The Dean Public House

My two favorite items on the menu- pork loin with green beans and mashed potatoes. And homemade tomato bisque. Delicious. The appetizer special- roasted acorn squash, was also tasty.

In the Summer, you might see horses tied to the hitching post out front and dogs running around in the backyard. A lot of historical memorabilia inside, as well as a gift shop with locally made items. A true Colorado experience.

Solid place to eat after a long day ice fishing. They don’t allow pups inside but they said in the summer they allow them on the deck. Very cool, chill atmosphere. The two people running it were very nice. Big portions for the price. The salad and bread were outstanding. Will be back again. Thank you.

Great little spot in town. We stopped in after going to the hot springs resort. Service and food were great. Nice small little restaurant with a great atmosphere.

We ordered the tomato bisque with grilled cheese, whistle pig street tacos, and the skillet chocolate chip cookie. All were very good.

The complementary bread with oil to dip in was delicious. Must get this bread!

A cute little place close to Hot Sulphur springs. The food was really fresh and tasty. They have a limited menu and it's mostly tacos. They do have vegetarian options. My only concern was that corn soft shell tacos got soggy within a few seconds. The shells broke which made it difficult to eat. The flour tortilla shells worked fine. In spite of this, I am not reducing my rating because the food was absolutely delicious. We also got dessert and it was delicious. They have outdoor seating too.

Such a fun place!! We have a ranch in Hot Sulphur Springs and we learned that this place opened and couldn't wait to be here! Molly and Carrie were awesome.

They make so many of their ingredients in house... Including amaretto, barbecue sauce, and even their ginger beer!

The plates were the perfect size for three people sharing... But the bill really added up if you aren't careful. Everything we had was delicious! And they even will give you things to go. The family style of sharing a table in the small room was really fun. The environment was fun, the food was great, and the drinks were incredible! We will definitely be coming back here whenever we are in town and they are open.

What a hidden treasure!!! Great drinks. Excellent service and food (went for the street tacos) came all the way from Philadelphia and accidentally stumbled in while visiting the hot Sulphur spring baths.
Make this a must see if you are out this way - or make an intentional trip 😁

My family and I ate here and we loved it. The food was delicious and the people friendly. If you’re in the area, you should definitely try this place. The peach cobbler was the amazing!

To my surprise, nearly the whole menu is home made or locally sourced. Totally worth it. Makes me want to revisit hot sulfur springs just for clean and reliable nutrition! 🤩

This was one of the most unexpectedly delightful dining experiences I have had in a long time. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere was genuinely charming. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

This place is absolutely amazing! No knocks against the surrounding restaurants in HSS, Granby, and Parshall, but for the most part they're all doing the same thing; burgers, steaks, and burritos.

At the Public House I was really surprised and happy to see creativity on the menu. Crostini , tarragon aioli, en flambe dishes, home made desserts and breads, and creative proteins. Chad the chef has a fantastic imagination, and John the FOH operator is welcoming and very friendly!

Here's the kicker, my lady and I are here on a Friday and searched for something new on Saturday. We couldn't find anything near as appealing so we came back a second night. Chad remembered us by name! Try getting that experience anywhere else in Grand County! It won't happen. That's exceptional customer appreciation.

I had never even heard of the Dean Public House until I had to spend the night in Hot Sulphur Springs mid-November.
I was going to sell my mobile home trailer in Kremmling the next day, but the trailer had been winterized, so no running water. I asked the gal at the hotel about a restaurant I could get dinner and she recommended the Dean Public House at Stagecoach. It's set back on a side street down below the main street and I was able to walk to it. When I first walked in, the song "Man of Constant Sorrow" was playing in the saloon, which is also the dining room. The gal that served me was the bartender besides told me some interesting history about the place. The place was also a hotel at one time, and whenever President Theodore Roosevelt was passing through he would stay there. The top stair going to his room is raised 2 inches higher than the rest so that any "would be assassin" would trip on it, there by spoiling his element of surprise!
Wyatt Earp, and Doc Holliday spent time there as well.
They make really good bread there. I had some of along with some oil and spices for an appetizer along with a beer.
The main course was barbecued chicken flatbread, very good! It reminded me of pizza. The biggest surprise was the bill. It was under $20!!
I highly recommend this place!
It was kinda like a trip to the past but a lot safer!

The Dean Public house was a really neat saloon and restaurant. Their menu changes and updates regularly depending on what’s available, but everything that we had was delicious. They also do a happy hour. Worth the visit!

Cute little restaurant, incredibly friendly staff.
Only thing to note is portion size, menu consists of "tapas" type plates (light bites) instead of entrees

We adored this place. They had beer from Kremmling right down the street, beef from the ranch up the road, and BBQ pork that they smoked out back. Really great local vibe, seemed to be family run, and everyone working there was very friendly, and helped us out with some local tips. Surprisingly, our favorite part was actually the bread. They bring you this amazing homemade rosemary bread that was just to die for. We couldn't stop eating it. We will certainly be back!

So cute, loved the atmosphere! They made a vegan pizza for my friend, really appreciated the accommodation. Can't wait to go back.
The portions are "mountain tapas" which was actually an appropriate size meal for one adult person. I usually have to take half my meal home or share an entree but this was just right.

This place is awesome. Comfy mountain town vibes, the staff are super friendly and the food is amazing. First night we went it happened to be St. Paddy's day and they had corned beef and cabbage and it was so good. The other night we went, there was live music. Good atmosphere, great food and yummy drinks!

This place is a quaint little hideaway in Hot Sulphur Springs. They served us excellent homemade bread as soon as we sat down, and their cocktails were very tasty. Their bacon is really good and probably deserves to be featured in a BLT sandwich of its own. The tacos and Brussels sprouts need some tweaking, but I'd come back any time!
