Lovely new and used bookshop. The new books are upfront and the used are in the back with the comfy black leather chair. Both sections offer a great selection of books. They also sell unique gifts such as a national parks coffee mug, magnets, and chocolate bars. Reading Rock Books is a great find in Dickson.

Ive been here a few times now and I love it! They don't have the largest selection but the books they have are usually very good. The people who work there are very kind and helpful and are very knowledgeable about the books they sell. Definitely worth a visit!

It was a pleasant surprize for us... we had no idea a store of it's kind was in Dickson! And so convenient...right next door to the coffee shop! A good variety, friendly personnel - a nice vice!

This is definitely the best book store you can go to in Dickson. There shop always feels very homey and the staff is always so friendly and nice. I was once looking for a book for my sister and she asked me what type of books she liked and found me 4 or 5 options. Definitely recommend!

Great selection of all types of books. Great gifts spread out through the store too. The two ladies running the shop are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time here and already wanting to come back on my next trip to town.

Went in here today for the first time and it was a delight. The women working were so outgoing and helpful, clearly all avid book lovers. They had everything very well organized and laid out. I am coming back again and again.

I meant to leave this review a while ago but life happens. I believe it was a month ago, it had snowed and as we walked up we saw a sign that said closing early. As we walked in wondering if we were too late to look for a book I wanted, the worker informed us we had time and was very friendly. (I really hate shopping too close to closing time because I know how it is when you need to get stuff done.)
I said I only needed one thing, if she could help me find Good Omens.
She went right to it, asked which cover version I wanted and we talked about the genius that is that book and Neil Gaiman. I left so happy and I absolutely love this book store so much. I wish I could remember the name of the person that helped me, because they are always helpful and obviously know what they are talking about.
So thank you!

Book stores have become so rare, so when I saw the storefront while browsing downtown Dickson I had to go right in! The smell took me back to my childhood. There's just nothing like the smell of books! This store has a great collection of books, both contemporary & classic. The sections were carefully organized and everything felt like you were looking for books in a cozy home rather than a store. We loved the new & the used section. Great store..we will return!

First time visiting it from out of state. Very welcoming environment. There are comfortable chairs to get absorbed in a book and little gift items along with chocolate. Warm and friendly staff of workers too.

My new bookstore! This place is worth the drive for sure. The staff, Rachel especially, was great. Super friendly. Super knowledgeable and clearly actually loved books unlike many of the big box book sellers.

So my days off me and my son have a routine. We go to House Blend for drinks and breakfast and then stop in to get a new book. The people here know him by sight and have ALWAYS made us feel at home here! I am so thankful for my bookstore family!!

Great selection of books and very pleasant atmosphere! Good place to stay and read awhile with its quiet environment. Staff is very helpful- When they have not had a book I wanted, they ordered it for me and I picked it up when it arrived. I really like this bookstore!

Excellent, topic-based displays, friendly service. Well-lit with seats for reading. Employees wear masks responsibly in 2020. I found three great books I didn't know about before.

Love this place! Very friendly and welcoming. Staff will chat with you or leave you to explore on your own if you prefer. Used section in the back is a must see.

What a wonderfully, sweet and refreshing small business experience! A wonderful collection of children's and adult books, as well as journals, and tote bags. Such a great little shop any small town would be lucky to have a place like Reading Rock books!

Staff is super friendly and helpful! If you want a specific book they don't carry they can special order it for you. Highly recommend picking up books from this store so it stays around for years to come.

Switching back from reading books on my iPads, to reading physical books. Loved the store and the lady checking us out was so nice and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Great selection of books. Went in looking to complete my collection of Anne Rice books and Game of Thrones and found both. Also has a really good used section.

Wonderfully helpful staff. Answered all of our questions and even gave us tips and ideas for area activities.
I wish we lived closer so this could be OUR hometown bookstore!
