Hidden Springs Campground

What a nice hidden gem at Hidden Springs Campground! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners were super friendly and helpful. We loved how quiet it was, even on busier days. They have lots of amenities, including a pool, playground, pavilions, sand volleyball court, catch & release pond, laundry, and very nice restrooms and showers. Full hookups for RV camping. I loved all the trees throughout the campground, and the beautiful scenery of the mountains to the west. All the seasonal neighbors and fellow campers were friendly and fun. We will definitely return here for more camping adventures!

Stayed here for a few nights with the wife, 3 year old son, and 3 dogs. The location is super nice, plenty of woods just off the state park. Not much, if any, background noise. The owner and his family and staff are nice and friendly, and he clearly takes pride in the upkeep of the campground. Very nice showers and restrooms. Also, the RV spaces are huge, it seems like most are easily the size of a double space anywhere else. I had just about no service with T-Mobile, but had a bar or two with Verizon. Bottom line, though, I would definitely stay here again, given the opportunity.

Loved it. Great friendly staff. Extremely pet friendly. It would be nice if the pet area was closed in so you could let your dog off the leash to run around. I wish some sites were a little bigger and more defined. Still, there are many very roomy sites, though. Wish they had more seasonal sites available.

Great campground! Friendly owners that take the time to get to know their guests. Sites are large and well maintained. We used the campground as a base to do some biking in the area. There are lots of options - Allegheny Passage, C&O Canal, etc.. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention the "professional" wood delivery service! We will definitely be returning!

Came to Hidden Springs on the recommendation of my co-worker, who is a seasonal with his family. Super loved it! The sites are spacious, owners were awesome, activities were fun, people were just downright friendly! Pool was ready for swimming this weekend, my husband and son had a blast fishing the pond (the fish enjoy beef sticks!), and my mom and I enjoyed the bingo Saturday night. The seasonal sites were some of the best I’ve seen, very spacious and very well kept. I don’t use the bathhouses but always check them out for review purposes and will say this was the CLEANEST one I have seen, hands down! There is a little laundry facility as well. Seems to be a lot of upgrades being made to the property and we will definitely be back! Two great big thumbs up to Hidden Springs! Oh, and Oliver the mastiff approves as well!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Hidden Springs Campground. The owners are great! The campground is well maintained. We met people we will never forget!
While pool is not open, we saw kids having alot of fun. They were fishing, biking, playing on the playground, playing baseball and having after dark flashlight hikes.
Its a nice, kid friendly, well maintained campground. We highly recommend it!

Mark, Lisa, and kids have been great hosts. Many upgrades to include bath houses and the pool will be fabulous when finished. Park has never looked better and a pleasant place to visit with quiet hours and lots of activities/special events on the weekends. If you are a person who can follow rules, you’ll have a great time. If you need someone to babysit/entertain you or you can’t follow rules then this might not be the place for you and everyone would be happier if you moved along. It’s a campground, not Disney.

The campground is clean and well managed. The owners are very nice and easy to talk to. This was our first stay and we enjoyed it so much that we made tentative reservations to come back in two weeks. We would highly recommend Hidden Springs Campground to anyone who is looking for a close to home getaway. It is also suitable for anyone with small children. Also pet friendly!

We Always have a great time at Hidden Springs Campground. The owners are great! The campground is well maintained.the pool is very nice we saw kids having alot of fun. This was our first time here, we enjoyed our stay. I will say you have the nicest bathrooms that we have ever seen at a campground. Showers are very spacious, well designed and clean.
The dump station a little challenging since its on the opposite side of camper release and with the narrow roads if another camper coming, backing up is a nightmare.
We would come back.

Just spent 10 days at Hidden Springs Campground. Beautiful area close to biking trails and kayaking. Campground is very well maintained. Bathhouse is clean. Owners are amazing...very helpful and friendly! Easy to get the RV level and hookups include water, elec and sewer. Spots have plenty of room and include picnic tables and fire pit. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place to camp!

Very nice, well maintained campground. Beautiful bath house. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground. A private campground that welcomes short term stops along with their seasonal campers while making all feel welcome. Will definitely return when in the area. We love Hidden Springs and I’ve camped here ever since I’ve been a little girl. The new owners have made many improvements along with having many events for kids and families. We go multiple times a year and they are always very welcoming and helpful to any of our needs or concerns. The new bathhouse is gorgeous and we always have a blast anytime we go. We are sad camping season is almost over for the year and get to enjoy one last Halloween weekend.

@John Wilson, sorry you couldn’t entertain yourself. The pool is scheduled to open soon, it wouldn’t have been open this week anyway because it’s not Memorial Day yet. Maybe you could jump into Rocky Gap, just a short drive down the road, to cool your self off. Our kids were perfectly entertained this weekend because they know how to play outside, ride bikes, invent games, fish, hike, etc. A cancellation policy is in place for a purpose, it doesn’t matter the reason behind it. If you and your friends don’t come back we will all be better off 🤣

This place is beautiful! We were only there as a stop over after driving from MA, and wished we could have stayed longer. The bath house had brand new everything and the showers are large, nicest bath at a campground ever.
The people were helpful and very kind. Our site was exactly what we needed, easy pull thru, easy hook up. The pool is large and looks very clean. I hope we can go back some day

Still a very nice place. Well kept and quiet. Was there today for a friends baby shower. Recommend this place to everyone wanting to get out of town but not to far away from town. There is a swimming pool, small store, and an arcade room. Nice little campsites are available as well as pavilions and indoor bathrooms around said pavilions.

We were there this weekend and It was wonderful the staff is nice and they are helpful you ask for wood and they deliver it quickly the place is clean and the bathhouse is clean also we would recommend it to anybody we will be back

This is a perfect, kid friendly campground. We have enjoyed calling it our second home this summer. The owners are wonderful people and are making great improvements to the grounds. They are extremely friendly and have treated us like they have known us for ever. They have been a great help the is rookie campers and we look forward to many summers enjoying their campground. Highly recommended!

Definitely an interesting experience!
Lastly, apologies for checking in so late.
Leaving the city so late, then taking the backwoods "horror movie" route in a RV was not a good idea.
