If you have a hard time finding the perfect boot/shoe, this review is for you!

After our new puppy had ruined her favorite winter boots a few years back, my wife had purchased a few pairs of boots online and from other places, but she always came home with wet and cold feet that left her miserable and disappointed.

After she came home a few weeks ago with cold sore feet, I talked her into trying Bermel's. We had found a pair of boots for me there about 5 years ago, I spent real money and hate shopping for boots (still wear those boots, love em) My wife works hard and gives it all to the kids so she was reluctant to spend the money, but we decided that could be her Christmas present if she chose to invest in a pair of boots that made her happy and kept her feet warm, if we could even find the right pair. She was still a little sore at the puppy, even if nearly three years later he had become her best friend. She just wanted that one pair of boots back,

We got up early, grabbed some coffee and drove to Randall. I was a little surprised as we got there a few minutes past open and there was already a small group of people there shopping. I was a little bummed as I thought we might not get the attention I was hoping for, I really wanted my wife to get some boots that she would really like.

What we got was an attentive, knowledgeable staff that took the time to answer questions, offer suggestions and otherwise made us feel welcome and always like a priority despite a full house. I was impressed with how they gave time to all the shoppers and I never had to look far for an answer or to get help. I really appreciated how they took time to grab my wife several different pairs of boots to try on, making sure the fit was perfect and that she was happy...ending up with a pair that one of the staff personally used for ice fishing.

Overall, this was the best retail experience we've had in years and best of all?

2 weeks later my wife couldn't be happier with her boots!

The service is excellent and the quality of boots is also excellent. Prices are decent too. Just bought a new pair of thorogood and they are one of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned and this service was definitely excellent She was willing to get my size in every boot I wanted to try on without even rolling her eyes lol. I did buy the first pair that I tried on too and she sold them to me with a smile two weeks ago.

I needed to pick up some work boots for my son who is in another state. The service was incredible. I got my son on the phone with the boss. He only needed to ask my son 5 questions and then went and picked out the best boots for my son. When I commented that it's a different color than my son's current boots, he commented that they changed the color a few years ago. They even showed me the original boot in the color that he currently has. All this to make me feel confident that these are the same great boots that my son loves. The service was incredible.

Great people and good selection of work boots. They spent a lot of time making sure we had the right boots and inserts.

Went in afer work on a friday and bought a $299 pair of Thorogoods 8" for $169. How awesome is that.

I have been there for years since I was a kid. I grew around there, and enjoyed this store a lot. I have feet problems, so they help me out a lit.

Bought boots there 15 years ago, needed eyelets replaced. Replaced them, oiled the boots and included a new pair of laces all for $8.00, I thought this was too low so my daughter and I each bought shoes. Great store, wonderful helpful people. Check them out.

Stellar place with amazing service, the price is also modest, I have been coming here with my dad for years. However, now I come here myself. Durable cowboy boots and amazing hiking boots.

These guys do great repair work for a modest price. They have a great selection of boots as well. Every time I come here the staff is upbeat and friendly. Also, they have discount boots in the back that are slightly used but still in great shape.

Bermel's has a great selection and competitive pricing on all Red Wing boots! I try to make it there once a year for a new pair. Great service too!

This is my favorite shoe store. My family has been buying boots here for three generations now. The customer service is great and the craftsmanship on their repairs is second to none. I live in Rochester now but, I still bring my boots here for repair and buy new ones here if I can wait to make the trip.

Outstanding customer service with friendly staff! My boots were fixed today within 10 minutes and they stood behind a pair that I bought this winter that the foot bed broke. It’s worth the drive to go to Bermels, and we will continue to do just that! Thanks for running a great business!

My husband and I have purchased many pairs of work boots, hiking and athletic shoes at Bermels. The service is excellent, the selection is good and they're always willing to order if necessary.

Best place to get boots/shoes in the United States! Lol. No really it's awesome. I will never buy from anyone else from now on! This place is a good hour away from my house but it's worth the drive! The staff are really helpful and patient and their seconds are a no brainer! I picked up two pair of Barely Used boots for a hundred bucks!
