the other side of Mission. Might launch an LL.M. in Estate Planning. The LL.M in tax cost me just under $35K all-in and I completed it in 16 months

Excellent school. I enjoyed my time here and received a great education. And, as someone else stated, this school is very business oriented- that's what I loved most about it.

Professors who are well trained, good and professionals! You can find a lot of free facilities for your education, so i love this school ever!!

I completed my doctorate at GGU and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. I was first drawn to the program because it was the only fully-accredited doctorate in finance in the Bay Area that could be pursued part-time by someone who also had a career. The experience proved to be so much more than that, however.. The full-time faculty who run the program are passionate about what they do, offering students the opportunity to engage in significant personal growth and deep learning. The faculty are also well suited to GGU's mission, combining, as they do, first class academic credentials with significant leadership experience in the "real world."

There are two distinct phases to doctoral study and GGU's program delivers the best of both. The first phase is focused on core doctoral seminars that provide the tools and conceptual framework for understanding and conducting formal research. It was here that I came to fully appreciate the nature of the academic enterprise and begin to master the tools and techniques for its pursuit.

The second phase involves the development of a research question that will result (if you're sufficiently diligent) in the production of a formal dissertation. This is the apprenticeship phase, where you work closely with your dissertation committee and, most especially, your chair. My own committee chair, Paul Fouts, was at once both guide and mentor, sending me back again-and-again to reexamine my sources, rewrite my proposals, and revisit the evidence. Each time, my dissertation got better. In the end, I was able to produce work that I believe will have a real impact on my profession.

The doctoral program is probably the smallest part of what GGU does, but it represents the best of the University's mission and values. Beyond that, I can heartily recommend GGU to anyone who seeks to improve their skills and advance their career through any any of the University's many degree and certificate programs.

The basement floor inculds both indoor and outdoor spaces which is a good place for the international and local students to meet up people as a coffee shop.

Excellent Psychology and Management Courses. High quality faculty. Applicable and business oriented.

I haven't been to it my self but I checked it out threw word of mouth and Google.
