Algers Pizza Palace

We were the only ones dining in at lunch. The breadsticks were delicious, marinara and ranch sauces very good. The taco deep dish pizza came out looking amazing and tasted even better! Our medium seemed to be more like a large. Crust was excellent. Our waitress even gave our two kiddos quarters for the toy machine while we waited for our food! And when my son tried the dessert sticks he said it was the tastiest thing he'd ever had! The owner even popped out to say hello - it was a great experience. We will be ordering from Algers again.

The pizza was amazing, it wasn't to bad on price, but I paid for my pizza with a debit card and gave a genorous 30% cash tip to our waitress and they decided to charge my debit card more for a tip after we left. Please be careful and make sure you only get charged the amount of your check. That is a form of theft if you ask me. Good pizza, but probably won't go back after that.

Best pizza ever, cheese bread is oh yum. We get it as often as we can, serve it to our of town guests, and always fun to go in and check out the mural. Seriously good pie!

Delicious pizza with a heavenly crust. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. Medium pizza was more than two of us could eat and with drinks it was less than $20 a great value.

If you have never been here you should go. I am normally a thin crust girl, I got deep dish meat lovers and our was by far the best pizza. Melissa was wonderful and the service was spectacular. Give this place a try. Don't go there and expect our in 5 minutes. Great food deserves to be cooked the right way. I had great company and enjoyed everything about Alters Pizza Palace.

On a road-trip, ordered large three-topping pizza. Not quite as "large" as I thought it would be (and no, I wasn't expecting huge, but here in PA, it would count as "medium"). Pizza was ready promptly; tasted great. Wish I knew some of the local people: looked like they were having a great time talking. Much better atmosphere than what I'm accustomed to at home.

I really liked that their crust wasn't too crusty and had a sweet buttery flavor. We are looking forward to trying the thin crust.

Great pizza, friendly staff, and clean. Couldn't ask for anything more! But definitely better pizza than the usual cheap fast carry out.

Good pizza. They told me that they make their crust from scratch. The ingredients on the pizza looked good. The taco pizza was really good. Overall, a good experience.

I don't usually like pizza but Alger's pizza is very good!! We ordered a deep dish Hawaiian pizza and their dessert sticks. The dessert sticks melt in your mouth. The pizza dough is crisp and fluffy and the toppings are not overbearing like the others I've had in other pizza places. This Mount Vernon gem is delightful.

Awesome food. Friendly staff. The chicken wings were amazing. Reasonably priced. Perfect for the college kids in town. Very happy with my experience here.

I have loved this place for 25 years, do not stop without getting a LG order of breadsticks they are AMAZING. Also make sure you find all the hidden items on the mural on the wall, dinner and entertainment for the all.

When I was a child I used to come here with my friends after football game’s and had the best memories last Sunday I came in with my family and the service was still wonderful along with the blt. pizza and breadsticks!Thank you for more memories, it was a blast from the past

The best pizza crust you've ever had. It's nice to have my favorite pizza only 10 minutes away.

Great deep dish pizza. The cheesy bread is also great. Would recommend to anyone that wants pizza.

The best small town pizza around. Order one with everything...and I mean everything. With sauerkraut and pineapple, you won't be disappointed.
