This was our first time here got the roadhouse juicy Lucy and omg amazing always made our own but to have theirs makes me feel like ameuture

The service is always great! Lisa, Jess, Tony always have a smile on their face and are super helpful! The food is always hot and accurate! The broasted chicken is the best we have ever had and has now become a staple in our meal rotation! Keep up the great work!

I've been here a few times over the Years - but this time was Awesome! Lisa the Server gave me a recommendation of the patty melt - the pickle chips - the onion rings - and the Best carrot 🥕 sticks and ranch! Love this place! And Lisa Rocked! Old School place families would love it..

The burgers were juicy and just perfect. Love the cheese in the middle. Not a fan of the bread but that's an easy fix. I just took off the top bun. Cheese curds were so good. I wanted to eat them all. Service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

Best burger I've had in a long time. So juicy and perfectly cooked. I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss burger and there was a great amount of cheese and mushrooms.

The restaurant is very clean and nice environment. Food came out quickly but service was just ok. Waitress wasnt friendly or talkative and never checked back.

My husband and I have eaten and drank here many times, and it has become our go-to place to take guests when they're visiting our part of town. My husband is a vegetarian and has no difficulty eating here. It's a cozy bar & restaurant that has the character of a good true story/history behind it. Prices are always reasonable and portions are generous.

We haven't visited in the evening/night so I can't speak to what the atmosphere is like at night, but in the afternoon it's quiet and servers are attentive without hovering. In our opinion it's the best bar in West Saint Paul, though it's not as though we've done an exhaustive survey; more just casually visiting places once or twice over the years.

If you're into burgers, you'll enjoy knowing that they make every single patty for that day in the morning, so they're never frozen and never more than a day old (we discovered this by inquiring about potential options for vegetarian burgers for my husband - unfortunately they didn't have ability to accommodate in that manner, but the menu had other veg options so it hasn't been an issue).

We both had the All You Can Eat Fish Fry and it was fantastic!! Got $12.99 you get Cole Slaw, Great Fries, and all the Fried Cod!! Great deal.

Sarah was fabulous. She took excellent care of our table.

The 5.50 burgers were fabulous too. They easily added toppings. Some with a small charge.

The waitstaff is very attentive and remembers what you have ordered in the past. It would be nice to be able to get a good grilled bun for the burgers. Otherwise the burgers are good as are the toppings for adding to them. Several more tap beers like Coors/Coors Light would be nice as would some more brews from local breweries.

Great food at great prices. Glad to find out there is multiple locations and not just the Cedar one. If you want some good bar food, this is your spot. Yum.

We were recently at the 5-8 Grill & Tap in West St. Paul. It is a great place for a casual night out. My wife and I each had burgers. Her favorite is the California Burger while I prefer either the Bacon Cheese Burger or the Juicy Lucy. Sometimes I have added bacon to the Juicy Lucy. It makes it a special burger. We would recommend the 5-8 Grill & Tap to anyone for a casual night out.

I got the roadhouse with blue cheese instead of American. This was a decadent treat sure to leave you speechless. Jojos were great as well. The staff was super friendly.

We are new to WSP, and we felt very welcome at 5-8 tonight! Our son is Deaf and autistic, so he has some peculiar behaviors, but we weren’t made to feel uncomfortable at all. It was a very warm and accepting experience. We moved up from Faribault where most of the restaurants in town know us and our son, Jack, so we look forward to being regulars at the 5-8 in our new community. Thank you!
Oh, and the food was simple, spectacular, and reasonably priced!
P.S. I also appreciate that you’re a Pepsi establishment!

They have an excellent Burger menu and their chicken is out of this world. They have a very friendly and courteous staff keep up the good work and stay safe.

First time we had breakfast at 5-8. Quality of food was excellent and price was great.

My husband and I come here once a week and we love the server and the ULTIMATE JO JOS!! It’s a great place to just kick back and chill !

Was surprisingly good! I want to go back! They made me a good bloodyMary!! And really good juicy Lucy! I loved how their sweet potato fries were made! Flat, wavy and crunchy. Their blue cheese sauce was sweet with blue cheese in there. I thought it was delicious my boyfriend would not like it because its sweet. Delicious! Will be going back!

Lisa always gives us the best service! We love coming in on Sundays for the broasted chicken special...

Hamburgers are very good. I am gluten intolerant and the gluten free bun is one of the best I’ve had. I also love the gluten free chicken poppers. Our server was very good, friendly helpful and knowledgeable.
