Vollmer Farm - Farm Market & Cafe'

Beautiful and friendly. This is a working farm with a very well stocked store that includes food and gifts. They are also members of Harvest host if you are interested in camping. They have a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, specialty coffees and more.

We had the best time today. Beautiful weather and great open space to let the kids play. Very nostalgic feeling and memories were made.

We took my 3 year old granddaughter for their fall festival...tons of activities...lots to do and included in the price. The store was great too and the food...purchased some cute fall decor and a couple of items...plus pumpkins...although free with admission too...and ate food there. Reasonablr prices. Would definitely recommend for families and even individuals...adults..kayaking and plenty to keep busy. Will go here again.

Vollmer Farm is a great day trip.
Fresh meat, produce, jams, and jellies!
Also has some local merchandise.
There is even a coffee and ice cream shop on site that is delicious!
However, my wife and I went for the U-Pick flowers. There is a whole field of wildflowers from June-August that you can go pick yourself for a reasonable fee.
We had a great all around experience at Vollmer and will definitely be returning!

A farmer's market for produce, pumpkins, and other items. They also have an ice cream & coffee shop with tons of great options.

I always have the BEST time here with my little girl! And honestly, if you’re an adult and you can’t have fun here, you’re a stick in the mud. This is the most amazing family fun adventure you can get! The pricing is great for the quality of entertainment! Thanks to the whole welcoming staff here!

A great day trip for families with young kids! This was our second visit and it's quickly becoming a fall tradition for us. It's such a wholesome place, with lots of fun activities and friendly staff. And unlike most places the food is very fairly priced.

We did not eat at the cafe. We just visited the store. Great prices. Very nice and helpful staff. We cannot wait to eat all the fine produce and pumpkin pie we bought.

I have fallen in love with this farm. Like many others that I assist or advise in how to reach their customers. They are family owned, locally sourced with the brands they work with and are down to earth, kind hearted, friendly people that add value to the world. Stay tuned for their awesome family oriented events and phenomenal products from a host of Got To Be NC products. This is a must see, must eat situation!

Nice farm for the south, plenty of pumpkins to pick and my one-year-old a three-year-old had an amazing time! There is a huge corn pit, a big slide, a cow tractor ride, and bouncy hill and more. I highly recommend this farm!

Great place to visit. We stayed on the farm via Harvest Host. Very friendly folks. We really enjoyed our stay. We visited the store and Cafe before we left. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

10/10 would recommend if you have small children. Took my 2 & 3 year old and they were entertained for a solid 2.5 hours! Win! Such a cool place. Will be going back.

We’ve gotten coffee and breakfast sandwiches from Vollmer Farm Cafe on many occasions and it is excellent! Highly recommend to anyone stopping in town for a quick coffee and bite to eat.
Also, their online ordering works wonderfully! We used that feature this last time and our food and coffee was ready right when we got there!

The back 40 was cancelled due to the rain. We are are to reschedule at a different date. We had lots of fun here. My grandson loved everything! Thanks for everything that yall do. Looking forward to going back!

The produce was fresh and the wild flower colorful. They have beef from a local farm. They make different pickled items and well as some jams.
Nice little ice cream shop with plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy your cone.

Great place for a family outing. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. The food choices they have are delicious! There are U-Pick flowers, blueberries, and blackberries. A small playground for the children to enjoy and a shop with various local goods.

My wife, kids, and I not only experienced this farm. We also stayed in "Grandma's House" via Air B&B. It was wonderful. Like renting a whole home + included activities for the cost of a double hotel room. When we visit this area again, staying here will be a no-brainer. The girls loved it. I think the best way to show you is to share the thank you notes our girls wrote to our hosts Mr. and Mrs. Vollmer. Our hosts were both nice and friendly and made us feel like we were part of the family. We took a picture and I uploaded the thank-you notes here.

This is a great farm that offers flower cutting and berry picking. They have vendors set up inside offering produce, honey, decor, and more. If you're looking for unique gift items you might want to make the trip! They even have a small café now! Everyone is very friendly and helpful and if you go now, you can cut some of the most beautiful sunflowers I've ever seen!

What a great place! Our 18 month old twins really enjoyed the corn maze and the Pumpkin painting, and the wooden train at the playground. We ran out of time to do more activities/get our free pumpkin/shop at the store, but we hope to be back soon!
