Silver Lake State Park Boat Launch

Enjoy the park immensely as elderly patrons enjoying the kids at play, and at times making campground rounds making friends along the way. However, was rudely given the threat of a ticket if seen again in the campground ever again. We at times have friends that camp at the parks campground. The least would be to give out guest passes. We do have state park stickers.
There are a few large dead overhead limbs and branches in need of removal before someone gets injured or worse in both sides of the road campgrounds. For the most part, the park rangers are respectful and courteous. Even developed a few friendships amongst them. They know who we are. Thank you for this opportunity to voice our sincere observations. Dave n Joyce

Vey nice boat ramp. Went out early on a Friday not too crowded. Went tubing and climbed the dunes. Great fun for the family. Restrooms and picnic areas on site.

I wish my wife would let me live on that side of the state so I wouldn't have to visit

Had a blast for 2021 fireworks. Used the state park for launch, leaving was kinda rough since it only has 2 ramps.
Overall nice lake, nice boat launch.

The lake is nutz during the day. Some walley or perch to be caught in the late evenings. Boat launch is well maintained. Again nutz during the day.

Nice place to grill out and enjoy the water with the family. Nice park, easy to find, the rest rooms could use more frequent cleaning!

Great launch but often the lots are full and people just walk away from their trailers and block the wait line
