Country Kitchen Restaurant

This restaurant is AMAZING!!! They look closed due to some renovations but they are definitely open!!!! I ordered the pot roast with the garlic mashed potatoes and gravy. The roast was so tender and very tasty. Didn't need to add salt or pepper. The gravy was phenomenal. My son ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was the best we'd ever tried. He ate the whole thing. My daughter ordered Avocado bacon burger as a double. The hamburger tasted like it was grilled and was so yummy! All 3 of us also had the most amazing chicken noodle soup. This place was so yummy that we came back for breakfast. Was not at all disappointed. So impressed we're now sitting here on our last night in Ontario, having dinner here again. Ordered the ribeye steak and potatoes and I'm sure it's going to be delicious!!! You should just try it yourself and leave your own 5 star rating. Our waitresses all 3 times were so pleasant and friendly, Terry was our favorite though. Thanks for the 5 star experience.

Even though they are going through renovations, the place is very clean. As you drive up on the outside, the place seems a little rundown. The food was delicious! If you go comparing it to other places, you will do yourself a disservice. The server, Terry, was the sweetest ever. I'm not one who likes onion rings, but their onion rings were very good, and the fries were perfect.. crispy outside, perfect salt balance and soft inside. The chicken tenders were tender on the inside and the breading with Crispy and yummy on the outside. Even had the fried cheese curds. They have become one of my favorite things. There may be times that I drive hours just for that.

Looks clean. Really reasonably priced. Large selection on menu. Our waitress reminded me of my grandma and was very attentive but not overbearing. I had soup and salad. Simple salad just spring mix with a few baby carrots and onion slices. The ranch dressing was really tasty! The potato soup was thick and creamy with good size chunks of perfectly cooked potatoes topped with bacon and cheese. It came in a medium sized bowl, not a tiny cup and was hot through. I was less hungry and tired of heavy food and this meal filled me up nicely. My husband had a the big country burger (double patty). The beef actually smelled like beef. He said it was really good and the fries are crispy and tasty. This restaurant is one of only a few in the area that are not “fast food”. I recommend you try it out and help keep it open! (There were only four couples in the entire place at lunch on a Wednesday)

The best about this place - is service. Welcoming, friendly, feels like home.

We had brunch here this morning and it was awesome. Our wait staff was amazing. The food was cooked exactly to our specifications and was super good. The place was clean. If u are one of those ppl who doesn't like to wear a mask until seated... u probably don't want to go here. If u don't mind then u can enjoy good food, good service and plentiful portions.

Like it says.... a country kitchen. Staff is friendly and nice. We tried to get our 10 week old puppy with us but no dice. That's OKAY the staff was real nice about it. They knew we were going quick by then and they got us in and out quickly to tend the puppy. All of us enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was great. They even found a candle for my 17 year Olds birthday to put into her crepes even though they don't do birthday surprises there. Great place to go.

Best burger I have had in ages. Not what I expected yet fantastic. Try it and be surprised.

Came over from the UK to meet my partner's family. Tried the country fried steak after being told by my southern friends to try it. Was delicious. Really liked the restaurant's vibe and the staff were lovely too.

The food was really good, I was very impressed and the service was great to, I'll definitely be going back!

Excellent, home-cooked food and they really do have good coffee!! It was a little slow to get seated but the waitress took my order right away and the food came out quickly. I arrived on a weekday morning. They weren't too busy and the parking lot is large enough so I was able to park my RV without any trouble. Will return! :)

I like this restaurant since few months ago for the 1st time. We like the food for breakfast and it was delicious. Hopefully next time we will come soon.

Delicious hot food, fast and friendly service! Could maybe make the dining room alittle more attractive and homey looking. But all around a good experience!

Even though they are under construction the place was clean and the service was great! If you are deciding between Dennys and this place choose this place so much better....!

The country kitchen has food above the average you experience at a family diner on the road. I had been traveling for about two weeks and used to regular food so this was a joyful interlude for a meal. I live in. Meridian but plan to take friends to Ontario for lunch there because it is a step above the usual.
I have been stopping there for years and their bathrooms, though nicely useable, have been under construction for years. I wonder when they will ever be finished?

My husband and I go here all the time. They have the best pancakes in town hands down! Their food is always good no matter what you order and the servers are always very friendly.

Amazing combination of excellent service and excellent food! I do not mean this lightly, they truly have the best two meals that I have had in a row. Extremely well done!

My first time there and took a service dog that I have in training perfect atmosphere great service even with my animal in the biscuits in the gravy were delicious
