Hill & Hollow Campground & RV Park

We absolutely love this campground. It is great for families or campers without kids. The mature trees and foliage between each site makes it feel like camping yet the full hookups make camping easier. Bathrooms are super clean. Pool is awesome. Go carts are a blast, ice cream for sale right at the campground, quiet at night…. What’s not to love about this campground?!!!

Fantastic stay at this campground! The staff is friendly and on top of maintenance every day. They have a lot of fun providing a wonderful atmosphere for family camping. The spots are less manicured than a KOA, but have been leveled for the most part, and the sand is raked after checkout. With big beautiful trees separating the sites and paths in between, this is an ideal campground for family reunions. Quiet hours start late at 11pm, but once the clock strikes, even with full sites, it was dead quiet, and remained that way until about 8am. The bathroom and shower house are well cleaned every day, and the pool was great. Volleyball, pingpong, basketball, and a playground round out the offerings, next to the well stocked camp store. Lots of chipmunks and squirrels, and we did have a raccoon one night, so make sure you are picking up food and trash. So, so glad we got to stay here and enjoy this campground!

We have been camping for a few yrs now with our kids and this campground is amazing!! This biggest thing is how clean it was, Iv been to some clean campgrounds, this campground is huge and everything is so well kept! So many place to sit and watch the kids play! The POOLS were both heated, one more than the other but they were heated!! AJS is an added bonus if you bring your wallet, witch is one of the reasons we chose the campground for the kids! The arcade had tons of well running games that Iv never seen before! The putt putt course was very well tended too and very intricate and fun! Each store was well stocked with lots of options for anything you need. We drove around the other side and each site looked flat and nice and shaded. My only suggestion would be to put some sort of path/line when walking across the road to get to each side. This campground is huge and they are doing an amazing job, we will be adding HHCG to our yearly summer camping adventures 😍

Great place for families! Incredibly kid and pet friendly

There are two sides to the campground, both have a pool and bathhouse. They also own AJ's which has putt-putt golf, go-carts, and an ice cream parlor. Only complaint is that there are no swings on the property and no restaurant for meals.

It's about a 5min drive from downtown Pentwater. There's no sidewalks between the campground and downtown. I went for a run along that main road but cars went so fast, I turned around and simply jogged around the campsites instead.

This campground is open for tent camping and RV camping, but they also have wooden cabins for rent (minimum night stays apply in the busy months).

Overall, I definitely recommend staying at H&H!

This is one of the most up kept and clean campgrounds that I have visited in the state. Visited east camp. Gated entry/exit, small gift convince store up front, basketball, baseball areas next to heated pool. Bathrooms well maintained along with showers, push button timer on/off. Pool has shade, tables, chairs, etc. Campground we stayed in had electric and water. Fire ring was cleaned and not overflowing with ash. Was quite busy the weekend we stayed 6/9/23. Kids can roam safely on roads with bikes. Attached to the grounds was amusement park, playgrounds go carts, arcade, picnicking area, ice cream, etc. Everything is here but lake Michigan.

He had an amazing weekend. The Aspen cabin was perfect and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. The staff was polite and the store was very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed AJ’s Fun Center. We will definitely be back!

We spent three nights at this large RV park - very well spaced and lots of vegetation in between each site. The office is very helpful. And it is only minutes from downtown Pentwater. Perfect for family with kids. We had an issue with our motorhome and Aron took a look at it and helped us find a repair shop. Thanks again for a great stay

We have been coming to this campground yearly several summers now! Very nice, clean, hardly any mosquitoes (and I’m a mosquito magnet) and centrally located between Pentwater, ludington and silver lake. This year we had some family camp with us who loved it just as much as we do-they already booked for next year as well!

No campsites are the same, each one is unique on their own! Sites are very roomy. They even have the AJs arcade/go cart and putput next to it. Lots of things to do even when it’s raining. If you go here, make sure to stop by at the Bortells fishery nearby and have lunch/dinner at the summit park near it.

This is one of the best campgrounds we’ve gone and I am so glad we are able to start a camping tradition at hill and hollow with the rest of our family on this campground!

We were looking to shorten our drive to Silver Lake sand dunes and found this campground. Staff was polite. The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean, pool was clean and warm. The putt putt golf and go karts next door were fairly priced. Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. We will stay here again.

Excellent campground. Very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were cleaned multiple times a day. Showers were hot and clean. The sites are large and give you some privacy with the natural green space in between them. The staff was friendly and helpful. AJ's next door was a hit for our family to putt-putt golf, go carts and enjoy ice cream together.

First time at Hill and Hollow. We made weekend reservations for a tent site and unfortunately the weather forecast changed to rain. The management was very helpful in getting us into one of their very nice cabins “ The Aspen”. The cabin, showers, and campground were very clean and organized and it was also nice and quite after dark there. We will definitely be going back.

WHAT A NICE FAMILY CAMPGROUND!! Lots of sites, great General Store, friendly staff, peaceful, close to many activites, from shopping, restaurants, sand dunes, beaches and more. Connected to AJ''s Family Fun Center with, Arcade, Putt Putt, Go Karts and Ice Cream. We will definitely return.

This is the best campground in America! Go-karts, arcade, ice cream, arcade, pool, basketball court, ping-pong, sand volleyball, horseshoes, hiking trails, and everything else! We always look forward to staying here.

5 mins from Mears State Park beach!

Very nice Campground! Sites are very roomy for long trailers and for your vehicle. Some have room for W or more vehicles. Lots of trees so you feel like you are still in the forest.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.

Super clean!

The staff is super friendly, other campers are friendly and there is plenty to do for kids and teens.

The sites are spacious with lots of trees and hiking trails.

The campstore is super cute and has all the last minute stuff if you forgot to bring something.

We will be back! The only thing that would make this awesome place better would be a dog run or park to allow the dogs to run in an inclosed area.

I have been going to this park almost every summer since I was 15 (I am in my 40’s now). After I had a family of my own I continued the tradition of bringing them there . The staff is friendly, the sites are nice. Best of all everything is CLEAN! Bathrooms, pool, common areas. They make a real effort to keep things nice. The park isn’t real buggy (bonus)! Lots for kids to do- my boys loved the pool,basketball and mini golf. I hope the park stays in business for years to come- maybe my kids will bring their kids.

We have been looking for a new place to camp on the west side of Michigan. We took a chance and booked hill and hollow. I must say, this is probably one of the best laid out campgrounds ive stayed at. I dont think there is a bad site in the whole park. Clean sites, multiple sewer connections on one site. Each site is some what secluded from the next and generally quiet. Price is a little on the high side. But definitely worth every penny. A+

Neatest, cleanest campground around the area. The available activities are great. Basketball, volleyball, a pool, AJ's gocarts, camp store. Just a great place for family camping. Halloween weekend is SO MUCH FUN!

Will be going back in the fall. Really nice sites. Level and gravel where we stayed towards the back. Pretty quiet during the week. Got busy on the weekend but still wasn’t too loud. People enjoying being outside. Looked like the sand volleyball court, basketball court and pool area were all in good shape, although I didn’t use them personally.
