Excellent service, and a wonderful selection of food and drinks. ADA compliant, easy in, easy out and compatible seating. Even outdoor patio seating! Very warm and inviting atmosphere, and extremely conveniently located across the street from the Metra station. Plenty of parking too!

First time at this Starbucks and I love the special interior design of this Starbucks Reserve theme. Plenty of seating options. a/c is cold. Baristas are friendly, enthusiastic and fast to get your drinks. UPDATE as of Feb 07, 2024, by phone call confirmation, THIS IS NO LONGER A STARBUCKS RESERVE STORE. When it did have the Starbucks Reserve specialty drinks, I tried the Shakerato Bianco with one extra shot and it was so much more flavorful and rich than my usual 5 espresso shots over ice and dissolved raw sugar drink that I always order. Must be the Demerara syrup and sweet cream they add to make it the Shakerato.
A little pricey if you do run into a Starbucks Reserve Store but I highly recommend it, you won't regret it. Worth every penny.

While enjoying an afternoon visit in lake forest.. I stopped by this Starbucks. It was clean, friendly and efficient. The staff were in a happy mood & the space was very relaxing. Love the patio and that this is a reserve location.

Bartista was super kind and sweet! Gave my nephew a cookie (he made a new friend). Its split into 5 stories. I recommend the Afogato (2nd floor). 3rd floor has specialties like the Guatemalan Barrel aged whiskey (has no alcohol) but is the one of the best coffees i have had. The 5th floor is a small patio that overlooks the city. It is outside with no cover.

Love how they kept the outside of this store to fit the scenery and the location. As soon as you walk in, super awesome modern looking store. Great layout, excellent partners, very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. Try the Reserves!

Really great Starbucks location to try specialty reserve coffees! The place was super packed when we went at 9:30 on a Saturday, to be expected. The man who took our order was so patient and kind and even gave us a free drink to try that we were curious about! Made our day 😀

The reserve is great but is not always running. The staff are great. The set up is particularly neat here with the industrial facade and concrete map wall. The ambiance changes dramatically as school lets out and the kids come in.

Quick service. Nice drinks.

As for Starbucks, best one I've ever patronized. The atmosphere doesn't feel cookie cutter and corporate. I was served a double espresso in an actual cup with a free chaser of San Pell on a nice wooden tray. Nicely done Starbucks.

Was passing through Lake Forest and needed my morning cup of coffee and decided to stop in. First off, wow, this location is beautiful. Everything from the layout, to the furniture, to the decor, is aesthetically pleasing and elegant. I wish there was more locations like this in downtown Chicago.

Fantastic location with a wonderful menu! The service is really great and the baristas always have something awesome to recommend! Only downside is the lack of indoor table-space during peak hours.

It's a fancy schmancy Starbucks in upscale Lake Forest, and they pull it off well. Definitely one of the most high-end coffee shops in the chain with lots of speciality brewing equipment and limited edition blends available for $7, $8, it more pet cup. Fortunately, they also have all the usual selections at typical Starbucks prices. TIP: Stop by to get your regular fix and come back when you're ready to redeem your stars for a free drink. Last summer they had a bourbon-barrel aged ice coffee that was priced in the stratosphere but tasted amazing.
The service is generally pretty good. Always friendly and professional. Occasional mistakes that they are very helpful about fixing. Not surprising to encounter some mix-ups given how busy they get -- especially on Sundays after church lets out.
The courtyard in back it's terrific, often filled with a mix cyclists and dogs on the weekends.
If Starbucks coffee is in your rotation and you're in the area, this is definitely worth checking out.

This is a classy place and the Reserve Bar is a HUGE credit to Lake Forest. The employees are super friendly and have forgotten more about coffee than I'll ever know. A delicious and unique selection makes for a must-visit location for coffee/Starbucks fans.

Yes, this is just a Starbucks like the John Hancock is just a building. This is among the best SBUX stores. Free parking for 90 minutes on the street right in front and up and down the block. Tons of seating, and great fireplace if you’re lucky enough to find that table open.

This is absolutely the nicest Starbucks I've ever been in. The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is great. Airy, clean, pretty, beautiful fireplace, lovely outdoor seating area, and a relaxed vibe. Love it!
