We converted our wood fireplace to gas two years ago. During that time, we also had a granite and stone company cover the brick with a slab of stone. Unfortunately, the granite company installed the stone improperly and it cracked the very first time we turned on the fireplace. Avon Stove and Fireplace helped figure out why it happened. They removed the gas fireplace so the stone could be removed, new covering added, then came back to re-install it (nearly a year later). All at no charge! Now, the fireplace looks beautiful and it heats our space beautifully! So happy we hired Avon Stove & Fireplace!!

I lost faith in my older longtime cast iron wood burning stove. At Avon Stove & Fireplace Co. They showed me a Hearthstone fireplace and gave me all the information on how a new catalytic stove works. I bought it and they scheduled my installation. I received a call earlier than expected to install my fireplace. It was a snow storm and still Matt the installer arrived on time. I would recommend the stove now that we are past the learning curve, of about a day of burning. Very nice!
In life not everything goes perfectly. We had a miss understanding about using my pipe and adding one fitting they would supply for the cost quoted. They were very accommodating in this matter. They ordered the pipe, scheduled the refitting of the new section and came out to complete the work. Matt again did a great job. I paid for the added pipe, and they traveled the long trip down and did the added labor at no added charge. I find this to be a fair compromise and good costumer service. Their ethics are in the right place and I hope they feel I have conducted myself fairly as well. Thank you very much! ..... Andrew

Very happy with how everything came out. Greg was great, any questions I had he’d answer them quickly by phone or email. Mike came and did the installation, he’s super nice asked me where I wanted the stove. We did have a hiccup with where the pipe was going to go originally but it actually came out better then the original plan! Thank you again!

My wife and I recently purchased a new wood stove from Avon Stove and Fireplace. What a fantastic experience! The owner Greg and his employee Greg, were both experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and eager to make our experience exactly what we wanted. We chose an Ashford 20 which we know love in our living room. It took us a long time to make this decision and make the order and time the delivery and installation. They were patient with us! Matt was our installer. He was efficient and clearly explained what he was doing and how to operate the stove. We feel confident us using this new piece of furniture in our home. It's gorgeous and we can't wait for some chilly weather!

Avon Stove and Fireplace did a great job installing our Mendota gas fireplace and surround. We had an unusual situation putting a gas fireplace on an interior wall, and we found them very easy to work with. There were a lot of twists and turns in our quest for a fireplace, and they were there with us every step of the way. The installer was the most fabulous contractor we've ever worked with. We are so glad we trusted them with the complete job, start to finish. If you choose to go with Avon Stove and Fireplace, you won't be disappointed!

This review is different than any other review i have filled out because I had my stove installed over 5 years ago. Greg Paul is a great guy and very knowledgeable about his products. Matt installed our stove and did a great job. Nice clean install. We went with a Blaze King Sirocco 25 and this thing can heat our whole home and is extremely efficient. 5 years later and it still works beautifully. These guys are pros and I highly recommend them.

I comparison shopped many different stores in the WNY, and Avon Stove is far and above everyone else. They are knowledgeable, helpful, supremely professional, fair, and honest. Their pricing was the best by far. I’m super happy with my purchase.

Excellent service and knowledge on their stoves, with lots of options to choose from. Greg Paul was very freindly and we got a great price on a Blaze King wood insert. Best insert ever in my opinion. The install was done in a timely manor and done right all the way to the clean up. We are loving life now, with the long burn times and its super efficiency. They really go the extra mile to make their customers happy. When I had issues with my stove and the Dealer, Greg stood tall and got it right. I bought a Napoleon furnace and wood stove, and the brick work backdrop for the stove. This store is wonderful, and the people there really care. The installation of both the furnace and stove was easy, fast and the technicians were very professional. Greg and Doty Paul, the owners make everyone they meet feel like life long friends. I had to replace a "zero clearance" wood burning fireplace due to the base cracking and deteriorating. Matt came out to do the estimate. I have to say there is nothing better than speaking with a highly experienced professional when bouncing ideas around as he provided invaluable advice based on personal experience. I was exploring changing the entire look of the room by putting rock all the way up to the 12' peak (which we did) and converting to a gas fireplace. I met with Greg V. at the showroom to pick out the fireplace, rock, and mantle. He was outstanding pulling together exactly what we wanted. The installation was flawless. Matt showed up right on time on the scheduled day, cleaned up at the end of each day to minimize disruption to our daily routine, and finished on time. The quality of his work was outstanding. I was inspecting every step and there were no corners cut or sloppy workmanship; he is a true craftsman. I could not be happier with how this job came out and the Mendota fireplace is adjustable from a romantic flicker to a 40,000 BTU home heating blast furnace! The chill is gone...

I called Avon Stove & Fireplace early in the morning for emergency service from New Jersey to help my Father in Piffard to get heat in his house. He had none at the time. Avon Stove sprung into action and got to my father's house in a matter of minutes and helped out immediately! It was like having an extended FAMILY member help out and that is very difficult to find today. Well, that extended family was found and they are tremendous! I highly recommend them for any kind of service and stove / fireplace installs. Great people!! Exactly what you need!

Plenty of display units of every size, several manufacturers gas, wood, inserts, free standing. Incredibly nice and knowledgeable staff. Clean and organized, definitely a hidden treasure for those of us who welcome this “now alternative “ heating style.

We had 8" stove pipe installed thru our roof to our wood stove, price was fair, installer "Matt" very nice & personable. a pleasure to deal with. definitely would recommend again.
