Holiday Camping Resort

Had the most wonderful Memorial Day weekend camping here! If I could rate it 10 out of 5, I would! Love the pool and playground for kids and US! Wonderful path through center of campground to get us right to the pool and playground quickly. The girls got henna tattoos which they still haven't stopped talking about. We were able to grab firewood near front desk using the honor system. Blown away by friendliness and customer service of campground employees. Certainly one of the best hidden gems.

First time here with my in-laws (The Floied’s) … brought our two dogs. It was dog friendly and the best campground we’ve been to. Super clean ! Shower house is nice, offers laundry room which was also clean. They have a dog run and we appreciated it very much and so did the dogs !! We enjoyed the heated pool! We will be back here from now on for our silver lake trips every year. Keep the hard work up 👍🏻

Also the owner and her friends don’t go around yelling… she enforces the rules and keeps it safe, family friendly, and makes sure kids are safe (This is coming from someone with no kids).

This place has cabin, tent, & trailer/RV campsites. The lots are nice & shady with super tall trees. The swimming pool is heated & there is a picnic area, volleyball court, & hiking trails. It is dog friendly with a fenced-in dog run. The bathrooms/showers were clean, and the staff was super friendly. There was an arcade, pool table, & air hockey table outside of the office. The camp "store" has lots of essentials in case you forget anything. I highly recommend Holiday Camping Resort if you want to be near Silver Lake, but not stay in that area.

Great place close to beach and other points of interests. Louis Farm is just done the street. Mac Wood dune rides nearby too.

Staff is AMAZING! Very helpful and accommodating to our group. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Let us use the group pavilion and set it all up for us and asked what we needed.

Affordably priced and very clean. While bathrooms are older they are very well maintained. Staff always available and present in park. The controls on the Game room machines are a little worn.

Pool was very nice and has an 8 foot end. Playground good as well.

Overall excellent, excellent place and highly recommend.

Our 5th time coming to this campground and its #1 in my book. Wont stay anywhere else. Awesome amenities for everything you would need for a great camping experience, the owner and staff are great!!! They work hard to make this a clean place for you to come to enjoy.

As an avid camper, I've been to many private and state park campground and this one is definitely at the top of my list. It was my first time here and I can truly say that my family and friends had a wonderful time camping at Holiday Camping Resort last week. The campsites have a lot of shade from trees, the bathrooms are super clean and well kept, and showers are great as well. There's a pool (didn't get to swim in it though) and a nice sized playground. They also have a laundry room that you can use. Check-in was easy and smooth with the email link they send a day before your arrival. The registration office also has a little store where they sell some necessities (even bags of ice!), as well as a little game room. Would definitely camp here again!

We have camped here 2 years in a row and just love it. If you are looking for a true hidden gem, this is it!
Beautifully tucked under towering pines, the resort is right off the highway - perfect for a home base while traveling to nearby beaches. It's quiet, well maintained, and welcoming. The staff is very friendly. It's also minutes from a fantastic family attraction - Lewis Farms & Adventure Park. The camp store was convenient, as were the laundry services. The pool is nice and clean. Our son enjoyed the playground.
The campground also has an app which is great for communicating events and activities both in the campground and in town. They were very proactive with taking action against COVID, which was comforting as a mother of 2 little ones.
We will absolutely be back and can not speak highly enough about this park. It is our annual getaway and we look forward to our next visit!

We just got home from staying a few days there and were most impressed. Staff was friendly with all we talked with. The site was a good size and it had room for our two vehicles plus no issues whatsoever with the hook ups. Wifi was great and no issues so we could do our online work. Pool looked great, didn't get a chance to use it because of our schedule , but bathrooms were always clean. Our site was next to and across from seasonal spots but no one was there but the seasonal people I did meet were most kind. Had a washout on Thursday night and Friday morning the grounds crew were out regrading the road and touching up some empty sites. If you are looking for a quiet campground with good services that is within decent drive of several attractions then this is the campground for you.

