Shoney's - Crossville

I enjoyed a salad with several trips for fish, steak and fried shrimp. The waitress was extremely attentive, friendly, and she even brought me a bottle of lemon juice to add to my water. A large gravel parking lot has room for several large trucks and permission was granted for overnight parking.

Great waitresses, good food, and one great customer who asked for my lunch bill and paid for my wife and my lunch. I was overwhelmed with his kindness in recognizing my service in the Army. I was honored to shake his hand and thank him for his graciousness. Thank you, Shoney's!!!

It was exactly as I'd come to expect from Shoney's. Clean ambiance, comfortable seating, great food and excellent service. We all got the Bkfst Buffet, there were no regrets; it was delicious! Bravo, Shoney's!!!

Everything my wife and myself had was good food all of it was good and warm that we had the people at the tables around us all spoke to each other the atmosphere was out of this world everybody said Merry Christmas who was the gentleman behind me I don't know who it was when he left he paid our bill and never said a word we didn't even know it but all in all we had a 100% great evening the way to lose went out of their way to help my wife she had trouble swallowing and so we had to hang around there for like an hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours to let her eat slow they said don't worry about it anything we can do for you let us know they came back to our table several times to see how my wife was doing and access if we needed anything the people at the table next to us had a conversation with us that was really nice and that guy behind us did talk to us didn't say a whole lot nice gentleman he had a long beard there was a lot of gray in it he had long hair he looked like he was about 65 or 70 it was there may have been gray in his beard but to myself and my wife he was our Santa Claus this year so Merry Christmas to everyone

Shoney's no longer has a presence in many areas that I travel. Whenever I'm in an area where there is one I try to take advantage and reminisce about my childhood family meals on the road. We went in for a Sunday breakfast bar and this one met my expectations. The only thing that was not as I remembered was there was no cheese sauce on the hot bar. They had a hard time keeping up with the demand for bacon and waffles. Following all the experience was excellent and as I remembered. Service was right on time with refills for drinks and clearing plates. Food was the quality expected in a buffet. I will be back in this area in January and I will return when I am back in town.

The employees are always so friendly and helpful! Buffett is pretty good and kept fresh.

Had a wonderful meal. I only gave four stars on the food because two of my favorite foods had wheat flour in it and I'm allergic to wheat. Wheat flour in the cream corn and in the tater tots.

I would like to thank Shoney's - Crossville for the awesome meal I received as Vietnam Vet on Veterans Day. The service was above the top, and the food was fantastic! From the bottom of my heart the experience meant a lot to me. Thank y'all,

Always try to find Shoneys for breakfast when traveling. They each have different items in the food bar. Great for foodies who like to sample lots of different foods.

Really fantastic! I mean like, super fantastic! Came here to get breakfast and the buffet was awesome. The chicken and biscuits were amazingly light, the french toast was perfectly crispy, and there was enough of everything to have a complete breakfast! Service was also great, and I would certainly stop through here again! Folks, if you want a good breakfast, I can recommend this Shoneys. It was also very clean, something I can't say about the other Shoneys I have been to.

Stopped here on the way back from Nashville. We had the breakfast buffet. There was a really good selection of food for a buffet style dining. There were plenty of choices that allowed me to avoid biscuits and gravy and breaded fried meats . My wife remarked that the sausage patty reminded her of the homemade sausage she had as a child. I went back and got one. Really great sausage. I bent my rule for the day and got two French toast sticks and the hot syrup to go with the sausage patty. That was top drawer. The next time we are in the area we will stop there. The staff was great, calling locals by their names as they came in. Great home town atmosphere.

First time I've been to a Shoneys. I had the dinner fresh food bar. Everything was really good food! Homemade applesauce, great mashed potatoes and chicken, yummy bacon. Excellent pasta salads. I'll definitely be back there!

Excellent all around. We especially liked the fish and steak (very well seasoned and tender!) and large selection of sides on buffet.

First time going there. We went there for the all you can eat buffet. Food was awesome service was great I would recommend this place to anyone.

This has been my second home for years now great place to work. Nice family dining experience . Great place to take your family great food. Servers are great.

Was passing through from St. Louis back to South Carolina and so glad we did! The service (epically Susan) was great! I definitely recommend the morning breakfast bar. Will definitely be back when passing through again.

Went for Thanksgiving. Food was good. Service was good. Would definitely go again!

We tried to go to Cracker Barrel but it was too crowded so we went here. We were seated right away. Waitress was great. She was very nice. My wife got the salad bar. Even though it was really lunch time, breakfast was still there. I got hamburger and fries which was good. I added salad bar since it looked good. When I went to pay, she asked if we were seniors (we are) and gave us the senior discount. We were traveling so this place is not close to home. Otherwise, we would definitely go again.
