Mr. Charles Burden and Ms. Joyce; thank you. I am grateful for the care and treatment our family received during the interment of Bishop Rodney Tyler Wyche Sr.

Thank you for always asking questions and respectfully complying with our wishes. Thank you for understanding how much he meant to us. Thank you for answering the same questions over and over without rushing us off the phone. Thank you for the beautiful blanket, I will treasure it forever.

I highly recommend Burden’s Funeral Home to anyone looking for kind, honest and respectful people; they treated us like family. God bless you, your establishment and your employees.

When I lost my son almost two years ago, Burden funeral home went above and beyond what I expected, Not only did they drive a total of 16 hours to get my son from North Carolina and bring home to griffin, Ga . 8 hours to North Carolina and 8 hours back to griffin, In one day. Not to mention they re- touch up my son face and he didn't even look as if he had been in a accident. My child was sleeping in peace.

The time they took on my child was wonderful. Mrs. Joyce exceeded my expectation on his obituary. I couldn't be more than pleased with the service and when I notice a mistake they did everything in there power to correct it within a matter of time. I have entrusted them with three of my family member nothing but professionalism the whole time. I don't live in griffin any more I occasionally get a phone call from them to check up on the family. I understand that most of the reviews have gotten bad service. For what ever reason I didn't get that from them. I can only speak for me and family ordeal.

Great funeral home.

This funeral home is nice. They have a very neat and nice facility and the people employed here were professional. However, I gave 2 stars because my grandmother looked nothing like herself when they were done with her. I barely recognized her. Her makeup and hair seemed rushed as if it were just thrown together. It was so disappointing because my grandmother ALWAYS spoke highly of this place. She wanted them to be a service to her when her time came. I feel as if they let her down as far as her appearance.

I truly wish I could give this home no stars. It's truly what they deserves for what they did to my family and I'm sharing this review so that no one else has to go through something like this. They went out of their way to make what was already a difficult time for my family so much worst. The owner of this establish is a nasty man whose only God is Money and if he feels that you aren't the one paying him he feels he is within his rights to exclude you, to belittle you and to be out right disgusting. He constantly justified every evil thing he did by mentioning money. I find it ironic that he has the bible open on his website displaying scripture when his true God is money. When we all know that God and his son Jesus could care less about money and more about doing what is right which he is incapable of doing. On top of the unprofessionalism this funeral home also provided an error filled program to the entire church. Large errors that were easily catchable if someone on their staff had even a elementary school education and could proofread. How do you make a mistake and say "To my Day" instead of Dad. These errors were glaring and embarrassing and this funeral home didn't catch or they did and since they are all about the money didn't care to reprint with corrections. Charles Burden should be ashamed of himself for how he acted towards a grieving family and ashamed of his establishment and staff. If you love your family member and care about having a beautiful home sending this funeral home is not for you. In fact it's not for anyone. This funeral home needs to be closed down or someone else needs to take over because Charles Burden is severely lacking in the qualities of a funeral home director not to mention the qualities of a decent human being. All I have to say is that if you want a true funeral that will be a blessing unto your family and friends one guided by a true professionals that will make your time of grief easier for all those in your family and not just for the one with the money. Please for the love of God pick another funeral home to help send your love one home. Charles Burden doesn't deserve your money and you don't deserve the burden that he will put on your family.