We have traveled and spent time in campgrounds all over America and hands-down, Holiday camping resort is our FAVE!
It is CLEAN, Well Maintained and QUIET! The HUGE solar heated pool is AMAZING.
The campground is set in a forest of pine trees with beautiful hiking trails.
We have been coming here for close to 40 years and enjoy it like our second home.

Friendly owners. Very well planned and maintained. Dog friendly with a small fenced dog area. Activity areas and nice playground equipment to challenge a good age range of young people. We were only there for an event and one night but enjoyed the location very much.

Our favorite campground, been coming here for 37+ years. Very well run and laid out, nice wooded shaded well spaced sites, clean bathrooms, wi-fi, heated inground pool, nice playground, pavillion, fenced dog run and wooded hiking trails. Well kept and quiet, friendly owner and staff, great for families or folks looking to get away and relax. Sites have electric, most have water and some have sewer.

Easy to get to off paved road just down from highway, many nearby attractions; stony lake stables, Lewis farm, country dairy, hart Montague bike trail, cherry point, silver lake sand dunes, little Sable light house, happy Mohawk canoe livery, etc

We love Holiday! I can’t say enough great things about this campground. The location is perfect, right off the highway- close to the Silver Lake Dunes and Lake Michigan. We love the beautiful tall pines, spacious spots, large pool and super clean restrooms. Joni and her team are so helpful! They even have fun activities on the weekends. A perfect place for a family vacation!

We were on a bicycing trip and came in late in the afternoon while it was raining. Staff waited up for us and were VERY courteous. The laundry/shower/bathroom facilities were wonderful. The whole place is kept up beautifully. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for cyclists on Hart Montague Trail/ US Bike Route 35!

We had our annual family camping trip here this weekend and this is by far the best campground we have been to. We took over the group site which was large enough for our tents, campers, vehicles and shenanigans. The bathrooms and showers were the cleanest we have ever seen. The people who run the grounds were so polite. They do an amazing job at keeping the grounds really nice. A couple of my family members took over the cabins also and they were so clean and cozy. The prices are reasonable too! I hope to camp here again.

This campground is absoltuely now one of our favorites! The staff runs a wonderful and family friendly campground. The pool is fantastic. The sites are spaced out nicely, and the trees give everything a rustic feel and just add to the experience. This also serves as a wonderful base location to head to any number of nearby attractions, including Silver Lake, Muskegon, and a slew of beaches along Lake Michigan. We absolutely loved it here, and will definitely return in the future.

We went camping here with a group of friends this weekend and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly, the campground was clean. The kids loved the pool and the playground, and the store was pretty convenient. There is WiFi, water hookups and electrical hookup. Overall a great experience and we are already talking about going back. I would recommend this campground

We liked it so much we stayed for a month. Friendly staff, super clean restrooms and showers, wonderful heated pool and fun times in the game room. It's a family campground so it's quiet at night, no loud music or rowdy people, just friendly happy campers. There are a lot of fun things to do in the area as well, I recommend Mac Woods Dune Rides at Silver Lake.

Very clean and well maintained campground. The sites are large and shaded. It is very close to the sand dunes but without the chaos. Very very quiet and peaceful there. The staff was friendly and took great care of everything. This campground is top notch in my opinion and I will be sure to recommend it to others.

Absolutely wonderful Campground! The owners and employees are wonderful. They have ice and fire wood right on site. No real reason to have to go far. The camp store is well-stocked and the whole campgrounds is very peaceful! The sites have great amenities. The only thing i well mention is that a lot of fire rings are in the ground. This place is only 15 to 20 minutes away from just about everything you could want to do in the area. All the facilities are very clean and well maintained. For all the people who are coming here to actually Camp another huge thing is even when the campgrounds is full it is still pretty quiet!

Very pleasant owner and staff.
Sites are nice, electric for tents and full hookup sites for rv.
Rates are a bit steep but seems like all camping has increased in cost.

Not far from 31N and 20 minutes to Silver lake.
