Barrel House Coffee Co

It was my first time trying Barrel House Coffee in Ball Ground. The pastries were delicious, and the Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee was excellent. It cuts down the bitterness and brings a bourbon aroma alive. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The decor was warm and inviting. I will be back for sure.

Wow! First time at Barrel House Coffee in Downtown Ball Ground! I would give extra stars for atmosphere if I could! Inside and out this local coffee spot is on point! Clean, charming, and delicious! The merch is on point too! Job well done!

My wife and I have been going to Barrel House since we moved to Ball Ground, about 3 1/2 years ago. We originally started going because we strongly believe in supporting small, independent businesses in our community. We continue to go because this place is great. The coffee is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Obviously you expect good coffee from a coffee shop and Barrel House doesn’t disappoint, but that’s only half the story. The coffee wouldn’t be enough if it weren’t for the service. People make a place and the owners and staff couldn’t be better.

The owners are top notch and all the staff are awesome. We are always greeted with a smile and a kind word. It’s seems people are becoming more and more rude and angry these days, but Barrel House is a great escape from the ugliness of the world. We’re proud to be called “regulars” here and we hope to continue our relationship with Barrel House for many years to come.

I went through downtown the other day with my boyfriend and my baby, and I remembered how good barrel house was from a while back… so I mentioned it and we went… best decision I’ve made this year! We got 2 regular frozen Carmel lattes for me and my boyfriend and they are perfect! it was super easy to order and had amazingly friendly employees, I will be returning with some friends/family!

Great coffee roaster with a solid product. Got the Light roast barrel aged (big vanilla and oak taste with sweet carmel notes) and the Costa Rica Honey (bright with notes of raisins). Also picked up some of their Ethiopian Guji as well for later. Will be stopping in here again when we are in town.

Folks-they age the coffee beans in whisky and bourbon barrels! And the result is heavenly. Super service and super atmosphere. Plus the charming town and restaurants, shopping and parks is worth a drive. It’s close to Gibbs gardens which is definitely a treat! This may be the best coffee I’ve ever had…stunned silence…it’s not close at all and I’m finding reasons to pass through charming Ballground to get coffee to sip AND buy a pound to bring home!

Very friendly staff always greeted with a smile and they are able to retain their staff versus other places that have a lot of turnover. They are pet friendly which is a huge plus for me. The oatmeal is very very good and the pastries are from Paulazzerts. They roast the coffee onsite very fresh. The barrel aged is a nice touch to my morning coffee.

We LOVE Barrel House. We drive 25 miles just to come here on Saturday mornings. The barrel aged coffee has a wonderful flavor, unlike any other. They have wonderful seasonal specials as well.Don't miss it!

OMCoffee! Talk about checking off all the boxes! I drive up through the area a lot and am thankful for stopping in. If you enjoy coffee and bourbon, get the infused version. It will change your life. I love supporting this Veteran-owned business and will now come by every time I am in the area… from the first cup I had to today makes 3 visits in the last 10 days or so. Would love to have you in East Cobb, but will go out of my way to get a cup if I have to!

Literally the cutest coffee shop I have ever been into. They are pet friendly, friendly and gentle. Their ice chai tea latte is amazing; but I also highly recommend the cinnamon rolls! Great environment, was a lovely stop!!

Really delicious coffee. It’s always packed inside, but I heard they will be expanding and look forward to that. They have an absolutely insane selection of flavors, as well as lots of teas if you’re not into coffee, or like me, prefer your coffee tastes like other things. There is typically a little bit of a wait, so just be prepared when you stop in that you’re not likely to get in and out immediately.

A friend suggested that we try out Barrel House Coffee Co, and they did not disappoint. We tried their fresh brewed coffee and barrel aged espresso. Their roasts have phenomenal flavors. The atmosphere is very fun and cozy, and they are animal friendly! We'll definitely be back for more goodies.

I love it here. If I was a local, it'd be my #1 spot. Perfect coffee and wonderful selection. Bought some Fair trade Ethiopian to take home and it's my morning addiction! Their bourbon barrel aged coffee really has the flavor! Their Nutella bourbon barrel aged latte was the best of all time, best!!! My kids enjoyed playing cornhole outside in what's spacious, garden area seating. Parking lot in back was full, arrived just in time to get someone's space, but there's plenty of street parking on weekdays.

The staff are super friendly and I'm excited to return and try something new! Went twice during a weeklong horse camp my kid attended in the area. Very modern but small town feel. Really clean, bathroom kept up. They even have a small party room that can be rented.

Absolutely great atmosphere, I ordered a latte with a bourbon by a recommendation of the guy over there, and it was really nice to try this, I ordered also the Nutella muffin, nice, not more.

Fresh, flavorful and smoothest coffee I ever had. Not sure, if this is the alcohol speaking 😉. Indeed delighted to have tasted their Barrel aged coffee. Would certainly come back again.

The staff is always very friendly and have the best attitudes. The store is always clean. They have new flavors for all the months, holidays and special events. You can get hot, iced and blended. You can even get 10% off for wearing their shirts. It’s our family and friends favorite. They are Military and first responder friendly so they do offer that discount with valid ID!

I always have such a great experience when I go to Barrel House. The baristas are so kind and the service is quick and the drinks are always amazing. I have never gotten a bad drink. With other coffee shops I feel like the coffee can be so inconsistent depending on who makes it but I never feel that way here. Highly recommend the iced Nutella latte and the frozen white chocolate marshmallow!

Great coffee shop in downtown Ball Ground! It has a calming environment and the barrel-aged coffee is great, it has a bourbon-like flavor (and pairs well with vanilla syrups!). I’ve never been to another coffee shop that does this, it’s so fun and unique. All the employees have been very friendly and helpful too!

I love a strong coffee flavor, and their unique recipe flavors were awesome! The inside and outside areas were a nice atmosphere as well.

My wife and I stopped in for a Sunday morning coffee. Th barrel aged coffee is amazing. You can get taste the whisky in the coffee. The coffee is smooth and bold. The staff is very friendly and proud of what they are doing, as they should be. They are happy to give you a tour of the operation. This is my new coffee house.
