RIB SHACK BBQ

A Co-Peer suggested this spot for lunch. I had an early day and decided to stop in for carry out. Once home and relaxed I dug in. When I say this taste of smokey tender goodness reminds me of the "Ole School" Pit Masters....WOW! A UNIQUELY well seasonsed aweet and tangy sauce to LIVE for...❣❣❣❣it's right here. Please don't take my word for it...give Rib Shack a try...I guarantee YOU, you won't be sorry! The restuarant itself is clean and bright. The young lady managing the register was all so kind and polite. Nice spot in the Largo area...Check him OUT😊

What should you get at the Rib Shack? RIBS! The juicy meat falls off the bone and has a great smokey taste and the sauce makes it even better. The chopped pork overshadowed by the ribs but you know their meat is fresh. The collards were my favorite but all the sides were good. And don't forget to finish off with a nice mini pie - they are delicious!

Some of the best ribs I’ve ever had, soaked in their house barbecue sauce, absolutely off the chain, I would definitely go back again and again! I had the three rib teaser lunch special, it was more than plenty!

Amazing ribs. My main go to for consistently flavorful and meaty ribs that fall off the bone. Chopped pork (pulled pork) is also on point. Usually carry out but there's an inside with bar and tables if you want to dine in.

Incredible BBQ. Been coming here for years, even when they were slightly further up the street. These guys KNOW bbq and their "Grandpa Johnny Mack" sauce is the kind you think about when your plannin a meal a week in advance. As you can see from pic, you get what you pay for. That isn't even the C-dub pork sammich they advertise as HUGE. Great ribs, great pulled pork, great wings and sausage and always consistent. Bottom line, 5 stars and a few more *************.

This place has officially won the #1 spot for ribs in my heart!! They are fall-off-the-bone and tender--with the sauce that they put on them: MMM, MMMMM, MMMMM. I am happy the first place we were going to go to didn't work out, or else I would've missed this date with destiny.

It's real deal home grown smoked BBQ with good value. The chopped pork dinner with two sides was tasty and filling. And the collard greens had some heat too. The draft beer was nice and cold. It's a blue collar fast food counter atmosphere with some hard working staff doing a good job. We liked it.

Just moved to the area from New England about a year ago. I’ve been looking for a good BBQ joint so I decided to try this place tonight. Hands down, this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had in my life. Generous portion, great flavors, and the smoke really shines through when you bite into the meat. As soon as I started eating it I could tell this food was made with love & soul. Highly, highly recommend!

Very good I had the chicken sandwich special with the collard greens. It was so good. The greens had spice to it just like I like them. I tasted the baked beans and this is the first place in my life out in public that I have tried baked beans and they were good. So I will be back! My family usually makes our own baked beans and will buy meat from a barbecue place and come home and to eat our own but these were good. A must try

Always a great experience coming here. I love their chopped pork sandwich. My dad is visiting and requested to come here based off his previous experience. Today we experienced great customer service. My dad expressed to me that his ribs were a bit darker than he would like, the young lady working the register overheard him and got him ribs to his liking. Now that's how you serve customers!!! Treat yourself and go check them out.

I should have written this review a long, long time ago - I am sorry I didn't. The Rib Shack is probably one of the BBQ restaurants around anywhere. Their portions are huge, their prices terrific and the service and smiles unbeatable. With this Covid mess, their hours have changed somewhat, so everyone needs to rally around this wonderful home-grown restaurant and keep it going. You will be so happy you tried it.

10/10 We'll be back! Sonny's is flaming garbage compared to this place. The meat melts in your mouth, the sides are better than your Grandma's and there is no wait! You get your food in less than 15 minutes! The best part? It's CHEAP. You absolutely cannot beat these prices. Casual dining atmosphere, though most people seem to be ordering take out. Great place to grab a cold beer and a hot meal.

Tried Rib Shack for the first time the other night....new to the area. Did takeout since, I believe, the inside service is in lock-down. Yes, a bit dark inside but the aroma of the smoked meat could get me over that. Both the chopped pork sandwich and the family rack of ribs were wonderful. Portion size of the ribs was amazing. Have to say the outside bark of the ribs was a bit dry, but the rest of the meat was spot-on moist and smokey. I'm not a fall-off-the-bone fan myself, I like a little "pull" to my ribs and these hit that chord just fine. Best BBQ I've had since leaving B'ham, AL 15 years ago!...Try it

Very great food. Place does not look like much from outside but definitely you have to try the ribs, the chicken and the sausage. Thry smoke meats in a huge smoker for hours. Oh it's so delicious and tender. We did take away but you can eat there too. Thry also serve beer and soft drinks. Well worth a visit. I will return!!!
