Best Walmart staff I've ever met. I mean, that's a low bar, but these folks are truly great. Day or night, there are amazing staff that CARE about the customers here.

Neighborhood Walmart is the very BEST! Ruidoso should have one here. The fruits, vegetables 😋 are huge and beautiful 😍. It's a great experience 😋 to enjoy buying groceries. Have a nice day!

Also the Manager Josie is a Manager every store would want. You are so lucky to have her. She goes up and beyond to help her customers.

Always have a great experience at this store but today while checking out, I asked Tom, who was at the self-checkout area how I can ring up 3 bags of Morton (Clean & Protect Water Softener) Salt Pellets. The bags were near the exit and the fold-out flyer that used to be at the self checkout wasn't there. Tom asked me how many I wanted, I told him 3. He grabbed the hand held scanner and walked over to the bags and scanned 3. I asked Tom for assistance in getting the bags into my cart. My cart was pretty full and I thought I had room. Tom went to grab an empty cart. Tom offered to load the bags into my cart. I grabbed one side and Tom grabbed the handles of each bag and we placed them in the cart. (These bags weigh 40 pounds. Not fun to lift) After loading the bags, Tom walked the cart to my car and again helped me load the 3 bags into the back of my car. Thanks Tom!

The carry out people are extra nice at this walmart. Especially Dorothy!

Good store. Prefer going here over the supercenter.

They have a few different items from the Supercenter so it's worth a look but it's still a Neighborhood Market.

Honestly, You think a Wal-Mart is a Wal-Mart right? If you've been to one you've been to them all? That's probably because you've had mostly the same experiences in them as I have, can't find anyone, they aren't willing to help and no one knows where anything is.

That's never been the case at this neighborhood market, from the first time we stopped here in a moving truck, to every time we go for regular shops now, the crew are courteous and responsive; I've been asked if I need help more times here than any other Wal-Mart combined it feels like.

The produce is fresh and maintained and the deli counter always has what we need even if they have to grab it from the back.

If you only need food stuffs and don't need the extra sections of the supercenter, like hardware outdoor or what have you, then it's worth your time to make the trip up the hill.

With the pandemic the grocery pickup option has been very helpful. They usually pick really good produce and are very careful with PPE. The people I've dealt with have been very helpful with occasional incidental items as well. Top notch service.

The inside, not so much. Only self check out. Going inside is not worth the hassle or the liability.

Prefer coming here than the Main Wal-Mart.. Less Crowded most of the time, workers are more friendlier, and much cleaner. I also love the new upgrade and changes made to the Store.

I am a former resident of Alamogordo, and recently went back to visit and was pleasantly surprised to see this new store perfectly located in this part of town. I went in and the staff was wonderful, friendly, eager to serve and it almost made me wish we had never moved away. Look forward to visiting again soon. Excellent location.

I always come here when I need only groceries. Much cleaner and faster to get out of than the big Walmart.

Occasionally, while on the other side of town, my wife and I like to shop the Neighborhood Market (Walmart); w he ole it may not have as many features or be as inexpensive as the Super Walmart... I am far more likely to find a mobility cart, when needed (I am left 85% disabled after several corrective surgeries/some days I can barely move - others I can do quite well, not requiring a cart... B. U. T., I do NOT get to "choose" which days.

Friendly wrk an helpful people only been this store one other they r always helpful to you what isle. Clean store. People who shop there r nice. Parking is good keep in order no shopping carts rolling around. Good experience all the way around.

Nice place away from the main shopping areas of town. When you want groceries and not mess with the traffic of the regular Super Walmart.

Selection is pretty good, and the items we've picked up seem to be priced the same as the Super WM.

Never been to a Walmart grocery store before but i highly recommend it. Much better selection and easier to navigate than the big supercenter when you're just looking for food and basic household goods

This has become the greatest shopping experience in town. Josie and her entire team have transformed the shopping experience here, and made it the best in town! I especially love the specific target marketing that never fails to help me discover new and exciting products, like the Tony Romo Corona add!
