Highland Park

Came back to the old stomping grounds to have some fun with my family. Just visiting and decided to burn out the remainder of our kids energy at the park. Great times!

Clean park with ample parking and easy to navigate. Located within the park is a Carousel, outdoor pool, indoor basketball, pavilions for gatherings, tennis courts and baseball field. This particular visit was for the Cars in The Park, which is hosted annually here.
Stop by this park and take a moment to see the 9/11 memorial located in the lower area of park. This site will indeed leave a tear.

Highland Park it's a good place to visit, all seasons, it's beautiful 🏞 thank you for Town of Union they take care of Park good. Especially thanks for the stuff who's clean the road during snow and landscaping during the summer.

Had a blast at the car show June 2019. Park is well taken care of.... Great summer programs. Clean pool. Nice grilling/party spots.

one of the best parks in Endicott/End well area ,SO much there, carousel that's big park for kids apart from babies there's a tennis court basketball beautiful swimming pool there there's a gym trails barbecue grills there's so much more it's amazing

Had our annual family reunion celebration here this past weekend and always enjoy the park facilities and all they have to offer!
This has been a signature park in the Endwell area for many years, and the carousel is one of the originals of the era of Wurlitzer playing carousels left in the country, from what i understand. So many great memories from my childhood, and now being made by those family members raising their children at this great park!

Always clean and quiet except for summertime. Kids control the pool all day long. No room to swim. Period. The pool gets no stars from me. Very unruly untamed loud....very loud kids! Sr. Swim is 7-8pm but most sr's have retired by then and are too tired to get back out after dinner. Pool gets a big fat zero! Overpopulated with kids. Such a disappointment. About all you can do is literally stand in the water.

The park is beautiful and very well maintained. There are a couple of walking trails, a few pavilions, a playground and plenty of wooded areas to explore.

Beautiful park! Nice swimming pool and many spaces to just enjoy the day and grill. They have grills but you can also bring your own.

I've been going here for over 45 years. I miss the big tractor tires in the playground area and I miss the annual end-of-year school picnics when I attented elementary school from the late 70's to the early 80's. So, yes I'm still going here and obviously love it dearly.

Always clean. Picnic tables and BBQ pits. Love the free merry go round and very nice pool! The pool is packed with kids until later in the afternoon so it's very crowded. Sr's are free and adult swim is 7-8pm. Not much room for swimming early afternoon. Swarming with kids!

Highland Park is the essence of Summer. The carousel, the pool, the pavilions and barbecues, the playgrounds for the children, the beautiful tall trees, are wonderful. Kids love it, and adults want to be kids again when they are there. Tennis courts and a gymnasium. A big hill. Live music and other events. Living nearby is an absolute pleasure.

I last rode the carousel 45 years ago. I got up on the horse and rode it again. It still looks great. It has been well taken care of over the years. Its free so why not ride. I loved it. The park looks great and has been well maintained and upgraded.

I love this park. This park has all the amenities and then some including a working antique carousel that you can ride for free. The pool is well maintained... The welcome respite on extremely hot days. There's a toddler playground at the lower end of the park near the extremely well maintained tennis fields...

I enjoy either sitting in my car and enjoying the view from there just as much as I love to sit at a bench and eat lunch. Highland is one of my favorite places in town year round.

Always looks well cared for. The playground is nice and shady. The carousel is wonderful for kids of all ages. Nice snack bar. The pool is always clean. The gym is really nice for youth sports.

Great playground and nice old fashioned carousel 🎠. Was with kids aged 2-12 and all had a good time. There are bathrooms and a drink vending machine.
There is a public pool with a diving board also. We didn't go over there this trip.

Pavillion & bathrooms clean & well stocked. Easy access to Pavillion to unload supplies. Very spacious, easy process to schedule.
Gave them a 5 overall, only issue was picnic tables very heavy making it difficult to change arrangement.

A lot of memories here. Bathrooms, carousel and pool open from memorial day through labor day. The carousel is one of 6 historic carousels in Broome County. And as many photos posted show... 4th of July Fireworks display has traditionally happened here for more than 40 years (50 maybe?). Several pavilions for gatherings with charcoal grills for cooking. There's even a snack shack. What else do you really need from a local park? A place for baseball and tennis you ask? Got those too.

Summer pool. Winter sledding. Free Carousel rides in season. Basketball courts, tennis courts, separate kiddie playground. Plenty of parking. Open grilling. Multiple pavilions hold large parties of up to 50-100 ppl comfortably.
