Thrasher Park

I liked this park. It was huge and friendly to kids of all ages.

A public, wooden stage is available. It could easily support a live band.

Plenty of parking is available.

Handicapped accessible restrooms are available for male's and female's.

This park is near the train tracks and a short walking distance from historic, downtown Norcross, GA.

I would go here again.

Wonderful place for kids and picnics.

We Had a Great Time at this Park! My daughter is 2, and she loved both of the playgrounds, it has a lot of things to do… and lots of Shade ☺ swings are Great

Love this park! Great for the kids big and small. Pet friendly, plenty of parking and nice restrooms. Saturdays are great because you get to wave to the trains.

Very nice park and bathrooms were clean. Really enjoyed bringing my grandbaby here, she had a blast.

Had an amazing time with the grandkids. It’s clean and the playground had options for toddlers and bigger kids. There’s a stage and restrooms and picnic tables and seating out there. The park is nice. Less bugs out there.

About the a block large, Thrasher Park packs a surprising amount of fun in for such a relatively small space. Parking is convenient, and I have rarely had an issue getting a space right next to it even during peak hours. Well kept grounds and some amazing trees make it very pleasing to the eye. A good deal of the park is playground, making it more of a destination to bring your kids rather than a date; however there are benches and bench swings aplenty. Copious shade and surprisingly clean restrooms add a lot to the appeal. Train tracks run by the park, but are fenced off of course. My boys love to watch them go by. Plenty of downtown Norcross shopping in easy walking distance as well. The streets around are relatively busy, but the playground is situated far enough back that safety isn't compromised.

Wow what a great find! Downtown Norcross is great! Lots of restaurants right here. Awesome free concert series. BeUtiful park and area!! Tonight it was a fantastic band named The Voltage Brothers!

Nice place to hang out. There is a pavilion you can rent out that has grills and tables. The playground is quiet large

Nice small park with a large playground. Having a bathroom is a bonus.

Lovely park I attended the Norcross music on the lawn. Amazing performers, great music and dancing. Enjoyed myself in the park!

The kids love this place & the views are definitely picture worthy. The water fountain does not work though, so if you are thinking about making a trip to the park, definitely bring some beverages of your own!

This is my favorite park to take the kids too. The bathrooms are clean, plenty of benches under shade. Playground equiptment for kids of all ages. Gorgeous trees and right in the heart of downtown norcross.
They have stage and pavillion and regularly have community events there. There is something charming about being right next to the railroad and seeing the train pass by. Not to mention, it is a 1 minute walk from to a strip of restaurants and boutiques.

Beautiful area, the park is very nice and safe. Allot of dining in the area.

It's not a huge park, but it's really, really nice! It has a great playground, nice bathrooms, and some good shade here and there.

We visit this park almost daily with our 2 girls, 5 and 2. They always have a great time and meet new friends!

Great family fun park for concerts and a great playground.

Sun, shade, beautiful, inviting and engaging for all ages. A train comes by nearly every time we go and the last time it stopped for 20 minutes right next to the park.

I love this park because it is walking distance from my house.
