Scorz Bar & Grill

It is located in the beautiful downtown of Mt. Vernon. The burger was delicious! The atmosphere was a little retro, with a young vibe, with Cornell College just a few blocks away.

We had a big group, and our server was awesome! Food was good, pretty reasonable prices!

Best place to watch the game or fights. Good food, staff is great. More TVs than buffalo. Locally owned. One of my favorites!

What a fun little bar and grill in quaint and picturesque Mount Vernon, Iowa. The daily special today was a most delicious meatloaf with creamy mashed potatoes and a refreshing lemonade.
The history of the building as told in the menu was absorbing and interesting. Kudos to the owners for their perseverance.
Be sure to stop and feed your tummy as well as your adventurous spirit!

The Scorz burger was delicious

Ordered a patty melt with fries on a Saturday afternoon. It was a nice experience and a quiet lunch atmosphere with a few basketball games on the television. Prompt service as well.

My first time at Scorz. Was there for lunch. Had a grilled chicken bacon ranch sandwich and curly fries. It was excellent! I will definitely have it again.

The workers here are so nice always!!! I really appreciate there food also. My friends always come here for a good middle of the day snack.

Tend to stop by every other sunday, food reasonable price, atmosphere is alluring unlike most bars, went in their & asked cook for 9 slices of tomatoes cooked in salt/pepper they didn't make a fuss they smiled & said absolutely

Good food and drinks, also service. Only had 1 negative experience and it was handled in excellent fashion. Highly recommend when looking for drinks or bar food.

You don't have many choices in the surrounding area, but Scorz is super friendly, plus they have one of the cutest bartenders. Sample the menu, the food is good!

Always a good time at Scorz great atmosphere, people and food. Definitely worth paying a visit if you haven't!
