Publix Pharmacy at Peachtree Square Shopping Center

Owe my first born to a couple of these pharmacists. They've really helped me get my meds down to the affordable range multiple times. They didn't even hesitate when I burst into tears when they told me the original price. American Health Care is a hellscape but my friends here at Publix Pharmacy go out of their way to help.

Editing my review because over the last year thumbs have totally changed. Prescriptions turn around quick and the staff is wonderful and helpful.

This place is hit or miss about 80% of the time. I’ve always been coming here and stay out of pure convenience. This was the cherry on top. They lost a prescription I brought on Sunday… I was told it would be ready tomorrow around 2pm. That is fine. I being my brother’s medication in before he needs them. I came that Friday to pick it up even though I hadn’t received a text. It’s okay cause sometimes I delete them by accident. I come in and they have NO idea what prescription I am even talking about. Then staff is trying to find the prescription I brought in. Luckily they found it and I was about to get it after waiting for them to fill it. It may have been a mistake but what if they couldn’t find it? It’s ADHD medication. It’s not antibiotics that I can just quickly ask for another prescription. I would have preferred an apology but they filled it and was like thank you! I get it, it wasn’t the end of the world. Sometimes saying “I’m sorry, it was an honest mistake” goes a long way.

I had a prescription which included Hydrocodone for after surgery pain. The pharmacist, instead of calling my doctor or review my history, assumed that I'm not eligible to receive this medication, and said they don't have it in stock. She even did not offered me to order it or even ask why my doctor prescribed this medication. When I told her I don't need now and I can pick it before Friday so she can order, she said it would be next week (this happened at Tuesday). I called my wife (she is pharmacist) and she said it's not good to go to different stores for this medication and they should give you the medication by calling your doctor or review your history in their system. I called the store manager and he called me back with same response and gave me the pharmacy supervisor number. I will follow up this to the highest possible person I can reach in the Company. I understand they face different situation with wrong people many times, but don't bothering themself and not calling the doctor office or review the patient history does not make sense at all.

Updating 10/12/2018 : Supervisor called and took care of the problem. I'm changing the stars from 1 to 3 because of supervisor and nice pharmacist in another publix which tried her best to convince me they did not have it at that time. Will write a good review about her whenever I get a chance.

I have been here many times and had a problem about 95% of the time.
1. They can't find my prescription.
2.They didn't full my prescription after receiving it.
3.They didn't run my prescription through insurance
4.They don't carry the medicine and didn't bother to call and tell me.
5. They don't let me know when my prescription is ready.

Out of everything. Went to Kroger right after and they had everything. We usually go to Kroger but I had a gift card to Publix. Publix has nothing but excuses. Kroger was better prepared and fully stocked each time we go even during a national crisis.

Always take longer time to able get my prescription, even I wait a day later and still not having my prescription ready!

I had the absolute worst experience at the deli department. I was on the phone but was trying to make eye contact with the lady behind the counter. I had to ask of there was someone that could help. I was told once I got off the phone. What?! If I had an ear bud would she have said that. And honestly, she was straight up rude! I will never go back. Never.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I wasn't going to qualify but this is the third time this has happened, it takes them a long time to get a medication ready. and if you arrive and ask, they answer you in a bad way and with "IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A MESSAGE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE, DO NOT COME OR SHOW UP." I need the medicine for my 3-year-old son, he has been waiting for the medicine for two days and nothing. Will they have it ready for me, when my son is healthy? I have been visiting this pharmacy for many years but it is definitely time to look for better options.

This location has been good for me until the last couple of prescriptions but it has gone downhill quickly. The last prescription for my BP medication took 3 days and I had to call and they still didn't have it ready. Today, the doc called in prescriptions for my flu bug at noon. At 3 I called to see if it was ready and the girl told me they would have it ready in a few minutes. I still hadn't heard anything by 6 so I called again and the guy gave me the same answer, ready in a few minutes...definitely by 7. I told him about the earlier girl and he said they were really busy and he had 30 people in front of him waiting...which I knew wasn't accurate because I have never seen more than 5 or 6 waiting. At any rate, I sent my wife up there and she still had to wait 10 minutes. If you are going to tell me you are going to have it ready in a few minutes, honor your word. I'll be transferring my pharmacy on my very next prescription.
