Costco Tire Center

My wife got a flat tire one week after they were bought and installed at Costco tire shop of Eagan. She used an emergency repair kit out of a can so she could get home because this happened at night. That voided the tire warranty but after explaining the situation to the manager, he said they would cover it this time but we should use the spare and bring in the flat tire next time. I appreciate the manager listening to the story and working it out.

Needed to replace my old tires for a lengthy trip, though, was waiting for a seasonal rebate. Walked in at the busiest time just to see if the tires needed to be pre-ordered. While waiting at the unattended desk, Lucas Bell quickly came down to see if help was needed. In just about 7 minutes he gave me the run down of the options, checked the tires, prepared the paperwork and pulled my car for the service. By the time I approached the exit finishing my shopping they called me informing I was good to go. What a service! Plus I get to enjoy the upcoming tire rebate.

I went to get my tires' air replaced with nitrogen. Lucas, my service tech found out the wheels were not balanced properly. So he did that as well. I'm very happy with Costco's Tire Center in Eagan.

I always use Costco tire centers and have had excellent service. Recently had a balance issue. Lucas at Eagan figured it out. He is a quality guy who knows his stuff. I would not hesitate to use Eagan tire center again.

Sincerely, everyone was super helpful, very efficient, and when I had questions about stuff they really took the time to help me understand my options and provided (I think) very genuine and meaningful advice. I chatted with a couple people but specifically worked with Mark at the end (I believe manager), great guy. Kindness counts and I highly recommend this group.

They did a great rotations & balance also found a problem and corrected on my car. Thank you so very much . Costco tire Center Eagan , MN .....

Good customer service skills and fast installation of my tires.

Slow..4 tire change took awhile being the 1st vehicle in. 15 minutes a tire is a generous amount of time. They blew past that by an extra 35 minutes. The staff was friendly and a 3 star rating is spot on. Tip, you have to go inside to the tire counter to check in for your appointment.

I had a very poor experience at this Costco Tire in Eagan.
1. They scratched up my wheels with annoying cosmetic damage, made me fill out an incident report and promised a call back. No call. I called the manager Mark and he gave an excuse about a computer issue and promised that i'd get a call within 1-2 days. It's been about 2 more weeks, no call back. I give up.
2. I asked if it was OK to put balancing weights on the inside so they aren't so visible and Kevyn said it would be no problem and that he would do that. He didn't. The balancing weights were right there in plain sight on the outside of the wheel.
3. When I told them I would re-torque the lugs at pickup instead of driving back, I got a bunch of attitude and empty threats, then was blown off when I asked if they wouldn't cover warranty or... Not really treated with respect.
4. Finally, the icing on the cake was that they didn't take the time to at least wipe down the wheels and tires just a little bit before delivering the car back to me - they were covered in the bead lube or whatever product they use. I've never experienced this in any other tire shop.

Bottom line is that this tire shop does not take pride in their work, and fail to follow up when something goes wrong. I don't recommend.

I normally love Costco so didn't bother looking at reviews before booking. I bought winter tires online on October 28th, received a confirmation that they were delivered October 30th. Went into the tire center for my scheduled appointment November 12th to have them installed and waited 20 minutes while the staff searched for my tires. I was told that evidently the 3rd party vendor had changed warehouse locations and a lot of tire orders went missing. Asked to cancel my order and had to call the online number - now they said I can't cancel because it shows the tires were delivered and I have to wait for an investigation (so about $1000 I am out until they decide to refund me). I called Discount Tire, they came in $35 under Costco's price and confirmed in stock and ready to go no hassle. Go to Discount Tire instead of here!!

Wish I could give zero stars! Had my daughters tires done here two weeks ago, first off tires were late and they forgot they booked her that day. Now here is where it gets worse they damaged her passenger side door, took the paint off all the way down to the metal, I called was told fill out an incident report but please come tomorrow as we are short staffed, I was there in 10 minutes flat as I live close by, low and behold they had 5 plus people working. Filled out report two weeks later (today) the claims guy calls and says the managers can’t find anywhere on the video tape that the employee caused damage(they also told me while filing the report the manager will review but it actually gets sent to corporate to review, but the claims guy said it was only the store managers that reviewed it) it’s obvious the managers are covering for the employee who caused the damage. also when I was there before they had everyone’s rims against the cars doors! Definitely will be canceling my Costco membership. Beware of this location they will damage your vehicle. Worst experience at any tire center in my 42 years on this planet!

I love having a costco nearby, but I cannot recommend their tire center. Over a year ago I purchased snow tires and took up their offer of a free installation. Long story short, they destroyed one of my original tires and gouged a rim. They did replace the rim and gave me a discount on a new set of tires (which were not yet needed until they ripped mine apart). Suffice it to say, I spent a lot of time getting the replacement parts from my dealership and more money than I wanted on tires.

Fast forward to now. Everyone deserves a second chance, after all. I have a flat. The computer system is down, so they are unable to look up anything. I cannot be too angry at something out of their control, but, in my mind, it's a pattern now. I cannot trust them to help me when I need them the most.

They need to hire more help at the check in/service desk. You’ll be waiting a half hour with only one or two people in front of you which is insanely frustrating when you’re just trying to check in for a scheduled appointment.
