Wonderful experience staying here for 2 nights during a ski trip to Taos. The room was very comfortable and cozy, with southwestern charm. The breakfast and coffee were easy and hit the spot. I wish breakfast was served a bit earlier than 8am. 7:30 would have been better for those of us needing to leave to get to the mountain in time for opening. The hot tub was nice and hot and easy to access. I wish I had been staying here longer.

We also stayed during the Covid. Our stay was from Christmas to New Years. The food was very good. Roger, Albina, and the entire staff saw to it that we were well taken care of. Although a lot of the local places were completely closed down, this place did everything they could to make you feel comfortable and welcome. We too had breakfast brought to our door each morning. The homemade apricot jelly was awesome. These folks are just down to earth and as accommodating as you could want. We hope to go back once things get back to normal but it may be a bit more hectic and not so laid back as although we got snow almost daily, Angel-fire was the place to be but it was still very busy so we had it made by staying in this quaint & quiet retreat.
Thank you to everyone at Blue Sky!!

What a beautiful oasis just minutes from town. The beds were extremely comfortable with the most amazing pillows. Breakfasts were homemade and delicious. Easy walking distance into the nearby foothills. My sister and I enjoyed the mountain breezes while sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine. Peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful Taos style vibe. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

This place is very charming and has a homemade breakfast with homemade apricot jam from the trees on the property. The room was clean and the hotel has easy access to town. Any small issues we had were very quickly addressed and remedied. It’s a family owned place with a very family feel. It’s not fancy or formal but it’s cozy, clean, charming and authentic. I will definitely stay there again!

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! First off, I had three little kids, two big kids, and my husband and I, there was room for all of us in their family room! Their pool was wonderful, they have a slack line and a swing. Fruit trees cover their property too! This place is Very relaxing and family friendly to boot! There are toys in the heated pool area, books, games, and dvds in a little library area. The breakfast was better than you could get at any restaurant, not to mention a hotel. The woman who cooks there is a GODDESS in the kitchen and is so nice. She made homemade muffins with apricots from the trees outside with apricot jam to go with it! There was perfectly seasoned and crispy potatoes, vegetable quiche, sausage, egg and cheese burritos, fresh salsa, granola with all the toppings, vegan yoghurt and regular yoghurt, fresh cut watermelon, hot tea, coffee, water. All fresh, not frozen and typical, but made there with love. The beds were SO comfortable and there was 3 fans in our room! Also it was spotlessly clean! I’m so impressed and will stay here every time I come to Taos from now on.

After a very bad morning and afternoon, we needed this place! Our room is perfect, exactly as pictured online. There is a wonderful little path on the grounds, meditation inspired. The main building is lovely.
Room 11 is dog friendly, and my dogs approve!

One note - if you are coming with your camper in tow, parking is going to be a real pain. We decided we needed a nice stop after camping for a week and a half, tomorrow we will have to figure out how to get out!!

If you're looking for a peaceful place to relax, find your center and have the most magical experience with beautiful views of the mountains, yoga in an authentic yurt, and cold plunging, with easy access to hiking trails and hot springs, look no further.
The Blue Sky Retreat Center is set in the majestic mountains of Taos. The energy in this location is so powerful and life-changing. The rooms are cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I had an amazing time at my retreat 2 weeks ago. Albina and Marina are amazing hosts. At this particular retreat, we were doing a detox cleanse so food was limited to fruits and veggies but every day, we had fresh fruit available and the roasted veggies were so tasty.
I hear that when others are not detoxing, the food offered is delicious. I'm not going to lie, I smelled oatmeal for breakfast one morning and it smelled divine.

The room was comfortable. The food was DELICIOUS! The stars are SO bright at night! It's right on the edge of Taos and 30 minutes or less from any of the FUN things you can do. The fireplace is wonderful! I am bummed so much of the extras were closed due to COVID, but they bring your food to your door, which is amazing. It is a little strange not to have a microwave, but not a deal breaker. The owner/ staff are lovely people and the beds are Comfy!

The building its self is amazing, very fun to explore. The grounds were beautiful and there was a nice path to walk along. The room was clean and spacious. Did not use the pool but it looked very nice. Marina was the best!! Her breakfast was on another level and the handmade jam was top notch.

