I had an incredible experience working with Nexus Holidays. Teresa, the agent with whom I worked, was extremely helpful and responsive. The process of getting a Chinese Visa in Chicago when you live far away can be q struggle. I was glad I could find Nexus Holidays because their services were timely, affordable, and reliable. One situation I must highlight was when UPS delayed the delivery of my documents. Even though it was a Saturday afternoon and she obviously didn't have any obligation to do that, Teresa stayed overtime to wait for the package and called to inform it hadn't been delivered. She knew I was working on a tight schedule and did everything she could to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend Teresa and Nexus Holidays! Only because I could count on their support, now I have my passport with my Chinese visa and am getting ready to travel to China within the next few week.

Wow. Just WOW. Nexus Holidays is amazing. My wife and I booked the 12 day China wonders tour. Twelve days in China for $2599?!? For TWO people?!? Including air fare?! Truly mind blowing. Nexus staff were extremely helpful every step of the way. The guy we dealt with (Thomas) was extremely knowledgeable. He was like our personal concierge. Do we need passports? Call Thomas. What about Visas? Call Thomas. How long will we be in the lingering garden? Call Thomas. It actually became a running joke between me and my wife. Trip was a blast. Cloisonne factory was highlight for us, we're Cloisonne buffs. If you're looking to travel the world without spending an arm and a leg, run don't walk to Nexus Holidays.

I would not trust this company. I bought the 10 days china tour for 10 family members in Nov 2017 for Nov 2018 trip; received email confirmation; sent passport info and credit card charged in Dec, but for no reservation codes. In may 2018 get a email that the staff member who I worked with left company and they are tracking down my reservation. After multiple emails (many with no response), multiple calls I had to initiate with assurances; never get a reservation codes. They ask for me to send in passports and show evidence of payment in July-ish. By this time I am livid. They tell me sorry the dates you booked for are no longer available. I ask for refund they agree but never do! In August I dispute with credit card company. After 60 days they still don't respond and credit card company refunds my approx $7k. This is the absolute worst experience, we don't get the vacation we paid for no information and misinformation, no follow-through and no initiative to fix customer issue. how can you trust them in a different country?

DO NOT WASTE TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. I found a deal with them on TravelZoo for the $399 China 5 city tour. I thought things were a little odd in even attempting to book it on line because I received an error message twice after entering my info. I ended up receiving a confirmation email that I had reserved a spot, but payment was required to book. I was also required to submit photos of my passport. I did not think getting passport info was odd, but no one had ever asked for copies to book a trip. In any case, I decided to call the offices before booking with any questions that I had. Upon calling, I spoke with WENDY LIU. She was friendly during the call, but when the discussion of payment came about, she seemed to really push payment via check. They apparently carry a policy to charge 4% on credit cards used for purchase to deter that from happening. I found that a little odd, but who isn't interested in saving more money. I told her that was no problem. She told me that she would be sending my invoice and instructions for payment via email. While waiting, I remembered that I wanted the points on my card, so I sent her an email requesting that I receive instructions for payment via credit card since I changed my mind. At this point, she was slower in responding and then returned my message at 1:30 by telling me that she could send me an invoice on Monday because they have training today from 3-5pm. Naturally, I was confused because I was led to believe that she was here in Chicago , in which case, I'd assume she would have more than enough time to create the invoice and get me booked. I responded to her email by explaining that I Was confused as to why we could not get an invoice today especially when the deal was expressly promoted as needing to be booked by Nov. 9th(today) to get the deal. I asked if the price would still be available on Monday and she never replied. Since the introduction of paying with a credit card seemed to slow her down, I thought this is suspicious, so I looked into reviews and just saw horror stories. I'm glad now that they did not get my payment info, but feel genuinely worried that they have my passport info. I feel it is definitely important to warn others. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO. I dread to think of people sending their banking info. Spread the word and travel safe out there!

I never use travel agencies and for good reason. My family decided to go to Nexxus to book a family trip to Vietnam and Guangzhou. This morning, my family and I got to the airport ready to check-in. The airline agent wasn't able to find my reservation. I called Nexxus to find out where my reservation was. (This was 10am and I had to get my bag checked in by 11am or I would miss my flight). The woman on the phone kept saying she will fix it and will call me back. It is now 11:20am and I already missed my flight. The woman from Nexxus says that her manager is out of town and she cannot do anything. She found me a flight and told me to pay for it and I can deal with them when I come back. I did not want that headache anymore so I decided to book my own flight for the next day. As I was on my way home, the manager from Nexxus - ERIC MOK - calls me. He told me that he remembers me. I was with 2 friends to get my ticket. (Mind you, I was by myself and I have no friends going on this trip.) Then he proceeds to say I called in to cancel my ticket and he has record of it. Even if there was a cancellation, don't you notify someone that it is cancelled? He then says he is not in the office and will go in to check his records. He calls back and says my brother cancelled my flight. (My brother did not) Even if my brother cancelled flight, why would you authorize it? and why would you NOT notify the person whose flight was booked that someone cancelled it?

Poor customer service by the agents AND even worse, the MANAGER. Does not take ownership for their own mistakes. Makes customer feel worse due to their own wrongdoing.

I will never come back and I do not wish anyone I know to come here either. Save yourself the trouble and go to Oceania.
