Meier's Artisan Cheese

I had the dill cheese curds which were rich and very tasty. Also had the gruyere cheese which also was good as hell I’m not going to lie. Most importantly the customer service was excellent the owners explained to me the process and hard work that they pour into the product should be in all stores nationwide

You can’t think of the North Country without thinking of Meier’s Cheese curds. They’re the best when it comes to freshness and that perfect “squeakiness”. I often buy Meier’s at Stewart’s when I can’t runout to Constable and they’re always just as fresh. Original is the staple but I also love the garlic ones.

Meier's artisan cheeses are a part of every celebration at our house and have been for years. If you haven't tried these cheeses yet, you are in for a treat. High quality, local cheeses that are made with care. Highly recommend.

Always fresh, prefect curds! This family business is a step ahead of the competition by offering some of the most amazing cheese products in New York. The cheese store is located in front of the family dairy farm, making this entire operation extremely "green" friendly. Mr Meier and his family are wonderful to deal with.

People in the North Country (Upstate, NY) know their cheese. Real cheese not only tastes delicious but it is all-natural and comes from a great source. Meier's Artisan Cheese from Constable, NY is all of the above. I love cheese - almost all kinds, and can tell you 1st hand this cheese is delicious & clean. Do yourself a favor, get your cheese here! I have been sort of scared of cheese curds, that is, until I tried Meier's! I've had the plain and the jalapeño, actually they are great combined, and am now introducing them to friends. My favorite Meier's cheese, however, is the xxxx sharp cheddar. It has a delicious bite and unlike anything I've had from the store.

Incredible flavour and texture- you can taste the quality of the craftsmanship! By far my favourite cheese, I always make sure to pick some up on my way past the Meier farm.

Makes the best cheese around always fresh and full of flavor made all natural. Our children will no longer eat cheese from the store and they love the fresh squeakiness of the cheese curds every Thursday and Friday. We love all the different flavors they have to offer it’s this families go to snack and now we use meiers artisan cheese to substitute recipes that call for cheese. Example last week we tried shredded halloumi on homemade pizza AMAZING turned perfectly melted and golden!!! If you finely shred with shredder the halloumi does melt. Also great on the bbq and fried in a pan to golden brown then cut and served. Makes the best homemade macaroni and cheese we use some of 3 flavor and cheese curds too. Dan and family are wonderful people and great to carry on a conversation with always there to answer questions about their local business. If you have not tried meiers artisan cheese your missing out. Stop in check it out and I’m sure you will be amazed at the freshness, flavor and the craftsman ship put into this local business.

I stopped in on a whim after I drove by earlier in the day; and man I’m glad I did. Not only some of the freshest cheese I’ve ever had, but delicious as well! Dan is a good guy and knows what he is doing! You won’t be didsapointed!

My wife loves the cheese they make so she asks me to get some for her like once every month or two. We live about 4 hours away but the drive is amazing so I don't mind it at all.