My stay at the Blue Sky Retreat was nothing short of spectacular! Marina and Albina were so incredibly welcoming and are such inspiring, charming people. I was able to let go of worries and fully relax during my time here. Marina is such a talented chef and I looked forward to each meal. Even our to go sandwiches were awesome! Albina clearly lives her yoga and greets each guest with such warmth and love. The setting felt remote even though we were just minutes from downtown Taos. I enjoyed watching a Lewis's woodpecker at a tree outside the yurt before yoga in the mornings. I would definitely stay at Blue Sky again for a retreat or even just a weekend get away.

Very easy to book, our room was upgraded and the place was so perfect we extended our stay! Such accommodating hosts and the breakfast will be sorely missed! They are very Covid safe. It is a historic property so there are a couple quirks but a terrific value and I would recommend!

My family had an amazing time at the Blue Sky Retreat. The rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and a great way to start the day. The pool was very nice. We had a campfire a couple of nights. The location is off the beaten path and therefore a relaxing place to unwind.

There are tons of things to do in the area; hot Springs, hiking, horseback riding, cool towns to explore.

Albina and Roger were wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back again.

Second time to stay at this awesome place! Roger and Albina have made sure this place is beautiful, peaceful and serene. I was able to bring my daughter and her son with me this time. He loved the Labyrinth and pool! We loved the breakfast and the staff made us feel right at home!! King bed was amazing and just as comfortable as I remembered, and perfect for a good night's sleep before a long drive home to Texas!
If you're looking for a peaceful, quaint and beautiful place to stay while in Taos, look no further than Blue Sky Retreat!!! We will definitely be back!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Blue Sky Retreat for a few nights and it was amazing. The lodge has lovely grounds to walk, complete with amazing views. Albina brings her mom's delicious home cooked breakfast with coffee every morning. It would be a great place to chill after a day of skiing as well as an awesome place to have a yoga retreat or something like that. 10/10 would lodge again

This place is absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. Hot breakfast with great fresh coffee in the morning, a beautiful garden with trees, benches and a hammock for laying around. Convenient location 4 minutes from Taos, 4 minutes from great hiking like the Devisadero Trail, 45 minutes from Taos Ski Valley and the Wheeler Peak Trail.

Albina is a great host, who responded in less than a minute every time we contacted her. She really aims to please. And the Apricot Jam was delicious!

No AC in the rooms, but we did ok with the open window and the fan.

We came to Blue Sky Retreat Center for a yoga retreat. It was amazing! The lodge and grounds were beautiful and Albina was so welcoming. We practiced yoga in an authentic yurt, had cocktails by the pool, and are wonderful home cooked meals. I highly recommend this B&B. Such an amazing experience.

Blue Sky Retreat Center is warm and cozy. We highly enjoyed our stay at the quiet and quaint Blue Sky bed and breakfast. Our room was really nice with a fireplace and oversized shower. We had a king size bed that was super comfortable and the sheets were soft. Marina one of the owners made us a fresh breakfast each morning, her egg frittata was phenomenal and so were the potatoes, squash bites, and sliced fruit. My boyfriend loved Blue Skys daily coffee and tea selection. Make sure to take a dip in the pool and hot tub and walk the labyrinth out front. This place is a gem in Taos! Thanks, Blue Sky for a great weekend!

We just returned from 6 days at Blue Sky Restort. We had 21 family members all together. Each person was accomadated to their specific needs; one had a dog, the toddlers fit right in and the great room worked well for family gatherings.
The morning breakfast buffet is still missed....yummie breakfast burritos, homemade muffins, fresh fruit and tasty potatoes.

Wow! I can't say enough about Blue Sky retreat center! From the moment we stepped onto the grounds it felt like home with a little more magic. Breathtaking mountain views from multiple areas on property and fresh homecooked breakfast every morning. My favorite part was the apricot muffins and jam made from the apricot trees on the property! I'm thankful for the amazingly clean room during this covid stuff too. The grounds are beautiful and we did yoga throughout the property and peaceful walks along the labyrinth and path on site. We will 100% be back to this enchanting retreat center!!
