This was our first time there and it was delightful. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was excellent and they had a wide selection of dishes. The Children’s Menu was very good and filling for my hungry little man. The environment was very nice, clean, and well decorated.

Ordered take out and was very happy with the food. Pleasantly surprised how fresh the ingredients in the entrees were. We ordered Lasuni Gobi, Chicken tikka roll, vegetable biryani, shrimp biryani, samosa chat & chicken Manchurian. All dishes were the right amount of spices and balance.

The samosa chatt is AMAZING! You HAVE to try it!!!! So delicious, with so many bright flavors!

I got a bunch of food for takeout, and overall everything was great, but to me the samosa chatt was definitely the star of the show.

Authentic and delicious. This is an unexpected find. Authentic Bangladeshi food is different from Indian food. This place keeps that distinction in their flavors. Many of the dishes closely resembles home cooked food in Bangladesh. No gimmicks or overuse of spices to fool your taste buds. I was not expecting this from The Taste of Bengal. Well done, keep it up, I will stop by again.

My husband and I came here on a Friday night with our baby and the staff was so friendly and accommodating (sharing where I could breastfeed or diaper change privately). The food was also delicious! We got the samosas, goat biryani, and fish curry: all very good, well seasoned, lots of flavor. This place should be more frequented, we'll be going back for sure!

The smell of the food dragged us by our noses from the EPAC theater to the front door of Taste Of Bengal. Walking in there was a scene of simple elegance with a cultural flair and a kind greeting from man at the bar. We took our seats and began to drool over the traditional yet novice friendly menu. We ordered and when the food came out in good time and made fresh (you know you can tell) the presentations and smells were beautiful. The food and flavors were so authentic and executed perfectly. The cost was reasonable, well worth every cent. We will tell everyone we know and we will be taking family and friends there as soon as possible.

This is my favorite place to grab some flavor and spice in Broome. They never disappoint to deliver high quality food! Small restaurant that packs a punch. They are always so kind and personable. Today I tried to leave a tip but had to do so with a different form of payment so I ordered a tea and my server was almost upset that I wanted to pay. Said it was complementary but I insisted. I have an appointment once a month in the area and always stop in for my favorites. Butter chicken, Biryani and Nan. They home make their Nan and even have an authentic tandoori oven. If you are ever on Washington Ave I highly suggest stopping by to give them a try. Always support local!

Very good food and excellent service, it’s very shameful to see so many negative comments by so called desi people. Quality of food and service will bring the positive reviews but there will always be haters.

I really wish them success in their business. Keep up the good work.

Authentic Indian subcontinetal food. Price is excellent and service is good. If you can't handle too much spice, request for mild version.

Oh my gosh, I forgot to take pics because the food was so fragrant and delicious that I dove in too quickly and ate it all!!
From the first course of veggie samosas, we knew we were in for a treat - perfectly fried, and the sauce/filling combo was simply wonderful. We got more of the “common” offerings (butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, chicken biryani) and all were PERFECT. The naan was also so so so good. And very reasonably priced.
It’s clear they take pride in their food. We’re going back tomorrow!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I cannot stress enough the beautiful food, ambience and kindness of the folks who run this place!

From the first bite to the last, absolutely delicious flavors explode into every bite. The level of “hot” spice is so perfect…the textures are just incredible. Thank you -for the consistency of your food. I simply cannot sing enough the praises of these beautiful people & their beautiful food.

Prompt, cordial welcome! Our food was exquisitely seasoned—the chicken tikka was presented on a sizzling platter and had a pleasing taste of garlic and yogurt marinade. The saag paneer was creamy, mildly spiced (my preference) and contained large firm cubes off of fresh paneer. The menu has expanded since our last visit—we’ll be back soon to sample some more dishes. Reasonable prices!

Side note: We were impressed at the extra care they took in explaining and clarifying menu items to a caller.

So good! I had the samosa chaat and lamb biryani. Both were outstanding! The place was basically empty on a sat night which makes no sense at all - they should be packed solid given how delicious the food is. Go there and eat. You'll be glad you did.

Friendly staff and delicious cuisine! This was some of the best Indian cuisine I have had. The Lasooni Gobi (fried cauliflower) was incredibly tasty and surpassed my expectations. The Chicken Tikka Masala did not disappoint either. The price was reasonable as well. I will be returning and recommending Taste of Bengal to others as well.
