World War II Veterans Memorial Park

Honors all the services from WWII. Flags at half staff today. In remembrance of those murdered in Israel. Peaceful place with sporting complex.

Our little hidden gem. Kids love the playground equipment shaped like military equipment. You can't see it from the road you have to pull in then walk into the woods a few steps to see it. The walking path is great, it has old military trucks parked,so that is cool to see. I just wish rhe trucks were more protected from the elements,to preserve them aa long as possible, since it is a part of history. Also the memorial plaques are so nice.

Wonderful place to walk or young children to play. Walk through the woods. Frequently see deer. Also a basketball court. Baseball field and have seen people practice their golf. Wonderful place.

The walkway in the back with the military vehicles and plaques is a pretty elaborate setup. And the children's playground with the jungle gyms in the shape of military vehicles is pretty neat.

Very good place for a walk and a playground for the kids, there are basketball courts there soccer and a big open grass to play

Very nice setup. It pays respect to every branch of the service. It mentions all the wars from WW1 thru Vietnam.

Located in Whiting, NJ a fine tribute to "The Greatest Generation". They all saved this Nation and the World.
