Super simple restaurant with a daily lunch buffet and great burgers!!
Stopped in today because we wanted quick and I'm so glad we did. We each got hamburger steak from the buffet. Watching my diet, I added the cabbage and butter beans while my husband added rice, gravy and cornbread. Delicious!
The ladies who we interacted with were super sweet and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Burger 🍔. Very Large and Delicious. A must go. I will be back. Friend got a Salad 🥗 and he said perfect taste. Good looking salad. 👍👍 pick up from drive through window.

On Friday, I ordered a plate lunch to go. It consisted of two pieces of fish, potato salad, baked beans, spaghetti &cheese, roll, slice of cake and sweet tea.
The fish was moist & lightly fried, the potato salad delicious and I loved the cheesy spaghetti. I keep forgetting to Take Pictures ! But this was ate in my lap under a shade tree. WILL TRY MORE Dishes/entrees from there.

Great home cooking. You will eat more than you should there.

The. Food was delicious. I had carryout. It was hot & tasty. The service was wonderful. I was in somewhat of a hurry .The Customer service was off the chain. The portions were to my satisfaction. Great Cooks down home meals ..

This place is is true gem!!! Awesome food! Best burgers anywhere! I bought some burgers for my family from lafayette when they were in summit visiting and they were floored by how delicious and big the burgers from Doretha's were. They couldn't stop talking about how how you couldn't find anything this good in lafayette! Always excellent customer service and such a friendly staff. Everything here is good.. some of our favorites besides the burgers are the hamburger steak plates, seafood plates, chicken pie, and pork chop sandwiches, just to name a few.

I ordered my mother a fish sandwich and although it was a basic sandwich it was huge. Definitely enough to share and that's exactly what mother did. The sandwich had four full pieces of catfish filets on white bread. The fish was lightly seasoned and delicious.

You can't get a better home made burger than here! It's been that way for years. Service is always polite and helpful. And the sweet tea is about the best in town too! I'll be honest, I don't know how the rest of the food is here because all I've ever had is the burger. They do have a seafood buffet on weekends and good soul food for lunch during the week.

Enjoyed a delicious pork chop platter while my daughter had the shrimp Po boy which was also delish! Would definitely go again....

Doretha's restaurant is the true meaning of country soul and heaven on earth!! This beautiful and sweet cuisine queen will excite your taste buds like no other. My personal favorite is Tuesday's meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Each bite is full of love and perfection!!!

Omg I agree burger was amazing. Made husband share the shrimp po boy. Yep that's awesome to. Prefect breading. But if I had to complain the burger was too big and there was too many shrimp

Best Catfish in SW Mississippi. Great salads and the shrimp PoBoy reminds me 🏠 (the Gulfcoast). We eat here several times a week. Lunch Specials are very good.

I have been going here for 10 years and I absolutely love it! The food is amazing and very plentiful! The burgers are by far my favorite!

Excellent food! Juiciest crispy chicken and very flavorful salad. The ice tea and lemon cake were fabulous!

Every time I'm in town I stop in and eat some of the best soul food in a great atmosphere and they are always so friendly. Can't wait to dine there again.

I love the shrimp poboy. She hve the best seafood u want, u must try it promise u will love the food. So that also mean that she hve 2 hve great cooks and I know that she do. So go try her food and let her know how u like it, post it.
