Java Lava Cafe

Wow! If you're passing through or staying nearby or within any range of this cafe, YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE! it is so delicious! I can't get over it. Lol. And the staff are all so so friendly. It has a nice cozy atmosphere to it. EGGS BENEDICT, BISCUITS AND GRAVY , AND HUEVOS were AMAZING!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the huevos and a pancake on the side. The huevos were packed with flavor! I’m picky about pinto beans because my mom’s beans will always be the best beans ever! but let me tell you, the beans tasted very similar to my mom’s. My pancake and chai tea were also very delicious! I live over a hour away but I will definitely be making the drive back to try other items in the menu. Thank you Java Lava Cafe!!

Great lil cafe!! Food was delicious and the drinks were great - the iced chai and strawberry and banana smoothie were particularly delicious. Plus staff are very warm and friendly - stop through here on your way to/from Arapaho Valley!

What a great little gem. Awesome breakfast, fun/chill atmosphere, quick and friendly service. Affordable. I had the eggs Benedict and it was really good! Based on the small kitchen, divey vibe, the fact that the Benedict is only offered on weekends, and limited reviews/pics, I was skeptical (not everyone can make a hollandaise, especially a good one) but there were 2 reviews that said it was good so I'm glad I tried it! Cappuccino was also awesome, lots of fluffy fluffy froth. Husband had breakfast burrito smothered in green chili - it looked a lot smaller than the pics we saw on here but he said it's good and he'd recommend it. He said his coffee was F-ing delicious. Food came out fast! Would come here again. Would definitely recommend

Restaurant located in a strip with other shops. Probably about 10-15 parking spots, if that. There were maybe 3 spots available when we arrived ~8am on a Sunday. By the time we left around 830/845 it didn't look like there were any open spots. But lots of people were just getting coffee or food to go (they also have premade breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches to grab and go). With how fast the food came out I'd assume parking isn't too bothersome

Cozy café with tons of coffee choices. My wife loved her chai latte, it had great space balance. We had a chicken sandwich and a chicken salad, both were very good for relatively fast food.
They have a nice bakery cabinet with all kinds of goodies as well. Lots of choices, fast, cozy environment.

It was surprisingly nice, the staff were friendly. The food was great, they serve large portions. And best of all they open early, everything here is either closed for the day or opens later.

This place is hidden in plain site. The last unit before a Dollar General store. You place your order at the counter then find a seat. The wait staff are a bunch of teenagers in tie dyed shirts. Kitchen staff fills the orders quickly. The food is super delicious green chile has a mild kick and beans are homemade. The bad thing is employees do not wear name badges so it's difficult to recognize someone for their work but there was a young lady who was shorter than all the other's with a slightly darker complexion who did an awesome job. We stop here for breakfast burritos and coffee often. We rarely sit inside and instead take our items to go. The burritos are always hot and tasty — filled with eggs, potatoes, and either sausage or bacon. The coffee is self serve and is also hot and very good quality. The people at the ordering counter are always friendly. It’s a bit expensive for a handheld burrito but it is big and often share one between my husband and I.

Visited this place while we were in Granby. They had plenty of breakfast options and staff was very friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Small strip mall diner with fantastic food and service. We ate there twice in during the week were there on vacation and likely would have eaten there more if we didn't have early appointments elsewhere. After eating at another local establishment, I would have to say they have the best breakfast in town

What an awesome spot in town. Seriously delicious waffles, hearty breakfast choices, and flavorful lattes. The pastries all looked delicious. They also have gluten free bread and bagel options. The staff was so kind and prompt and they even let our large group reserve the back room. Can't wait to return.

The woman who took our order was patient and helpful, the food and coffee were great, plus they had my favourite lavender lemonade.

This is a wonderful place! Quick service from polite and attentive staff. As a traveler I was happy they recommended I try the classic Colorado green chili on my skillet breakfast. Perfect way to start a day of hiking. Also got a lavender almond latte that was wayyy better than anything you could get at Dunkin or Starbucks. I highly recommend this cafe!

Food was good not great. Got the breakfast burrito covered in green chiles . Staff was pleasant . Prices are fair . Over all good not great .

Went in for coffee and stayed for breakfast they are open at 6am which is a saving grace if you are an early riser. Staff was personable and engaging made me feel welcome as a traveller. Placed was filled with locals which is always a good sign. Would certainly come back

Had a delicious breakfast! I got a smothered burrito and my boyfriend got the bagel with lox. Make sure you come hungry. Plenty of outdoor seating.
