Petco

I don't typically go to this Petco, mostly just because I don't frequent this area of town.

I can say the staff was very helpful and kind.

When we came in there was a doggo being groomed. The dog look like it was having a good time and came out looking beautiful.

They had the cat food that I was looking for, and even the treats.
I got a few extra for my mother-in-law.

If you haven't already you can sign up for their rewards program. You can get some discounted prices and if you get the paid version you can get more money off.

Great store! I bought a bag of dog food only to find it was too heavy for me to carry. I called and exchanged it for 2 smaĺler bags, plus a card for the difference! All I had to do was bring the big bag back and someone came out and returned it back inside for me and do the exchange! Great help here.

I took my 2y/o Aussiedoodle here for a grooming appointment. It had been a while since his last professional cut so his coat was thick and a bit uneven from my at-home clean up attempts. His stylist (Olivia M) did an excellent job on his haircut! She also cleaned his teeth and trimmed his nails up great. I rebooked for next time. 😊

One of the Bloomington managers recommended the stores scoopable litter. I was never a scoopable fan, but I thought why not.
I have changed my mind, The litter is very inexpensive and I use less of it than I did of the Tity Cat litter. A must try product!!

The employees were pleasant and did care. I checked out the rluve reptiles. The employee did let me handle some or the snakes and they seemed OK other than under nutirioned. I am a professional snake handler so I know alot about our snake friends. The environment they live in needs a huge boast in humidity. Snakes get pain along their body's when the humidity is too low.

We went in to have our dog, Tansy, groomed and the ladies there LOVED on her so much and took such great care of her that we will be bringing her back in a month for another grooming. It has always been so hard for me to brush her teeth and clip her nails. They handle it wonderfully, like the pros they are!

rat stew is one of my favorite meals and this place has an excellent selection of ingredients to choose from. definitely my go to spot.

We visited the store soon as it opened. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful. We have a snake and we’re looking for some pretty specific items. He gave good recommendations and was very knowledgeable. Even though they hadn’t had their grand opening day he gave us the sale price. We live close in the area and visit there often. We bring our snake with us. Everybody loves her there!

They have everything I needed for my dogs. Very helpful staff

Mike is amazing! So very knowledgeable about the fish and helped me build and maintain the integrity of my fish tank. Thank you so much for the dedication and knowledge. It was very much appreciated for a newbie like me!

Petco in Bloomington is always kind to us! We have been going for shots, food, toys and most recently nail clipping and a face trim. Great knowledge staff and Ally is always so sweet!!

For grooming I recommend you see Katie.. Katie is fantastic with my puppy bear.

She is the only one ever to groom him and as long as she will do it, I hope that she will keep grooming him.

Additionally they've got great prices on dog food and toys, it is my one stop shop.

The entire staff at the grooming area and at check out could not have been nicer, more friendly and more professional. It was so busy and yet they took the time to be friendly and happy. Its a nice break from a lot of the crabby retail workers during the holiday. My friend and I actually commented to each other what a positive experience it was to shop there.

Nice clean store. The staff here is always wonderful! So very helpful and genuinely seem to want to help. My *only* complaint is it is a smaller store, so they have less available than other Petco's I've been too. Other than that, this location is one of my favorites.

This is my favorite Petco location. The store is always clean and well organized. The associates are both nice and knowledgeable. They've helped me get through water problems with a new aquarium as well as replacing a couple fish that died the day after they were put into the tank. They've always made me feel welcome and are good with my child whenever she comes into the store with me.

Naya at Bloomington Petco is excellent in every way. A+ customer service, great educator on my aquarium setup. Naya is a wonderful person to do business with.

We had two dog's groomed. One was very nervous, (he's one of those dogs, probably traumatized before we adopted him) and the groomer called to ask if we could pick him up and reschedule a time when it would be less busy so she could give him the VIP treatment which would be less stressful for him. Very much appreciated. Our other dog was fine, and since he is a white dog with long hair, we could definitely see the difference. Very bright white and super soft. The stylist, Cassandra in Bloomington, did a great job!

We had a great experience! It was out first time there in the Bloomington area and Sam gave us exceptional service! He really went above and beyond to help us with new foods for our cats. Really appreciated the time he gave us.

Great experience shopping in-store. Helpful associates showed me a great food option for my cats and introduced me to their loyalty program that recognizes care for my cats and offers discounts for food and litter.
