D. Boones Country Store & Cafe

OMG!!! This place is wall to wall extremely good looking law enforcement males of various ages. I didn't want to leave, I was enjoying the views all around me.
The food was very good as well.
It was also served surprisingly fast for the amount of people who were ordering. They had a to go line and a for here line.
I had 2 cups in a row, who's bottoms were cracked and leaking. No one said anything about me switching out my cups for new ones and they gave me a LARGE handful of paper towels to clean out my cup holders.
This was my 1st time here...you can bet "I'll be back" 🤣

Walking into D. Boones is like coming home. This place is wonderful. The staff is welcoming, personable, and friendly. They make you feel as if you are part of the family. Not only do they have a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but it is also a super safe place. You can always find at least one DPS Trooper inside or close by. It's wonderful!

They have a dining section for the café and a separate section for the store. The convenience store stocks most things any convenience stores carry, and there are a variety of items on their menu in the café.

Everything I've ordered here is delicious and tastes like a comforting home-cooked meal.

I stop by numerous times throughout the week for gas, to grab a bite, or just to snag something from the store. If you find yourself in Florence or just passing through, be sure to swing into D. Boone's and enjoy their small town warm and welcoming hospitality.

The food was unique and extremely tasty! Very personable and definately a family atmosphere... This place is without a doubt the (opposite) of a chain restaurant. Looking forward to my next visit! ☺

If you're looking for a home cooking hamburger when going through town, this is the place to stop. It was nice that they have the bar for the customers to add what items they want on their hamburgers and how much they want to add, unlike the fast food joints.

A down home type restaurant on one side and convenient store on the other. The breakfast platter and coffee was excellent. The biscuit is huge. Less than $10.

My favorite gas station to stop at omw to Austin. I love the vibe of that old country store feel with regulars and the old school hanging out grabbing breakfast.

This is a great convenience store and gas station. The quick-service cafe is really good too they have great chicken tenders. And their prices are pretty good too. I only put top-tier gas in my car and they offered Valero gas which is good. The entire store is clean and well-thought-out. The bathrooms are well-stocked and comfortable and clean. But what I like most is the service. Older adults can be indifferent, polite or just plain unfriendly but everyone here was very helpful and cordial. Also they employ a few teenagers from the local Florence Community I'm assuming. And they are very well-mannered and helpful and eager to work hard and provide good service. I can't wait till I'm in the area again so I can come back here and give them my business. The local community is lucky to have this place. But also this place is a reflection of the local community and I guess that's why it has such good hospitality.

It's inside a gas station. That being said, my family and I really enjoyed the food! Everything was hot, and it came out really quickly! I would definitely choose this over fast food options given the choice!

This place is a hidden treasure! First time I have ever been there, and the staff was nice and very helpful. Everything was clean and well kept, and I recommend getting there before the rush crowd. 😃
If I remember correctly, I arrived at 1 PM, and was taken care of quickly. The prices were great, and the food was delicious.

Best food in the area ...better than Cracker Barrel!!!

Walked in to pay for my gas and that was it. Everyone was nice including the customers.

If you're nervous to be in close proximity to police officers, then don't go. If that doesn't bother you, then it is well worth the time to stop in and get something to eat. An amazing staff, with equally great food. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spent there.

Stopped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. Eggs bacon and biscuits and gravy were on point!! The biscuit was light and fluffy. Prices were very reasonable.

Great little store that I saw has good catfish and burgers and sandwiches.

Moved out here to my land close to this establishment, and let me tell you, It's a hometown kinda feeling when you go in there!

Their Chicken Fried Chicken, Bacon Cheeseburger, Club Sandwich, Chef Salad, and BLT are the absolute best!!! The staff is so friendly has a personal family touch!!
