I love this restaurant, upbeat atmosphere, friendly host, and amazing food. I recommend trying it out, you will love it

Booze was poured heavily. Chips, salsa, and queso- delicious. We had a wide selection of menu choices represented at our table and they were all tasty! We will be back the next time we come into town!

I couldn't say ENOUGH about Chapala's!! The food is top notch! The customer service is phenomenal! The general atmosphere of the building is absolutely the best I've encountered yet. They always have music going, there are always smiling faces, delicious drinks and even better food! You couldn't ask for a better place to go to eat!!
If you can only stop on at one place in Mora I recommend stopping here.
Take your time looking through the menu, and if you can look it up before hand because there are SO MANY options and EVERYTHING is so good I can't even say enough about it! I NEED to try everything at least once!!
And the drinks!!! Oh my, I haven't had a better (or bigger) margarita ANYWHERE!!!
Take the time to thoroughly order what you want, some of the employees don't speak fluent English but it's really no issue! Just take a second or two and speak clearly and slow down. At the end to double check your order and everything will be the BEST!!

We had a great dinner. Loved my food the hubby’s was great too. Loved the look of the place! Loved the art work. And the bathroom was warmest bathroom, LOVED that. The drink was delicious. Our waitress was sweet as can be.

This lovely little Mexican restaurant is the newest edition to the Mora, MN food scene!.

The inside is charming decorated in a traditional Mexican style with warm and bright colors! It is cheerful and welcoming!!

Cristina is one of the staff working at this little gem and she is AMAZING! She always seems to have a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eye as she is taking and delivering orders!! Such a delightful person!!

The food is OUTSTANDING!! So many delicious Mexican dishes from which to choose! They even have a vegetarian section to the menu with veggie fajitas that shouldn't be missed.

If you are looking for a charming dining experience with amazing food, please check out Chapala!! I'm sure it will become a favorite!!

Don't forget a margarita and a yummy dessert!!

If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, this place has it!! The food was delicious, hot & they have big portions! The service was quick & friendly. I would definitely recommend & my husband & I would go again. It was my first time, but my husband had been a couple of other times.

P.S. Tamales is not on the food options I recommend. My husband loves them & definitely recommends them!

Seriously, amazing food and faster service than a fast-food drive-thru. My favorite is the burritos mexicanos and my husband loves the chimichangas. What I really live for is the queso on top.

The food was fantastic. The portions were big, couldn't eat it all.

People here are super nice and they're really fun to chat with on slow moments.

We visited the restaurant in Mora. Love the authenticity of this place. Margaritas are strong and BoMb! Food is very good with an extensive menu. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food! The only thing we have gotten from here is the Parrillada. It is a meal for 2 (but feeds at least 5)! Its basically like a fajita hot pan with a ton of fajita veggies with steak, chicken, chorizo, shrimp and carnitas on it. Ridiculously good, and has become one of our favorite spots as we head north to the cabin. Chips and salsa are delicious, and the service is great! Right off 65, it is easy to get to going north!

Outstanding food, service could use a little work but still above average. Given the space available they do their best to provide a comfortable atmosphere.

Our family stopped in on our way back from up north. Great chips and salsa, queso, burritos. Would definitely go back if we find ourselves traveling through again.

Finally a small town restaurant that gets it right! Just because there's a lack of variety available doesn't mean the food can be sub par. Definitely NOT the case at Chapala. Let's start with the basics first though. The service was wonderful, very kind and attentive from start to finish. Great atmosphere, very cozy and clean. We visited late after a long day on the lake. so parking was not an issue at all. Now, the reason I wanted to make sure to leave a review: The food there is THE best, most authentic Mexican food we've had in ages. The menu has many options and combinations to choose from, as well as a la carte items. We both went with our favorites, enchiladas. The chicken used in the enchiladas was so moist, but not mushy nor dry like so many others you would find. The rice was perfect, flavorful and delicious. Certainly not full of ketchup-y flavor like we often run across. Truly pleased with the entire experience and plan on returning if we find ourselves in the area again. This place is truly a gem!

Food is excellent. I go for the chimis. It's tough tho to place an order with only Spanish speaking waiters. Also the dining area gets very loud with those big margaritas on tables!
