Always a beautiful experience! Had fun hiking. Even with the water levels down, still enough water to kayak

We we’re staying not far the park and decided to visit for a short drive around the park. So glad we did. Very beautiful. Really nice camping areas.

This park is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back after our 3 night stay at Sandy Beach Dune. Our spot was right on the water but since the water level is lower this year the beach activities were further away. Be aware spots near the shore lines have a ton of ants. They do not bite you but are on everything and everywhere. The beach was absolutely clean and the views were incredible.

So much better than just going to Horsetooth where it's constantly crowded and there's never reservations. Very beautiful lake with amazing, clean camping. I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic area. Love Two Moons Campground, situated on a bluff in trees above the lake. The electric sites are away from the bluff but easy walking distance. The other sites are incredible.

Excellent park, highly recommend. Stayed in Reno Cove Campground, site no. 21 which is close to the boat ramp on the southwest part of the park. Two nights mid-week during late August. I loved the site. The park was not very busy probably due to it being the middle of the week but I felt very secluded and am not sure I would have been able to see my neighbors if I had any. I like to kayak and having access to the nearby boat ramp to access the lake was nice because the lake is so low that there are not many places to access the lake otherwise (at least not in the area I was in). Bathrooms were well kept. Drinking water was nearby and clean. Will definitely come back.

The most scenic state park I've ever been to out of all the states I've visited. Photos do not do it justice. Wyoming has definitely left a beautiful impression upon us. Awesome campsites, although we wish more of them had power hookups available. Lots to see and do here! If we return to Wyoming we will definitely visit this park again! Highly recommend!

Glendo is a shockingly beautiful oasis in the high desert and is easily accessible via i25. The scenery and lake are gorgeous and the campsite we stayed at had a great, sandy beach, well thought out sites and clean toilets. There are miles and miles of hiking/biking trails and there's excellent variety of terrain in the park - high-plains scrubland, wetlands, sandy beaches, red sandstone canyons, pine forests, etc. We took kayaks out on the water and found a private beach of our own to spend the afternoon at. If you like the water and beach aspect of Lake McConaughey but want smaller crowds and more things to do, check out Glendo.

A warm swimming hole in Wyoming! There are lots of activities from epic mountain biking to warm water sports, but we were here for a sandy beach and warm water swimming. We went towards the end ofJuly, and the water wasn't just swimmable, it was legit warm. There are signs leading you to the sandy beach, about a twenty minute drive from the entrance to the park. There are multiple restrooms, campgrounds, grills, and picnic tables at the sandy beach, but they are not well maintained. I should take off a star or two for that, but it's just about the only warm water swimming area for hundreds of miles around, so I'll still give it a huge thumps up for that.

We stayed in a yurt in late March. The park is lovely and so much fun. The yurts are cold. Prepare for cold weather but otherwise it was a great time.

Major slick and the Motorhome sliding off the Road. Thanks to Lee's towing. It took two Dodge SS to pull the Ford out. The park ranger took me to a hard surface spot for the night.

Pretty good park. The camp host Howard at Whiskey Gultch was very friendly and gave us new campers a lot of useful information.

We absolutely love Glendo State Park. Beautiful lake with picturesque campsites . Sunsets we're amazing from the Two Moons campsite. Great singletrack MTB trails with lots of options depending on skill levels. The Sandy Dune Beach is a great place to soak in the sun and it has a great little cove that is perfect for paddle boarding.

This has become one of my favorite places to camp in late June / July. Sandy beaches with volleyball games, dune buggies and hundreds of social people meeting old and new friends for jet ski, boating and more off the beach.

Love the new owners. The Marina has anything you forgot and more.

Make reservations 3 months in advance for a chance during peak season.

It's off exit 111 on I25 in Glendo, Wyoming.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Glendo State Park for a day trip, and I must say it was an absolute delight. Nestled in the heart of nature, this park offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My primary intention was to enjoy a peaceful picnic by the shore, and Glendo State Park exceeded my expectations in every way.

As I arrived at the park, I was immediately struck by the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. Towering trees, rolling hills, and the shimmering waters of the lake created a picturesque backdrop that set the stage for a perfect day out. The park's well-maintained pathways and signage made it easy to navigate, ensuring that I could focus on immersing myself in the natural splendor around me.

After finding an ideal spot to set up my picnic, I took a moment to breathe in the fresh air and listen to the sounds of nature. The calmness of the lake and the distant calls of birds instantly put me at ease, allowing me to unwind and relax in this tranquil oasis. I couldn't help but be grateful for the opportunity to escape into such a peaceful setting. The picnic facilities at Glendo State Park were top-notch. Ample picnic tables and benches were scattered throughout the area, offering comfortable seating for visitors. The shaded areas provided respite from the sun, making it a pleasant place to spend a leisurely afternoon. The park's cleanliness and well-maintained grounds added to the overall positive experience.

Of course, the highlight of my day was the picturesque shoreline that stretched out before me. The sandy beach, bordered by the crystal-clear waters of the lake, was a sight to behold. I couldn't resist taking out my camera to capture the natural beauty that surrounded me. The reflections of the sun on the water created a mesmerizing display, and I found myself lost in the moment as I photographed the enchanting landscape.

Glendo State Park also offers a range of recreational activities for those seeking adventure. Boating, fishing, hiking, and camping opportunities abound, ensuring that visitors of all interests can find something to enjoy. While I primarily focused on my picnic and photography, it was wonderful to see families and friends engaging in various activities and making lasting memories.

Overall, my experience as a day visitor to Glendo State Park was truly memorable. The park's stunning natural beauty, peaceful ambiance, and well-maintained facilities made it an idyllic setting for a picnic and
photography. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or an active outdoor adventure, Glendo State Park offers something for everyone. I highly recommend paying a visit to this hidden gem and immersing yourself in the tranquility of nature.

Beautiful red rocks and the views were quite breathtaking as compared to the surrounding environment. Would highly recommend visiting and doing a little hiking. The lake itself is gorgeous and would make great wakeboarding!

Great park. Stopped for one night on the way though Wyoming. Very quite. Good star gazing. Camping fees double if you are not from Wyoming.
