Dollar General

Tammy is a great customer service oriented manager. She is really getting the store in shape.

In the midst of this Covid19 Pandemic, with a new year only one hour & 20 minutes away, it's nice to know that when I am in a hurry to get in and out of a store - that Dollar General will in all likelihood have the product, in stock & on the shelf.
The store is generally well stocked and has a knowledgeable sales staff that always answers my questions.
Although it may be a little tricky getting in-and-out, off of the highway, there is always ample parking.
I have never had to wait in line long at a cash register, either;seldom are there more than 2 or 3 people standing in line in front of me as I await check out.
Furthermore, I certainly enjoy walking into a store and being acknowledged in greeting by cashier's who actually seem to imply that they are glad to have you in their store.
I like the fact that the store is always clean when I have visited. An added attraction at night, is that the stores front parking area appears to be well lighted; and open to highway viewing in such a way as to deter preditors.
I will c-e-r-t-a-i-n-l-y be back.

On a side note, I accidentally backed my pickup truck into the managers dark sedan one night (I k-n-o-w, G.O.A.L...
Get Out And Look)... but, I never saw it. I went back inside and gave the individual my driver's licence information, my phone number, and my insurance information. The well dressed male proceeded to inform me that he thought that he might be able to get the dent out himself, self, and if so - he would not be sending off any of the insurance information.
I left the store thinking "Sure, he's either going to fix it himself or not bother getting the small dent fixed//but, in all probability will get an estimate... make a claim... & keep the monie$. The next day when I walked into the store, the male, dressed nicely (even wearing a tie) proceeded to show me the bumper that he had been able to pull back out - using a heat gun and a plunger.
Afterwards, he promptly handed me back my insurance information, and informed me that he would not be needing it!
How HONEST is THAT???
You bet they have made me a customer for life! :)

New manager is so great and kind . Before the staff was so lazy and rude. Now the staff actually have a register open. Instead of just self check out. Way to go New Manager.

Dollar General on Indian Wells is really nice with brand new refrigerators for meats'....milk, eggs and drinks....also added a self checkout.

Very nice people who we're working that day. Help me find an item I was looking for , took me right to it. Never experienced a bad time. Going to the Dollar General

Had just about everything that I needed so that I didn't have to go in Wal-Mart...I'm a happy customer. Just very quick and convenient the majority of the time!

I love all of the Dollar Generals here in Alamogordo. They are all very nice when I shop there and they always have great prices.
