My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely perfect. What a gem ! The food was incredible, the service was so stellar and friendly and fun. Chef Neil is the best and he loves what he does. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu . We had the mushroom tapas, the soup, the Chilean sea bass , the seafood paella and the special almond croissant desert was out of the world. I highly recommend the soup . And they even carry an alcohol free beer which I greatly appreciate

Great expensive restaurant. We loved this place and can't wait to return. The food and service was amazing. A little hard to find but well worth the effort.

This place is amazing but not cheap. Highly recommend.

ETA: the churros were awesome, the souffle was perfect on the outside but a little runny on the inside. Some people like it like that. Overall dessert was great. We ended with a complimentary pour of Licor 43!!! Yummmm, what a treat.

AMAZING!!! Don't even think about it, just GO! Everything is perfect!!! Best Spanish version of the French onion soup, seafood paella, steak tenderloin with saffron rice, kids steak and chips and house wine. Not to mention the staff is super accommodating of our wet snow suits and the snow we trailed in as we walked in through the blizzard. The table came with yum olive oil, crusty bread and mixed olives - for free 🙂.
It is a little tricky to find if you're following Google Maps. Just park in the free covered parking lot and then walk towards the back of the complex.
I'm writing this review as we are waiting for our chocolate souffle (15 min lead time) and churros!!!

Didn’t expect that level of dining in a ski town. Tapas were a generous size and set the tone for what was to come. Everything the table order was delicious. Service was excellent too. Can’t wait to be back on another trip.

Dude you guys need to go here but not too many of you cuz I intend to be back. Savannah is a 10/10 server!! We love chef Neil! Omg the food was spectacular. 5 of us went, we’re all former restaurant industry and very much into great food. Everything was exquisitely executed.

The tuna tataki was fire!! Wow. That sauce. Honey honey.

The patatas bravas were yum always.

The rioja was divine!

My tenderloin medallions (the spicy dish with the pepper next to it) was ex-cell-ent omfg. Excellent! The best steak. So tender so juicy perfectly seasoned wow. Loved the saffron rice and asaparagus too.

The Tempranillo was good, with a bit of sitting even better. The churros were enjoyed by all, though mine was cold in the middle. But the chocolate suffle holy hell that was fantastic you guys.

My mil loved her truffle mushroom soup and my taster was so tasty I would love to eat more of that.

The vibe, the music, the staff, the whole experience was 12/10 end to end. Thank you Paella crew!!

Definitely try this place and enjoy!!!

This wins the best meal of the month award for being decadent and everything perfectly paired with our dishes. The chef is very humble and came out to meet us and tell us about Spanish cuisine. Presentation is top notch! Don’t expect a big paella skillet but do expect subtle dish cooked to perfection. Expect to pay in the $$ range but it’s well worth it!

My husband and I loved this restaurant. They were fairly busy when we went but we were seated immediately and attended to. Our food came out within minutes, exceptionally fast. And the staff is so nice and really make you feel important. We were treated like VIPs. We love to try new places when traveling and we have never had better service anywhere. It was phenomenal. On to the food: also amazingly good and authentic Spanish cuisine. We had the ceviche which was so delicious and probably our favorite. We also got the scallops appetizer and it was very fresh and tasty. For our main course, my husband and I shared the Lomito Paella, which is angus tenderloins with rice and asparagus. It was cooked to perfection, exactly how we requested. We had the flan for desert but I forgot to get a picture because we ate it so fast. Hands down would recommend eating here when in or near Winter Park. You won’t regret it. For our 2 appetizers, 2 cocktails, and main course our bill was around $115, which is also very well priced for what you get.

Update: we ate here 3 nights in a row. The food is so good and service so excellent that we didn’t want to eat anywhere else. We got the lamb chops twice and it is heaven on a plate. We also got the other steak meal (with potatoes and fried leeks) at the recommendation of our server and thought it was excellent.

What an incredible experience! Thank you Neil and your wonderful team. It feels like your dining at secret Spanish hideaway in Winter Park. A family owned gem. Tasty food and delicious cocktails. EVERYTHING IS SO YUMMY. Hospitality was on point and the cozy patio in summertime was a great vibe!

Paellas Restaurant is amazing. Small selection but high quality entrees and taipas too. We had assortment appetizer, lamb chops, sea bass filet and flan. All the best eats. My flan conisour gave that dessert 2 thumbs up.

We read the other reviews and had non bottled water so our bill was reasonable. Just ask for tap water.

This is definitely 5 stars. The food and service here are fantastic and the drinks are fantastic too! The ambiance is romantic and comfortable. I took my wife for our anniversary. I started with a Margarita and my wife had a Spanish drink called Caipirina. Both were great. They bring warm bread with olive oil and pepper and a bowl of olives in olive oil. I had the most amazing Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had the Paella de Mariscos. We both loved our dishes. The Sea Bass was buttery and cooked to perfection. We then had a Pina Colorado which was delicious and the fresh mint blended in the drink was delicious. The Chef came by to check on us and also offered a shot on the house of a Spanish liquor that tasted spicy and warm. We finished with Flan which was hearty and delicious. Our waiter was excellent and the entire staff was very helpful. We had a great experience! Highly recommend!

The food, service, and the atmosphere were fabulous. Chef Neil is passionate about his ingredients, using only fresh Colorado mushrooms grown locally. The Sea bass and the paella were incredible and highly recommended. Pair that with a nice selection of Spanish wines and the meal will be unforgettable. Paella is a hidden gem in Winter Park.

Truly a hidden gem. The food is always impressive and the service is attentive. My husband and I came here two years ago during our honeymoon, and though this visit we were staying over an hour away, we decided it would be worth it to come back.
The food was even better than we remembered: we ordered the Chilean sea bass with saffron rice and asparagus and the cream of mushroom soup. It was amazing!

Had a wonderful experience here with my partner celebrating our anniversary. They made sure to make our table extra special with rose petals, it was beautiful. The food is delicious and I recommend trying the specials because they really shined. The passion the chef has really came through. Plus the service was amazing. Would totally recommend for a romantic dinner

The best place to eat in Winter Park! The Chilean sea bass with black truffles, saffron rice, and grilled asparagus was perfect! Not one thing needs to be changed. The service was impeccable. Attentive but not hovering. We ate in the outdoor seating area and it was so relaxing we hated to leave. I cannot recommend Paellas enough!

Yes, it's a five out of five for sure! Both our appetizers and main courses are just delicious, so are the drinks. We tried seared scallops - made me drooling just by smelling it, sweet and tender; toasted bread with tomato sauce and balsamic vinegar - crispy and appetizing; seabass with truffle - perfect sear, fresh and juicy; seafood paelle - surprising amount of seafood, aromatic and fulfilling. Oh, and the sangria, such rich fruity flavor, loved it! A must try if you are in Winter Park.

Both the pork loin in a mild blue cheese sauce and the steak special were the best dishes I’ve had in years. The service was beyond friendly and attentive, imo the best fine dining in Winter Park!
