Nurses, PA, and doctor are friendly, knowledgeable and great with kids. Compared to other allergists in the area i rate this place the highest.

Information is freely disseminated here and not hidden behind an "ask us" wall. There is no assumption that you know everything.

Awesome visit- the Doctor was caring and considerate and explained everything in great detail- really cared about my concerns. The nurse was fun and socialable. Everyone there was friendly and enjoyable. Really feel like I got the most out of my visit. RECOMMEND:)

This doctor has saved not only my life but my quality of living. The staff are down to earth and professional, compassionate and extremely caring like they've known me forever. I am forever grateful that I found this place. Highly, highly recommended.

My asthma was completely out of control to the point that I was having anxiety attacks and that made it worse. Everybody in the office was so patient and understanding. It took a while but they where able to figure out the right treatment for me and I’m better now.

I have had asthma and allergies since I was born. I have seen several asthma specialist over the years. I've been on and off different medications for the past five years. I had such a prob. I gained weight from being on steroids so much going through my inhalers very quickly and struggling still. The staff in the back was amazing. Smiled and so sweet. Dr really listened and did all the test first thing. The nurses in the front could be better no personality and just act like they don't want to be there. But mouthing major. I'm sure we have all had bad days. I was out on a medication that I havent tried. I've been taking the same stuff since I was a little kid. Hut I didn't know my asthma had changed. I feel like my quality of life is much better. I barely touch my rescue inhaler. I can run around with my child. And even lost some weight. I never want to go any were else every again.

I had my first visit with Dr. J,, who was very kind, polite, thorough, and professional and so was his nurse ! I sadly just missed my follow up appointment today, which is something I Never do, for this Dr.or any Dr. I apologized 3x during my call with all sincerely, but never once did the person on the other end acknowledge my apology!
And honestly, the rest of the call did not go much better and the best part,, I asked for her name and she hung up on me!
Talk about "unprofessional " !! When I do see Dr. J on my next scheduled appt. I won't hesitate to make mention of the attitude I was given!
I see many dr's. in Syracuse and never, never do the receptionist make you feel like you are bothering them or it's an effort to help!! And this is why so many from this area rely on Dr.'s in Syracuse! I felt compelled to say something,, which again, is something I NEVER do!

Always willing to listen to me and get me in when I'm sick. They've helped me get my allergies under control and I'm breathing better than I have in years. And my doc helped encouraged me when I started working to lose weight and exercise more. I have never had an issue here.

I don't understand why it's taking weeks to get my daughters EpiPen prescription. I call during business hours and they say the office is closed and we can't leave a message but have to call back and the same thing happens again. I left a voicemail when I did get through and forwarded to whoever, the lady must've half listen because she called back talking about me when it was for my daughter. And most the people I had to speak with have 0 bedside manner (excluding appt). The fact I've had to continually call between the office and pharmacies and still no resolution is annoying and frankly unprofessional. Last reason for 1 star is we had to wait MONTHS for this appointment and now getting the run around.

Update 9/22: today we had a follow up appointment and it went much better. We were able to discuss the issues from our last visit and figured out they stemmed from turn over of new employees and lack of communication from the pharmacy. I would like to thank Tina (you rock) for taking the time to explain and figure out where all the confusion came from on top of being great with the twins and of course Dr. Chrostowski for his expertise.

It would be a 4 to 5 star rating if the front staff would be friendly. It seems like she just does not care. The lady in front of me checking in said the same. The Dr is great and really seems to care!

I have had two referrals sent from our Pediatrician since Nov of last year. For months, everytime I attempt to make an appt or follow up on said referrals, I get an automated message stating the office is closed- during times they state they are open. I've also left messages with an answering service twice and not gotten a call back.

Finally someone from our ped office called to follow up and they were told that the referral was scanned in last Nov, added to my son's filed, and they did nothing with it to get our care established after that. If there were another option locally, we would switch.

The attendance policy is ridiculous. 150.00 fee if you dont call 72 hours to reschedule. Let me also add completely not understanding if it's a last minute change, so if you have any emergencies, or work overnights and are try to explain yourself, they won't listen nor care. I give them a big star down just because of the completely miss understanding of me trying to reschedule. I'm not going to want to reschedule while your telling me oh and you gotta pay 150$ because rescheduling last minute, when I tried to explain I work 12 hour over nights 6-6 and the appointment was at 1:15, couldn't sleep till after kids got on bus to school. At 8. Leaving me with 4 hours of sleep then to go back to work and do another 12. This is the least understanding place I have ever been. I told them I will not pay the 150 because I can't afford it, and after that didn't even bother to ask if I wanted to reschedule to the simple fact that I told them I not paying the 150, and if they do charge me I will be going to court I signed now papers agreeing to there stupid policy.

I've been dealing with allergies, allergic reactions & possibly asthma. Can't figure out what's causing the allergic reactions. When I came here on my first visit, the doctor told me he can't do anything about it until it happens a 3rd time because it's not a chronic allergy ( mind you I can never breathe at my house, constantly sneezing at least 30x a day, running nose, extremely itchy eyes & have random hives appear) after my 4th reaction I came back. I was told that it was still not serious but he will run tests to "make me feel better". He ran the tests and when it came back I was severely allergic to dust mites, peanuts.. etc. He was surprised. I have never seen such unprofessional doctors before. I have never felt so disregarded. I have been dealing with this since October & now on my 7th reaction. Even though I have been avoiding everything I was told I was allergic to. I'm getting somewhere with my primary doctor more then I did with Advanced asthma and allergy. They dont seem very "advanced" to me. I will never recommend this place and I'm now trying to find somewhere in Syracuse.
